A Village Florist

We haven't lived on Cape for almost 30 years, but knew of A Village Florist from family and friends.

We walked into the nicely laid out shop and spoke with Joan and Laura about floral arrangements for my mother's funeral. We briefly discussed options and my mother's favorite flowers. They indicated they would check with the church to see if they would still have the flowers from Easter on the alter, and would coordinate with the funeral home to get the flowers to them the morning of the funeral. We chose to go with colorful flower arrangements to coordinate with the Easter flowers that would still be at the church and to celebrate the love and life of my mother.

A family member contacted them the following week to also purchase an arrangement for the funeral. They indicated that they were doing the flowers for the funeral and suggested a matching alter arrangement that would allow us to have one on either side of the urn pedestal. The arrangements came out amazing, blending in beautifully with the Easter flowers in the church. Unfortunately I didn't get the opportunity to get a picture of the arrangements on the alter, but a family member captured a picture of the cross arrangement in the entrance of the church and the arrangement surrounding the urn at the cemetery.

The attention to detail, freshness and quality of the flowers, and the communication with the church and funeral home was above and beyond what we expected. Everything went off without a hitch and it was such a stress free transaction during a difficult time.

We highly recommend A Village Florist for any event or special arrangement you may need. We will surely use them again.

The shop is laid out very well and I was able to look at all of the FRESH flowers in her coolers that would be used in our arrangements.

The florists here are so talented and kind. I don't live local anymore, but continue to call them for all my floral needs. They have arranged flowers for many occasions in my family - large arrangements for weddings and funerals and smaller arrangements for "just because", graduations, new babies, birthdays, and sympathy wishes. I highly recommend them!

AMAZING!!! As an estate manager, I've worked with florists on Cape Cod & NYC and I can say hands down this is the BEST experience I've had. This particular event was for my mother's funeral so it was of the upmost importance.

Blown away. Ordered online and in a few short hours the flowers had arrived to the recipient. I chose the Designer's Choice for $50 and I'm so overjoyed with the beautiful arrangement. Ordered an arrangement today and the staff went above and beyond to make sure it was delivered early so that the recipient would receive it. I will definitely be ordering from A Village Florist in the future!! And the arrangement was beautiful!!

I ordered flowers for a friend who lives in Sandwich and they turned out beautifully! Also my friend wasn't home and because of the heat the delivery person took them back to reschedule delivery. Thank goodness they didn't leave them in the heat or they would have been ruined! Joan let me know via email and they were delivered the next day without a hitch! I will totally use this florist again!
