Oliver's & Planck's Tavern

Every facet of the experience at Oliver's was fantastic! The waitress was suburb at her job. The hot food was hot and the cold food cold. I'd credit the waitress and chef working together on that. We were never left wondering where the waitress was. She was attentive without hovering. I had the fish and chips plate. It may be the best I've ever had. It was a long and thick, fresh fillet. The breading was light and did not affect the fish flavor or texture. It was cooked flakey and moist. The tarter sauce was a nice complement with great flavor. To put this review in context, I'm a native Cape Codder who loves seafood.
The tavern is large enough that the bar can be roudy, while the booths were quiet. The lighting was bright enough to read menus while low enough for atmosphere.

Fun place. Staff was excellent. Food was outstanding. We ate in a booth around the big bar area so it was lively. There is quieter seating available. We ate early so we missed the live band that was just setting up. btw, the chowder is even better than Capt P's and it come included as a side dish!!!!!

Great place! Never knew it existed I will definitely be back there a plenty of room for seating for larger parties. Large selection of menu and great prices.

Great food! Their Lazy Man’s Pye was just amazing, it had the perfect amount of lobster and creamy texture. We also tried their Broiled Seafood Platter, fried Calamari and a wood fired pizza. I thought the drinks were just okay, but 5 stars for their food! The lady who took our orders was very friendly and helpful.

I had a filling yummy lunch of chicken tenders and fries here one afternoon during a recent vacation and my server, Jenn, was a sweetheart! I also treated myself to a hot fudge sundae and it did not disappoint! Great food and service, loved the interior setting with the lighting, artwork on the walls, and more all made for quite the treat!

We visited on the off-season, and Oliver's & Planck's Tavern was really good! The wait wasn't long, and the prices were reasonable. The service was very fast and the staff very friendly and attentive. I wish there were a few more vegetarian options, though. I ordered the vegetarian pizza that had spinach, eggplant, sun-dried tomatoes, asiago and parmesan cheese, and my friend had the salmon. I would definitely return!

Love this place for good drinks and good food. Not too fancy and not too pricey. Great staff that bends over backwards to take care of you.

Manager Abby worked with me to plan a lunch to honor our brother after a memorial service in Yarmouthport.

We had about 40 guests and offered a limited pub menu as well as beer and wine.

Our guests had a great time and Morgan and manager Denise worked hard to serve all the guests.

I’d never been to Oliver’s before but I’ll certainly return to enjoy the friendly atmosphere and good food.

Delish, delish, delish! Best seafood I have ever tasted. Wow. Speechless. Casual, fun, lively, and cool live music to brighten up your afternoon by Yarmouth Port! This is a total local hotspot! A *yes* from me! *Note: I usually am not at all a fan of fried food appetizers, so take it from me. The ones I tried here (pictured below) = Worth it.

We had such a great time, the food and service was top notch. The drinks were fantastic, our calamari app was gobbled up in minutes. Our entire table was raving about the chowder and broccoli cheddar soups and our seafood platters were seasoned to perfection. Samatha was wonderful, very patient and accomodating. This was the best dining experience we had on our trip. Thank you so much we'll be back again!

Amazing experience all thanks to Jenny D! Have not been since the remodel and I will definitely be returning / recommending. Jenny was extremely accommodating from the moment we walked in which is definitely why my boyfriend and I had such a great experience. Jenny had great recommendations for the food and told us everything we needed to know about the dishes. The food was delicious! As a former restaurant manager I would want Jenny on my staff !! You can tell when someone is just working or someone who loves their job / who they work for is working. That was Jenny ! Thank you again.

First time going there,wr did a pick up order.ive worked in the food industry for 30 years im very observant and extremely picky,well just walking in to pick up order i notice how packed they were ,how promt service was ,and HOW CLEAN THE PLACE WAS def will be going back for in house service ,this place was so inviting def making this my go to spot

Cape cod is a great place to vacation. This place is classy, but cheap enough. The wait staff was wonderful. The food was phenomenal.

Been a local my whole life. Finally got to try this place out. I WILL BE BACK!! The food was absolutely incredible. Not to mention the service from beginning to end was impeccable. Our server Morgan was absolutely amazing and her bubbly personality was absolutely infectious. She made our visit that much more enjoyable. Can’t wait to go again soon!

All seafood is great.

Not going to lie. Our service was not great. HOWEVER. They made it right. Was very friendly and apologetic. Food was delicious when it finally came out. I think our server was just overwhelmed as they were short staffed. We all have bad days. We will definitely be back soon. Outdoor bar/seating was good.

We went back to the Cape and decided to give Oliver’s another try considering their amazing reviews. They were awesome. Everyone was so kind and the food was excellent. We got wraps and quesadillas and all delicious. Best fries ever! We must have gone on an off day before. Thank you Oliver’s!

Let me preface by saying our waitress was amazing. So kind, so sweet! However, me and my 2 friends can confidently say we all had the worst meals of our lives. I got a taco salad and it was filled with huge, uncut pieces of lettuce and dry chicken. My friend got a veggie wrap and it was also just filled with lettuce. My other friend paid $24 for a shrimp salad and it came 4 unseasoned shrimps. I cannot believe we wasted $100 there. Worst food we’ve ever had.

We had a fantastic family dinner here. Food was great, drinks were yummy (I recommend the Hughes Who, I don't normally choose a gin drink but dang, light and fresh!). We sat outside, which was fun. And Heather, our server, was so amazing!

4 of us had lunch there for a going away party. 2 of us ordered from the regular menu
& 2 from the special menu. Everything was awesome. Plus a lg order of onion rings that were fantastic. It's right down Rt 6-A from where we live and we will be back.

This place was really nice. Everything was cooked well, and the pricing was accurate for what you received. It felt a little dated but I didn't pick it looking to be trendy! Funny, I was reading other reviews and had concerns over the French fries, but the fries were phenomenal. In fact, my only food related complaint was the kids Mac and cheese was a little dry. But I bet that's how most of the kids like it; my kid thinks she's Gorda Ramsey...

I'd definitely recommend and return in the future.
