Super 8 by Wyndham Eddyville/Kuttawa

Great overnight where amenities aren't necessary (no pool, smaller room size). Appreciate sink separate from toilet/shower room. Noted it was within walking distance of both fast-food and sit-down restaurants and summer-only water park. One of the better value hotels we've used.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable room. Mine was a handicapped room and while I am not in a wheelchair anyone who is would really appreciate the care given. My balance is an issue and the tub bars were perfect.

We had severe weather this evening and our shelter closed because everyone thought it was over. We headed home and got a tornado warning for our home. We turned around and came to super 8 (we spent last Friday night here when the last storm hit) and the wonderful gentleman at the desk let us come and wait it out in the lobby with our baby and older daughter. It meana so much that he let us do this to help keep our family safe. Thank you sir, so much!!!

I've stayed in more expensive hotels for less amenities than Super 8 provided. We had all we need--a clean and spacious room, great AC, toiletries, a comfortable bed, microwave, fridge and good TV. The location is super close to the water park, dollar general, food store, restaurants and even a nearby park to walk and visit at. My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you for providing such a nice stay! We will definitely be back on our next trip :)

We stayed in 8 different hotels over the course of our travel and this was the best one, by far. Clean, friendly staff, nice patio, everything we were looking for and more!

Pros: Clean, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, quiet location, HD TV with hundreds of satellite channels, excellent cell phone reception, excellent price and Wyndham rewards points.

Cons: The battery in the smoke detector was low, causing the dreaded "chirp" every two minutes. However, the front desk attendant promptly replaced it for me upon request.

Overall, 5 stars. Hope to stay there again.

They allow pets for a fee. Have our 2 cats with us. Never traveled with animals. So I was expecting the worse with a pet room. But it's quiet, the room is super clean, no odors or anything. Definitely will stop here if we ever come through again.

Our stay here was excellent, the room was clean and at a comfortable tempuature. The breakfast wasn't the best, but it was perfectly passable. Check in and check out were easy. The only negatives were that it was noisey, there are pets here and the AC was a little too loud for my husband. But other than that I had a great time

Major upgrade from previous property owners. Close to everything in lakes area. Very helpful staff with a clean newly remodeled rooms at a modest price. The complementary breakfast has many options and pets are allowed for an additional deposit in specified rooms.

Extremely polite and helpful staff. I was able to make some adjustments to my advance booking without penalty. Rooms are newly renovated and exceeded my expectations. Close to restaurants and grocery and water park. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved my stay here! Was clean EVERYDAY! Staff was kind and friendly. Awesome, REAL breakfast every morning! Many Stores and multiple choice on places to eat, all nearby and easy access. Loved the area, lots to do and see. Going to be my place to stay when visiting Ky.!

Extremely clean. My husband & I just stayed there this weekend. The owners & his staff were very friendly. And wanted to make sure we had everything we needed & were happy. Quiet & very peaceful stay. Very good rate. Good breakfast. Will deffinately be coming lots of weekends this Summer for our fishing trips.

Room was great - newly renovated; location was close to Venture River. Free breakfast (but not healthy!) Would stay again. 🙂

Front desk lady was so sweet, I wish that I would have gotten her name. Loved her. Nice clean spotless rooms. Very quiet. Great breakfast.

We were very pleased with prices and cleanliness. We only didn't like that we hadn't made sure our room had a bathtub to soak my legs at night when they hurt. Next time we will. We will stay again!!

The front desk clerk was very helpful and very nice. The room was very nice and clean. The beds are very comfortable.

Very clean, no fuss... the management was kind and courteous; the breakfast bar consists of cereal, waffles, juice, milk and coffee.

My husband and I like staying here. The breakfast is hit or miss. But you can literally walk out the door to either McDonald's, Dollar General or a grocery store for snacks
