If they are not known for their bloody marry's then they should be. I believe the owner (female) made it for me. Enter it into a competition. Pricey place but it is the cape so I expected it. I'd say average for the area. Pretty generous portions of foo, we ordered crab cakes, steamers and a giant lobster roll. The giant lobster roll was just a basic new england hot dog roll overly, over filled with lobster meat, but it was delicious. The crab cakes aren't your typical crab cakes. Maybe baked In a muffin top pan, but they are good. They had a good ratio of crab to mixture, not gene9but good amount. The steamers were little necks, also good, served with butter and Broth. It was recommended by some locals....

You’ve got to know what you’re looking for with a place like this. It’s a hole in the wall with 2 servers usually they also tend bar. There are 2 medium sized tv’s up in the corners of the restaurant and often they play jaws or baseball. I think they have 4 beers on tap. BUT the food is good/great depending on the item - and they treat everyone like an old friend. We love it here but it’s not trying to be fine dining or impress your hard to please uncle. Family of 4 can easily eat for $65-$85.

One of the BEST lobster rolls this summer so far in Cape. Interior is deceiving but food is amazing! Fresh and done right with the bun. Comfy and not crowded, come hide in bliss. This place is a GEM. Drinks , no list but they can make anything. If you havnt been here, come in and order food still made with love and care, un tainted by the rush of the season. Finally.

If you are craving a lobster roll, this may be the place! A pound of lobster on a toasted hot dog roll. Lobster has light mayo and no fillers. Couple of premium cocktails, Perfect!

I had an absolute delicious dinner. The scallops were delicious and so sweet. The server was so attentive. Next time done the Cape I would definitely go back!!

This place will surprise you! The food is so delicious classic cape cod. It’s a cute local spot with fantastic survivors especially Leah! Thanks for the great experience. I recommend the clam chowder giant Lobster roll an a Margarita!

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. We ordered New England Clam Chowder and Lobster Rolls. The chowder was the best I’ve ever tasted. The Lobster Rolls were huge and fabulous. We even stopped back the next day for take out orders to bring back home to Boston. If you want to eat at a casual friendly place with outstanding food this is this is the restaurant.

A small tragedy this place has only 4.1 stars as of now. The quahogs are phenomenal. It's an old school joint, frequented by an older crowd. You're not going there for the decor/ambiance. Great food. Clam cakes were great as well, came with a really fabulous dressing. Lobster roll was massive. Could be nice if they toasted that bun and threw some chives on.

Really tasty, had the Lobster Roll mixed it with the coleslaw it was so good.

We had their Lobster roll, it was very good. More lobster than bread and that's a good thing. We like this place as soon as we walked in. We always like finding a restaurant that isn't a chain franchise but a restaurant where the locals go. This is one of those spots.

The best steamers on the Cape - sweet and not sandy. And the absolute best lobster rolls. Delicious fish and melt in your mouth sirloin tips. Come here if you want very fresh not fried food and great value. We go often.

We absolutely love the Wooden Shoe and have been coming here for years! The best place in town to get a seafood dinner. Lobsters, steamers, scallops.. all fresh and cooked to perfection. Their lobster bisque and clam chowder are some of the best I've had as well. It's a must when we're here in the summer and we have a lot of fond family memories that include the Wooden Shoe! Definitely recommended.

What a great place. I go in with my boyfriend frequently and we love the food. Ceasar salad, scallops, steak tips, never mind the lobster roll - the best! Cozy feel, great conversation, just good people. If you want that cape cod feel don't miss this cape cod gem!

After a miserable time at "The Squire," we headed over to a hidden gem we knew about from visiting the Cape for the past 27 years.

We sat down with the intention of 1 beer and 1 shot.

We odered a round of shots and beers for our group of 7. Since there were only 2 people hanging at the bar, we offereded them a shot as well. (1 of the 2 agreed). After a brief introduction and handshake.. we were all having a good time. We finished our drinks and was notified by the bartender that the couple at the bar had bought our beers. 🍻
My kind of place.

The "Shoe" is my go to place for steak tips. Cooked perfectly with a great marinade & a healthy serving as well. Their cocktails are reasonably priced & a nice place to meet great people!
