Grandma's Homemade Ice Cream

A very good place to visit on a hot summer day. Place is extremely clean and well decorated. Terrible location though. They need a sign on the main road. Great ice cream. Will definitely be back.

Phenominal service, grandma was a DOLL and so sweet! She greeted our puppy as well and he enjoyed the best bacon dairy free ice cream cone that a pup could ever dream of! Highly recommend going here!

Really wanted to try the bourbon ice cream BUT the uniform i was wearing probably wouldn't have been a good choice. The PB flavor was amazing. The coffee chip amazing, cookie monster GUESS WHAT amazing!!! The staff was also amazing. Great place

We went on a bourbon tour and was searching the area for dessert and ended up here. I got the banana and coffee crunch and it was seriously some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had! Plan on retuning in a few weeks for dinner and I will definitely visit grandma’s again. Also the young man working on Friday August 11th around 3:00 was a sweetheart!! He let us sample and was very friendly! 10/10 recommend.

First prices are very reasonable especially being all home made. I had the bourbon icecream in a waffle bowl. The icecream was perfectly balanced, waffle bowl was the best! My grandson son ate all his superman icecream with no complaints. Definitely be my icecream shoppe when visiting family

Went to Bardstown for the first time to visit the distilleries and was told to try out Grandma's ice cream by one of the guests at Heaven Hill. I sampled about 3 flavors and I bought the root beer bourbon. The best ice cream I've had in a long time!! The ice cream was not too sweet, the flavors were subtle and it was creamy and delicious. The owner was very charming and very creative and talked to us about her unique flavors. If you are in Bardstown stop at Gradma's after your bourbon sampling for some really really great ice cream!!
