With a well designed space and a pretty good restaurant, this motel could be the Sea Ranch Lodge of the east coast…A place to do slow down and do absolutely nothing.

In fact, I found the service and food here to be most excellent. A surprise! Better than the Lodge at Sea Ranch. More casual than Faviken. More fun than Harbor House.

Only wished our room’s reading nook could have been made more comfortable with a few additional pillows and throws blankets.

Hope to check back in the spring/fall when outdoor activities and food are at their peak.

I had the privilege of photographing a wedding at Tourists in 2023 and couldn't have fallen more in love with the venue. The staff is lovely, the surroundings are intimate and romantic, while also playful, and the variety of architecturally interesting spaces kept me inspired the entire day through. Well done, Tourists!

Been trying to stay here for years. UT finally snagged a room (suite) which luckily lived up to our expectations! Every detail was clean and clean lines and good smelling. 😉 we enjoyed eating at the restaurant which was dark, but accommodating to dietary preferences and our young child. The room had cute extras. The trails were fun with sculpture surprises. The lobby bar had a cozy vibe!

I wish I could give this place a hundred stars. I didn’t know what to expect upon arriving - I knew it had good reviews and I loved the photos of it, but would it be too cheesy? Nope, this place is perfect. The staff are kind, welcoming, and helpful. It was so peaceful and relaxing. There’s a calming and lovely and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere everywhere on the property: from the lobby/lodge to the rooms to the pool to the walking trails. The music that plays from the speaker is perfect - props to the person who curates that. I could have stayed for an entire week and not left the property because I loved it so much. It being dog friendly was the cherry on top. I will be back many times, and will definitely stay for longer in the future!

My husband, toddler, and I recently stayed here for 4 nights and this special place has become a favorite of ours. The whole property is beautiful, relaxing, and peaceful. Everything is so well designed, with lots of thoughtful touches throughout that elevated the entire experience. The staff was awesome and welcoming. It was great in particular for us as parents as the rooms were spacious (we stayed in a canopy), our toddler loved the pool and the grounds, and everything on the property was a short walk from each other. We just felt so relaxed the entire time, and we definitely plan on coming back. Overall, Tourists somehow stands out from other design hotels by getting the vibe just right and feeling unique without being contrived or cringey in any way.

I love this place. Just got back from 2 glorious days sitting poolside and I haven't been that relaxed in a very long time. I don't know what it is about this place but every time I have visited, I sleep better, longer and more soundly than anywhere else. They are dog friendly but everyone w dogs was very respectful and I didn't see any off leash (which is a pet peeve since my dog is not great when strange dogs come running up to her). It was quiet so she has happy and relaxed the whole time. Just go visit TOURISTS already. You'll love it too.

We had a great time at our recent stay. All of the staff was super friendly and accommodating. We brought our dog with us and to say this place is dog friendly is an understatement. Shout out to Melanie for for making our stay extra special!

The service is so responsive here. The rooms are immaculate.
Lots going on from pop up restaurant to yoga in forest to art classes. Definitely coming back.

Great experience. Well worth the money, the room we wanted wasn’t available so we were upgraded for free! Very friendly staff and great music, fun concepts (such as the hotel radio), good pool and private outside showers. Like a motel but premium and close to nature! Close to MassMOCA (but not really walkable distance.) Thank you everyone at Tourists! ❤

Just stopped in on a whim. We were treated like guests and had a wonderful experience. Definite stop next time passing through.

We had an amazing stay here!! Prices can be a bit high but we did go during the summer which are peak prices. Their rooms were very well maintained and so beautifully decorated with a touch of nature. You’re so close to the water and a beautiful bridge you can walk across. We didn’t use the pool but if you have kids that’s a bonus and they’re pet friendly so there were many dogs around. The ambiance mixed with nature was nothing I’ve ever felt at a hotel before! We will for sure be back sometime so we can keep exploring Massachusetts!❤

Me and my wife stayed here to watch the peak foliage this past weekend (3 nights). Very cool rooms, and very friendly staff. And if you have a dog, this place is for you. Very accommodating. Very cool main Lodge. Our favorite feature was the bespoke radio station playing in each room. Just for TOURISTS. They offer lots of cool little events as well. We'll definitely be coming back.

I love this place so much! Have stayed here twice and will 100% be going back. The rooms are spacious, clean, and minimal but very thoughtful. Also great lighting. Very quick response whenever we texted them for drinks, food, ect. The food was fresh and delicious. Extra points for them asking you to make reservations for the pool so it was never over crowded. The staff was just so friendly and loved my puppy. 10/10

We loved our week-long stay at Tourists. Staff is friendly and the whole place has a very relaxed, low-key community/family-type vibe. The services were prompt and courteous, food was excellent, and the setting offers more than you would think in the way of fun hiking and walking trails, outdoor artwork, live music on the deck, and local flavor. The rooms are carefully designed to be pleasingly modest and functional, calm and modern. We recommend the Canopy rooms, with their private decks in the treetops facing the river. It's located between 2 interesting small towns with fantastic art museums and good restaurants, beautiful scenic drives and great walking and hiking. And we LOVED the varied clientele--from families with dogs to young couples, and groups of friends. Truly welcoming. We'll be back!

This spot was a surprise. I saw it had good reviews so made a point of taking my family there for dinner while we were in the area. We had an amazing dinner outside…great view, the perfect Berkshire evening—with lightning bugs too, and the food was awesome. I’ve told probably told at least 10 people in the last few weeks since being there to go. Btw—as a pilot, it is also walking distance to the local airport, so I will be back!

Eat drink play hike explore learn, this place has it all. The hotel itself is a work of art, in case you came to see art. Welcoming staff and flawless execution. Come visit and stay for a long weekend anytime of year. Try the candle making! We’ll be back!

We stayed following Labor Day and had such a nice time! Even before we checked in we got a thorough email from Tourists outline their protocols, amenities, food options, and events while we were there. Tourists has the option to check in remotely, but we arrived a bit early and were able to check in at the main lodge.

We had the Rambler room which was further from the main deck and facing the woods. Each room has a deck off the back of the room with two lounge chairs. We really enjoyed them during our stay. We were also able to take advantage of the pool at the end of the season. I recommend making reservations if you are there during pool season. The cocktails and snacks were really good.

One tip we wish we knew before planning our trip: I recommend visiting during Thursday - Sunday as that is when the restaurant at Tourists is open and also the other area restaurants are open. Most places are closed Monday - Wednesday so we weren’t able to try out the food in the area. Aside from that, we had a really great trip! Highly recommend staying at Tourists. We look forward to coming back during the winter.

Amazing hidden gem. To take the concept of a basic roadside motel and create an experience out of it. All motels should take note and do all of this now. Great food. Great staff. Dog friendly. Lovely pool. Great drinks. Ask for Alex (Aussie!), she’s the best.

Favorite home away from home. Excellent dining and activities on site, close to Mass Moca, pet friendly. The chillest pool vibes. Cycling nearby Mt Greylock was super fun. Love you guys and thanks for all you do!

A really lovely place to stay. Great setting and location to explore the area. The rooms are extremely comfortable, with many thoughtful touches both in-room and around the property. The staff are fantastic and clearly care about their guests' experience. The restaurant quality food was a delight, and the bar tenders know how to mix a good drink. Like everything else at Tourists, their covid adaptations are carefully thought out and impressively well executed (even going so far as to install independent HVAC for every room!). Highly recommended for a fun long weekend adventure!
