To learn about black artist and black history as well. The artwork is very, very interesting. Especially, this statue of a bird with hands for wings. Some pix. Sorry folks, just not a photographer ☹☹

Great history lessons. Gift shop had great books and gifts. Very informative on African Americans of the past. Meeting the artists gave the group the opportunity to ask about their creativity.

African American presence during the earliest years & their contributions to the Island as well as the indigenous Indians who lived on the Island as well as Cap Cod & their relations with the Pilgrims who came on the Mayflower.
