First campground experience, and it was a blast! Everyone was spaced pretty well. It didn't feel like you were on top of the campers next to you, at least for the tent only sites. Convenience store located on site and reasonably priced for most things - the smores ingredients were the most expensive, sadly. Easy walk to get a view of the canyon and plenty of bathrooms all around. Would definitely visit again when it isn't quite so cold at night. Highly recommend!

Another very nicely serviced campground with general store where you can find everything you need for camping and cooking. North Rim is more “wild” than touristy South Rim so it’s more quiet. Campsite comes with parking space, fire pit, picnic table and place for tent. Awesome!

We spent a great 3-days on the Grand Canyon’s North Rim. The campground is pleasant and in surprisingly good shape for the amount of use it gets. The camp store is well stocked, and this is important, the campground’s FULL SERVICE gas station is regulated by NPS so gas prices are reasonable [$4.35] (unlike at Jacob Lake! [$6.00]). Make sure you bring leveling blocks for your vehicle if you’re sleeping in a RV, camper, trailer, or van as most parking spots are on a soft slope. Campsites are pleasantly distanced from each other, and the restrooms were clean, and in some cases, newly remodeled! Well worth the extra miles to get to!

My partner and I stayed two nights here. First night we reserved online, which was easy to do. We stayed had a nice campground. It was so beautiful there we decided to stay a 2nd night if the campground had availability. We lucked up and they had a cancellation. So we packed up our tent and moved to another site right on the edge of the canyon!!! It was beautiful and breathtaking!! Staff was super friendly and helpful!! Can't wait to go back!! Pictures don't do it justice!! #newtandwags #webroadcastlove #jilliannewton

Nice clean campground. Only $18 per night. Has showers (6 quarters), laundromat, restrooms. Located about .6 miles walk or .9 miles drive from NR trailhead.

We loved this campground. The weather didn't love us but it was a great stay. The campground wasn't crowded and it was really quiet. The camp host comes around frequently. They take great care of the camp. The bathrooms were always spotless. Unfortunately the showers and laundry were closed when we were there so I can't comment on them. There are plenty of water spigot for you. The grocery store and gift shop are perfect for the camp. You can get food there and use their microwave and enjoy your meal on the deck outside the store. We grabbed sodas from the fountain. A little pricey but nice to have available. We were tent camping with a cargo trailer towed behind.

Quiet spacious sites with a great spot for my tent. Easy 4-5 miles of hiking in the immediate area featuring spectacular views. Great spot close for watching the sunset.

Had a great experience during our one night stay at the North Rim Campground. The bathrooms were really clean and very nice compared to a lot of the other national park campground bathrooms I have seen in the past. The location is superb and I would HIGHLY recommend staying here compared to outside of the park. They did warn of bees, however, we did NOT have an issue with bees at all. They had a little store with pretty much anything you could need.

Spent 3 nights and was very happy. Campground was very clean and bathrooms well maintained. A Camp host was always available and they were visible throughout the grounds during the day. Camp store well stocked! The only bummer is that their ice delivery for the week didn't make it so we had to drive out to DeMotte to get ice daily. While it wasn't planned, it provided the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the North Rim even more.

Amazing views from a beautiful campground. The North Rim is far superior to the South Rim. There is a lodge nearby with breathtaking views (be sure to make reservations well in advance), and the campsite even has a gas station and general store on site. You're roughing it, but it's not very rough.

One of the best campgrounds we have been to across 44 US states. Can't wait to come back.

Beautiful campground right along the rim in the pines. The lodge has excellent dining options. Camp store is convenient. So much LESS CROWDED than the south rim and NOT HOT in the summer due to the altitude. Also the north rim is the only part of the Grand Canyon with a MTB trail. Enjoyed 20 miles of the Rainbow rim trail on our bikes. Saw remote parts of the canyon
Never saw one other person in the middle of August.

The most spectacular location for a campground I have ever been to! We slept 100 yards from the rim! Decent facilities and great location to visitors center and the Royal Drive around the rim. Far less people than the South Rim, and you get a higher vantage point to see the Canyon. HIGHLY recommended! Public Service Announcement: please know that no other camper wants to hear your stupid music playing (unless you are playing quietly for yourself), especially in a national park setting. If you found this review helpful or informative, please leave a "like."

Beautiful location, spacious sites and walking distance via trail to the north rim and lodge.
Super clean as were the flush toilets.

Must see! So different from the South Rim. Trails, camping, cabins and motel. General store and gas station (Sinclair) with full service! Lodge dinners exceptional but must have advance reservations for dinners. Also serves breakfast and lunch. Deli in the pines has sandwiches, pizza, and more. Breakfast burritos at Saloon but get there early (by 6am) as they quickly rub out of burritos. They are that good.

Gorgeous campground! The facilities were immaculate and it is was walking distance to the edge of the north rim of the Grand Canyon. They also have a full service gas station. Our camp host was amazing and made sure we were all set with our camp site. The gas station attendant was also very friendly. For the most part, the campground was quiet. This is one of my favorite NPS campgrounds.

The North Rim Campground is at the very end of a long road that starts in the middle of no where. If you want to get away from it all, this is about the best place in the US to do it. Because it is so far away from everywhere, there are very few people coming for the day, the campground is small and there is a small lodge nearby. The camp grocery store is not only the best stocked I've seen, the prices were equivalent of a discount grocery store. Unlike most of the west, there are no bears around so you don't have the usually hassle of hiding your food. The tent spots are spread out well so you are not having to hear your neighbors conversations. It is a short walk to great views and hikes. There are many other areas to see the canyon that are a short drive. Stay at least 3 nights, 5 are better. Get your reservations as far in advance as you can.

It was a bit of a drive to get there but we'll worth it. The camp sites are set up nice with easy access. There are plenty of restrooms close by from ever site. They had running water but no hot water. There was also a utility sink at each restroom for cleaning dishes. Fresh water spigots are also plentiful. There was a shower and laundry building along side the main entrance, however it was not open when we visited in July 2021. The store that was close to the campground was open and was fully stocked with lots of tall trees all over the campground.
