Cafe Primo

Lunch at Cafe Primo did not disappoint. This picture is leftover pizza that I ate cold the next day! Fabulous Primo Pizza! The service was excellent and I recommend everyone give it a try when in Bardstown. I can’t wait to go back.

We stopped in between tours to grab a pizza. We called ahead and it was hot and ready. We got a large pepperoni pizza and it was delicious!!! The pastas looked amazing too. We will definitely come back to try more next time:)

The food was wonderful. The staff was friendly and attentive. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a genuine Italian meal - time to leave Olive Garden behind, folks.

We ate dinner here on 10/07/23. We shared the Mediterranean pasta and a house salad. Food was delicious. They do charge for a shared plate. Staff was friendly. Wait was short. Shortly after we arrived the place was packed. The kitchen managed to get the food out in a timely manner. The servers were all friendly and willing to help each other out. Drinks were filled promptly. Restaurant was clean. They do offer a military discount.

We walked here from our BnB for a very casual, grab a pie kind of dinner. The dining room was full, but we got a table outside. Some would take off a star because the waitresses were busy, but I'm not. We got a margherita pizza and Pinot. The pizza crust was perfect, crispy outside, soft/chewy inside. Sauce had great flavor. Very authentic! I would definitely get another pizza here the next time I'm in town.

Super good pasta! Such a good sauce. The sun dried tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms, and grilled chicken hit the spot. The waitresses were sweet and brought us lots of refills.

We showed up for lunch on a Saturday, had no idea what to expect, the place was packed. We were promptly seated and attended to. We then realized there were only two waitresses for the entire restaurant, however our service was excellent and we wanted for nothing. The pasta is the jewel of this place, the pizza is great but the pasta is absolutely the best I've ever tasted. Perfect evening date spot, nestled amongst the shops downtown. Our new go to place in Btown, highly recommend giving it a try.

The Pizza is one of best I have ever had anywhere. Really good selection and fun service especially for a small place. Nice people, reasonably priced, wonderful food.

If you're in Bardstown or nearby, make sure to visit Primo Cafe. No exaggerating: the pizza Margherita was the closest I've had to a Neapolitan pizza (which I've been lucky to taste) and the Spaghetti dish with the meat sauce was light and tasty. Try the Tiramisu, too: very good. The other great thing about the restaurant was the service: fast, efficient and authentically friendly. It's a small restaurant so make sure to reserve a table, because you don't want to miss the experience!

This is a small town feel area in the heart of downtown! The service was quick and polite and the food was phenomenal!!! We ordered several different items on the menu, including two desserts and they were all very good and hot!! I absolutely love their pizza

No better pizza exists in the vicinity of several hundred miles. Most mid-western pizzas are too heavy and too greasy. Not Cafe Primo’s. Their pizza is light but tasty, which is extremely hard to do. Even before the first bite, you can tell it is made with care and quality ingredients. If you like real Brooklyn pizza you will love Primo's. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The owners Damir and Maja go out of their way to accommodate your request. Highly recommended.

Delicious food! They are understaffed, but the waitresses tried their best to keep up. Our Caesar Salad and bread were fabulous. Our pasta was one of the best that I have had in a restaurant. Don't be fooled by the humble surroundings, this place is a real gem.

Primo primo pizza was primo! Very good. Can’t say enough. We were waited on very well, but we were the only ones there. Lol. Pizza was fresh, crust crisp and fluffy.

This is the best pizza I’ve ever had in the state of Kentucky. HIGHLY recommend. Eat here!!

Very nice relaxed place, server very attentive. The food was out of this world. And we all sat and talked forever. My mother's birthday is next week and I'll be back in FL so we, my aunt, daughter, mom and myself, celebrated today.

This THE place for pizza and pasta...and if you're lucky enough to get your hands on this pizza (Primo Primo) but with the focaccia dough...wow!

The dough was light, perfect amount of sauce, and with their special touch of love, spice and everything nice, this pizza will absolutely rock your world.

If you don't stop in, you're missing out, if you do stop in, let them know you read this review and I promise you won't be let down.

Hopping place. High priced pizza for dinner, no personal or medium sizes. Beautiful salad. Great wait staff, and full bar.
