I will say this place never disappoints! every time I’ve gone there since their first location has been amazing. From the ribs and brisket to the gator bites and rabbit. Can’t forget the sides! A++ if you want some southern bbq food in mass/ Rhode Island this is the place you need to try!

This place was amazing from beginning to end. The staff are so welcoming and patient when we had questions about things. We got chicken wings, ox tail, ribs, mashed potatoes w/gravy, and mac and cheese. Every single item was the best I've EVER had. Highly, highly recommend.

Amazing FOOD. You won’t find bbq and soul food combined any where else in New England. The ribs are so savory and scrumptious the sides all authentically made. If you’re looking for an amazing home cooked meal to leave you satisfied and FULL, look no further. There is a reason he has been master chef FIVE TIMES.

Never tasted a rib I liked until tonight. Fell right off the bone and the seasoning, flavor and bbq sauce was spot on. Pulled pork was out if this world and the sides matched. The meat was unbelievably tender. Service was also great. New favorite bbq 👌

Laid back atmosphere. Delicious food. I'm a big eater, and the $20 special filled me up twice, and I had a little left over for a snack. I can't recommend this place enough.

Today was my first time trying this place and it was amazing!!! My husband had the chopped chicken sandwich and fries, I had a brisket combo with mashed and Mac. Then we shared hush puppies. Everything was really good!!! The hush puppies were my favorite part - we will definitely be back!!!!

I asked someone about another BBQ restaurant, and they suggested Kinfolks BBQ. I love BBQ, and this is scrumptious. My wife isn't really a BBQ fan, and she wants to take the hour ride to get more.

Had the jerk chicken special. Was great. Fried chicken was amazing. Ribs fell off the bone. Chopped chicken was delicious. Beans were amazing. BUT…..those collard greens…..I will be back just for those. I’ve never had good collards in Mass. THIS IS HOW THEY SHOULD ALWAYS TASTE. Yum

Wow. Updating my review now that they have a storefront instead of the food truck. Good is still fantastic but now there are places to sit. I count 7 tables plus some counter space at the front window. I ordered a pound of pulled pork and brisket to take home and was pleased that the sauce is optional. Sometimes the smoke is all you need.

Foods delicious! I drive 45 mins there and back once a week for their food. They could do a little better with the sides- they aren’t always full. My go to plate -10 piece honey garlic wings with collard greens and Mac.

Quite simply the best BBQ I've had north of the Carolinas. Ribs that fall off the bone and melt in your mouth, pulled pork exploding with flavor, tender, succulent brisket smoked to perfection.... don't forget the fresh baked cornbread! All of the sides I've tried so far are fantastic as well.... potato salad and mac n cheese, and the baked beans are out of this world! The owners and staff are always friendly and happy to serve. I rated the atmosphere lower only because it's a simple storefront in a strip mall but who cares? In the back is where the magic happens! Trust me, your experience with Kinfolks food will be nothing short of magical!

The best southern style bbq around. They have a great selection of food and it's well worth every penny. I ordered the 1/2 Rack dinner with 2 sides Hush Puppies which were awesome and the Mac and Cheese banging. The ribs were awesome love this place.

Great meats, brisket and pork were off the charts. Mac n cheese was a little dry but I’ll forgive it cause of how good the star of the show was. Definitely hit this place up, really good q.

I changed my review to 5 stars because they were closed for vacation. Everyone deserves a vacation! Will try again soon.
Update: Have been to the store location and today the truck near Globe Liquors.
Food is fantastic! Had ribs and they were awesome. Today did the fried chicken and hush puppies. Everything was great. And the yams were so yummy. Yummy yammies!

Being from Georgia I have tried several bbq places in new england. This is by far the best I’ve had up here. Collard greens are the best I’ve had and the brisket is amazing. Reasonable prices. Highly recommend for a truly southern style bbq

Great ribs, brisket, potato salad, collards! Regular sauce and meats are gluten free. Take out was still great hours after we picked it up. We will definitely be back.

Place is always good. Try to order online so you can get the specials for that evening. Their fried chicken is super good

Award winning bbq Done right. One plate has 1/4 chicken and beef brisket side of baked beans and Mac and cheese other plate has beef brisket Mac with Candy yams 😊.Both come with a chunk of cornbread which is nice & soft and delicious .. Prices and relatively cheap for what u get, like I said best in town. Great family owed Restaurant .

Great place! Love their BBQ. Got the fisherman's plattter,....so good! 2 huge pieces of fish, a generous amount of shrimp & scallops with hush puppies& fries = DELICIOUS

Never heard of this place before but someone recommended it to me. This is the best BBQ I've had in Massachusetts. I got the chopped chicken with bbq sauce, Mac and cheese, and yams. Every single thing had their own unique flavor. Even the chicken without the sauce was flavorful. Cornbread very fresh. The line wasn't too bad on a Thursday night during dinner. The wait wasn't that long either. Not even 10 minutes? It'd be worth extra time anyways. I tried my friends pulled pork and it was like a very Smokey flavor. Delicious. Staff was nice. Heard that they're usually ALWAYS busy which is a good sign since you're always getting the freshest batch.
