Pilot House Restaurant and Lounge

Wonderful early evening dining experience with extended family celebrating several birthdays. Arrived at 6pm for our reservation and parking was a little tight BUT the table was ready and the atmosphere was nice. Nice view overlooking the Sandwich Marina and Cape Cod Canal. Staff was very attentive and responsive to different requests.

Everyone was able to find something on the menu even with 3 teens in our party of 11. Several seafood choices to prime rib along with some nice salads took care of everyone’s appetite. 👍🏻👍🏻

The Portuguese Stuffed Cod (Sherry scallop & chourico stuffing, lobster & corn newburg sauce, asparagus) was perfection. 💫

My friend had her Pilot House favorite - fish tacos. 🌮 which must be plentiful because she always only eats two and brings the third one home.

Drinks here are always great, I tried the new “Sandy Neck Sipper” … which was too good to just sip! A jalapeño infused tequila, real watermelon juice and more … with a chili pepper rim. (Pictured) ! It had a nice bit of heat to it , but it was also refreshing.

We are locals, and we always tend to sit at the bar, whether it’s the off-season or a busy summer. Although the outdoor bar and seating is great, overlooking the Marina, the indoor bar has a nice coastal atmosphere and positive and relaxing vibe. The handsome young bartenders obviously lend a hand to that awesome vibe … and they make very good drinks, are polite and attentive.

Definitely a place to try if you’re vacationing, looking for good food with a great atmosphere!

We enjoyed our Fabulous entrees of Surf and Turf. The turf was actually swordfish and of course the surf was lobster. The fish was cooked to perfection and served over green and white asparagus atop fingerling potatoes. Everything was tender. The sauce was slightly too salty for our taste though. The restaurant is light and airy and overlooks the harbor. The atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. They have ample seating inside in both tables and booths along with a large bar area. There is also a large grassy patio area. We enjoyed our visit.

Fun place with outdoor bars and tents. Live music and a beautiful sunset over the marina. Food was fantastic. I had The Seafood Pot Pie with puff pastry.

The service here was quick and organized. They have a great outdoor seating selection and great menu! They do a great job with all the seafood my wife and I tried. It was so good we came back the next day to have some more! Prices are reasonable and they also have a good selection of drinks. Will come back!!

Our first time here. Very nice quiet atmosphere. We opted to eat inside but outside was very popular and had a nice view of the bay. Our server Shaun was attentive and very pleasant. Nice choices on the menu. Food came out in a timely manner and everyone enjoyed their meals. Worth a trip to this little gem.

Delicious meal! Great little pit stop on our way onto the cape. Drinks were good, food was excellent!

Love this place. I even eat here with my friends and the ceiling fans here are really great. I do enjoy putting these ceiling fans on my YouTube channel at this place. Besides the fans, I enjoy the food here and the live music during the summer.

My second time here!! I ordered the same seafood pot pie and it’s amazing as always! The hoisin salmon is really really good / I highly recommend to everyone!! The service is good and nice view.

Great lunch today with scenic views of the canal. The atmosphere is quite pleasant. Our server, Kristen was very good. There apparently is a great chef here because the food is delicious! My wife and I each had the grilled swordfish and they worked some magic on it because it was so flavorful. Glad we stopped in for lunch and we'll be coming back and bringing friends.

We sat outside with nice views of the canal. Madeline was a wonderful attentive server. The baked scallops and beef tips were delicious. We also enjoyed the cheesecake and Boston cream pie.

The blackened scallops were unreal. So good, we ate outside and loved the experience. I ordered the caesar salad with scallops for my entrée and was blown away. Will be going back.

What a wonderful restaurant. Our server, Iona, was perfect! Attentive but not overbearing. Very knowledgeable, answered questions about food. Knew the menu. Food was outstanding. Glad we decided to try this.

One of the prettiest places we ate at near Cape cod. We were seated at the lawn with a pretty view of the river and our servers were super nice. Great spread of seafood and every dish was spot on! Ended up ordering more than we wanted to and left with our tummies full and happy! Highly highly recommend their seafood pot pie. It was a dream!

Visited Pilot House Restaurant and enjoyed the visit! They offer great food (I recommend the seafood pot pie and the crab cake appetizer). The service was very good, atmosphere is casual but a little on the loud side, so not intimate quiet, but that's okay! They have live music and offer plenty of free parking. Aside from food, the bar staff offer any libation you may desire. Lastly, there is a nice view of the Cape Cod Canal.
Pilot House is great if you're in the area and want a great meal. Prices are a touch above average, but then again the quality merits this...

Oh my Goodness!!!! The food at the pilot house was phenomenal, this will definitely be our must do spot whenever we're on the cape.

I got the Crab Cake BLT, super tasty. My GF got the pot pie because she was intrigued by it. It's didn't disappoint. The creaminess is much like a clam chowder consistency. Everything was delicious definitely recommend!

Dinner here in a group. Menu selection was nicely varied. Wait staff was not incredibly friendly, helpful or attentive. No one offered me a water refill or second cocktail.
The raw oysters and seafood pot pie were absolutely delicious!
Cocktails outside at the bar were enjoyed at the fire pit.
Comfortable atmosphere.
