Windy City Produce offers excellent prices of their fresh fruits. They also have top-notch meat selection, and staff that is both friendly and helpful. It is a go to place for a budget friendly shopping.

I love this place. It's small but packed with everything you could need. Deli, seafood, fresh produce, delicious salads. Also, everything you would need like a Jewel. The employees are so polite and helpful. I love going here and look forward to it every time.

We have been going here for over 30 years and I always appreciate the quality and variety of their produce and the way they respond to the needs of the neighborhood over time. They've had such wonderful staff over the years and I know neighbors really appreciate them!

Their butcher counter now offers great service and their prepared foods are such a convenient option, from hot meals to cold cuts and salads and fresh made salsas.

I remember long before the most recent upgrade when there were barrels of pickles and sauerkraut out. Now we look forward to getting tamales before they sell out for the day. The carnitas are always delicious too, I would rather buy them prepared there than try to make them myself.

I like discovering new things in the pantry section, they fit a lot in a few aisles! For example, we had searched across several grocery stores for the Tadin tea that helps an older friend with respiratory problems more than anything else.

I was a little concerned when I didn't see it on the shelf in the usual space the last time I came through, but then I turned around and I had a whole end cap with a wide variety of herbal teas from that brand and others. Looking forward to trying more soon!

This place is a gem. Their produce is reliably fresh, and the staff has always been friendly. For a relatively small neighborhood store, they have a big selection (I was surprised to see fresh Kalamata olives and Fage yogurt).

They also have a butcher with good cuts of meat and a deli counter. Prices are generally competitive with other grocery stores, even the bigger ones. There’s a (small) parking lot too. Highly recommend!

This market has everything: fresh food, regular stuff, and special things. It`s easy to find stuff, and the people who work there are nice. Great for all kinds of shopping.

Fair warning, it's on the small side and, with that, there are some items (coffee, for example) where the price/selection aren't great.

I went to this store and they have a excellent selection of meats. We needed meats since we are going to cook a lot of food and meat is our main ingredients and it is just a good thing that this store has a good quality and fresh different kind of meat. Prices are also reasonable. The staff in the meat section was friendly and helpful. Their selection of produce is also fresh. This really is a great store. I do not usually go in here and I've been here just for a few times but they are really is a great store in the area. I highly recommend this store if you are living around the area especially their meat selection and produce selection. I did not got the chance to fully explore the store but my experience is enough to say that they really is a good one. Looking forward on my next visit!

Great prices on papayas store secret special is that before apples expire,lettuce,mangos they go on sale 4 pieces for a dollar u must buy same day and eat within 3 days or less or freeze remains for blender drink,they sell meat and cheese,half cantaloupe,melons,fruit wrapped plastic mixed and cut fresh containers ,green cantaloupe,big red mangoes,cilantro,jicama,nopales cut or whole,potatoes,garlic,Tampico juice,some canned goods note this is a small grocery store but well worth it for vegetables and fruits ,tostada's and tortillas available too

The best place in Chicago for the Grocery

I love shopping in this small business for my groceries! The produce is fresh and fair priced. The cut up fruit will surprise you. On the weekends, they have delicious beef barbacoa that everyone must try! I second the fact that it is crowded at times, but the staff is quick at the checkout.

Fresh produce, great carnitas, and rotisserie chicken. The French bread is always hot and fresh.

Super fresh produce and basic groceries at a great price, and very friendly staff. As a vegan, I didn't think they would have a lot of the specialty items I buy, but they have tofu, hummus, and non dairy milks. Even though they have a smaller selection than some stores, they have basically everything I need. Love this place!

Great grocery store you can find everything you need from the deli to the meets to Hispanic American or almost any other products you need and the employees are very nice and hard working,they try their best to fulfill your order as fast as they can.

I love coming here for small grocery items. The prices are great and there’s a good variety on all products. I particularly love the fruit and vegetable selection.

Like so many places, prices went up HOWEVER, Windy City Produce is STILL cheaper than other places. Meat is excellent, fruits and vegetables as well. The deli always has what I need. They have prepared food, ie. roasted chicken, Puerto Rican rice, Mexican rice, carnitas, fresh bread etc. AND Milagro tortillas most of the time! 😋

Killer Arrechera prices (for the city)! Limes that looked like Lemons, that was pretty cool. Not a lotta room, but a lotta products so my elbows will just have to deal with it!
