Bonsall Park South

Definitely home to quite a few transients... The only bathrooms are acrossed the street but honestly I would rather pee on myself than use them.. ud probably get a free high though, if that's what ur after lol.. this is ur park.. godd fishing though.. I rarely have to fight for a spot 😂

Very well maintained. The park is much like I remembered it when I took my daughter there 20+ years ago.

My kids love it. One is 4 years old and the other is 13 years old

Decent pond/park...I didn't come for fishing, but saw others out fishing. Nice little walking trail, lots of pigeons lol.

Park is beautiful, lake is awesome, facilities are excellent and the fishing is fun. The transients are all over the place like rats and have their tents and shopping carts all over the place; I watched one group huff spray paint, while another took a dump in a bucket - during the day! All this while people continually approached the nicest Nissan Maxima in the parking lot for 30 seconds at a time. Would not take kids here nor would I come here unarmed.

Now, just because I liked it don't mean you should go there. To be honest, if you never been there, you may want to take advantage of the concealed carry laws in the state because if you have anything valuable then this is the park to get ya stuff stolen at. People watching might get you in some trouble. I'm not sure if all the homeless have encampments here because it's across from the des office or what but its definitely full of it's fair share of interesting people. Oh and people have absolutely no problem using foil to smoke a blue. If your not sure what that is then just go here to fish or take pics or what ever ya business be and leave. Sooo yea. Thats my review. I won't tell what took place while I was there more then Ive already said because, well, sometimes the guilty parties aren't the bad guys.

I have memories here. I think its sad that you cant bbq at this park. The city has t as ken out benches and tables. It makes families stay away but homeless still ayay
