Berea College Farm Store

This place is absolutely wonderful. We stopped in to get a quick lunch and everything was perfect. I've not had spanikopita this delicious in years! The soup and salad were both fresh and incredibly flavorful. We will definitely be returning!

I love all the food that is made here! Everything is made from scratch and is fresh. I just wish there was recipies for all their food. I would buy that book so fast! Student workers are always polite and appreciate yoyr business. Will return again.

Fabulous!!! My friend I arrived around 1:30 & they were still serving a great choice of lunch items. I ordered a hummus & fresh vegetable wrap and my friend had the wonderful soup with a turkey & pesto mayo wrap with fresh lettuce. We also shared a giant piece of Neapolitan fresh baked cake. I also ordered the last colossal blueberry scone. Today was Tomale Tuesday but we didn't know it....maybe next time. A beautifully clean facility with smiling & friendly faces. We will return soon! Everything was delicious and quality servings for the price.

One of the best places to eat in Berea, and you can buy fresh produce and meats from the Berea College Farm! If you haven't been, you should definitely go!

Great fresh food and service!

Everything about this place is just wonderful. From the experience it gives the students, to the services it provides to the community. I would love it if it were open when we come to town to visit family on Sundays, but we understand that everyone needs a break. Probably only get here once a month now, but we will keep coming back again and again. My daughter gets most of her fresh dairy there, which is top notch. Thank you for doing what you do!

I love going to the farm store! The staff are always very friendly, and there's always variety in the food and it's always amazing! I guess I don't buy groceries they're very much, but I could. I mostly go there to meet with students involved in my ministry over a meal.

Awesome place to get a Sammy or snack....but also to pick up some free range eggs and meat! Reasonable prices too! Local honey is yummy ....and good for ya.

Everything I have purchased has been absolutely amazing!. One you you go BC bacon, you can never go back. I'm not a fan of bread. BUT the baguette & sweet flower butter is delicious. The staff are always so friendly and helpful.

Tamale Tuesday is a huge hit with locals and college students. The cost for homemade, locally sourced food was phenomenal. $5 for 2 good sized tamales.

I got the vegetarian bean cheese and veggies. Absolutely delicious! They also gave sample of homemade rye bread that smacked.

I just moved to Berea from another town in central Kentucky. Being in the agriculture and local food business for many years, I was anxious about the local food assets of my new town. I placed my first order at BCFS on Sunday and picked it up on Wednesday. Everyone with whom I spoke and interacted at BCFS were just wonderful, from the person who confirmed my order by phone to the two students who brought it to my vehicle. I'm very familiar with the local food systems of communities throughout the country, and I can say with certainty that BCFS is one of the strongest local food community assets anywhere in the US. EVERYTHING I ordered was of the highest quality, from the meats, eggs and cheese to the prepared foods like the curry chicken salad, the fresh-baked sandwich bread (OMG!), the savory Danish I ate on the way from the store to my house, and the amazing creation called a Cruffin (a croissant and a muffin had an offspring), a word I'm most happy to add to my vocabulary. If you live in or near Berea, the BCFS, Happy Meadow Health Food Store and the Berea Farmer's markets have EVERYTHING one needs, and the highest quality across the board. Spend your money at these places, and you'll never need to patronize a publicly traded grocery corporation again!

Local humanely raised meats from the college farm, lots of value added products from local sources, and a decent selection of organic produce from both the college gardens and outside the region. We always enjoy stopping in and meeting the friendly staff and students.

Really appreciate the great meals, bread and meats! Lots of other great treats as well. Veggies fine too we just grow too much to buy very often.

Good tasty food for limited hours. Some seasonal vegetables and meat are available. Hope they can update the seasonal selections online.

I've never been disappointed with their lunch offerings! Surprisingly affordable options, with a rotating menu and seasonal specials. Delicious baked goods.

This is a GREAT place! Friendly staff and excellent choices. I will definitely be shopping there again soon.

I had pulled pork at the farm store today. I usually throw the bread away when I purchase a pulled pork sandwich. Typically the bread is tasteless. However the buns at the farm store were nearly as good as the pulled pork. I also bought a pint of potato soup with a quart of flavor. The kind of soup you eat slowly, and savor without distraction.

amazing selection of quality food. one could easily find all foods needed in life at this store. great fresh and cheap snacks to eat while you shop!

For a small store they did have a very good selection of meats and baked goods.
Very nice employees and customers.
