A very beautiful, clean and safe city. Friendly locals and lots to do.

Be careful parking though - not from petty thefts but from the City's way overzealous parking enforcment. Victoria budgets for tens of millions of dolllars each year from parking fines and will ticket you for everything from being an inch into a yellow curb area to turning your wheels into the curb when the street is "level".

Great place. It rains half as much here in Victoria as it does in Vancouver, plus it's much cleaner.
