The Cabin Whiskey & Grill

The Cabin Whiskey and Grill is located in the Park West complex in Peoria, right off of the 101 and Northern. Inside the cabin theme is all throughout the restaurant. You're greeted by a standing grizzly and walls of wood. A large bar is the centerpiece with pine trees painted all around, and a stack of cut firewood sits to the side. Outside has another bar as the center with tables and high tops all around the spacious patio.

Being a whiskey lover in a whiskey bar, I ordered the blackberry sour and was not disappointed. (It's the closest drink I've found to my favorite Sinatra Smash that serves as the featured drink of the Wynn in Vegas). We shared the torpedos as our app. They are jalapeno poppers but made with the full pepper and come with a spicy dippng ranch. My fish tacos were very good, and the nachos were topped with perfectly grilled flavorful chicken.

It's a cool spot for a larger group. It's always a plus for us when the kids have room to move so the adults can enjoy some beverages and conversation. I suggest sunset on the patio with family and friends.

Everything is amazing about this place. Took some out of town friends here and they loved it so much. They went back for a second time with other friends! Highly recommend the chicken strip board. I really think it feeds eight people instead of 4 to 6 . There's so much and it was such a great deal. Also, the bacon cheese fries were so good! Definitely don't skip on this restaurant!

Our wine club celebrated a friend's birthday here, the wine was good, drinks great, food & appetizers great and plentiful. Fun place for a few people or a large group of people

My first time eating here. I ordered the Carne asada ranchero and my bf ordered the Chicken and waffles. We were not disappointed at all. We’ll definitely come here again. Our plan was to go to Hash kitchen but it was too packed. Came here and I’m glad we did. Tory’s service was great. And my mimosa flight was delicious 😋… after we walked to a tent event they had outside, loved it.

Indoor/ outdoor seating with great music. Great lunch, we had burgers to perfection. Smoked old fashioned's were great. Friendly staff.

Our first time here, the server was extremely nice and very attentive. The atmosphere is wonderful, perfect place for the whole family or just to grab a bite to eat during lunch. I’d definitely go back! 5/5.

Our server Sierra was awesome! Being a pup friendly patio restaurant, she immediately brought lil man a bowl of water with our drinks. Food was great, and was served to us quickly! Check out their daily specials, and happy hour times/menu, lots of great deals!

The Cabin was really nice! We loved the dog friendly outdoor patio, it was spacious, clean and they have misters for the hot summer days. Service was okay, a little slow but that’s okay. I know restaurants are short staffed sometimes and the waitress was very friendly! Food was DELICIOUS! We ordered the bagel sliders, hot wings, torpedoes (brisket stuffed jalapeños) and the American breakfast and all of it was really good. Can’t wait to try more of the menu! We’ll definitely be back !

Great atmosphere the food came to us quickly, fresh, and hot. The quality was outstanding. The servers and staff was very friendly.. we went on a Friday and they had a live band. The volume was not overpowering so you could still have great conversation. A very relaxing atmosphere. The prices were very reasonable. This is now a place I will return to a lot.

Enjoyed an evening here last night, the service was great, just ordered nacho fires but they were good. Large patio with seating and bar outside. They have space heaters. And that was welcome as it became cooler and breezy.

The staff was very attentive from the moment I walked in. I ordered one of their specialty drinks, which was excellent.
For food, I got the torpedos appetizer, which was good, but there was some spice that was missing (I can’t put my finger on what) that would have taken it to the next level.
For my main dish, I ordered the Mac and cheese. It was really good, but I felt it could have used more breadcrumbs.
But these are both nit-picky for overall good food.
It also just had a really cool feel to the place. I can definitely see myself coming back for trivia (Thursday nights) or to just watch some sports and have an adult beverage or two.

It's such a fun , cool place. Very chill atmosphere. Very clean and well layer out.

I got the chicken salad sandwich. It was huge, and they had some really good ranch. Lol, my husband got the brisk tacos. He was fond of the rice or beans but said the tacos were super delicious.

It has been a while since the wife and i went there but the service was amazing! The food and drinks as well! We got the Nashville Chicken sandwich and a steak. Both flavorful and delicious. The drinks tasted great as we sipped on the Old Fashioned and Cosmos. Overall had a great time!

The service was good, we weren't left hungry or thirsty. The food was really good but the kicker was the cocktails. They were awesome. Great price for everything and good quality

It was my first time there. I LOVE this place!!!!! The rustic interior was so cool! They have the best onion rings I've ever had, and the sweet potato fries were the bomb! The pulled pork sandwich was delicious and so were the fish tacos. Our server Mike was a super cool guy and did an amazing job. All around, it was a great experience. I will definitely be going back!!!

We were part of a motorcycle club having a brunch meeting. The service was great especially since there were 40+ people. It was very organized and most of the food came out at the same time.

We had an exemplary time with the family! The price was decent and the times had were golden. Thank you for the greatest meal I've had since 2019!!!! Best edit: greatest burger of 2022!!! Exemplary staff and great food. My family had a great time!

Neat place... Cool atmosphere, food was good with large portions, beer was cold and the staff was great... love the patio so you can bring your pup with you. We will be back, too many options on the menu not to try... Thanks guys!

Great food and drinks. The smoked old fashioned is AMAZING. if you have ever seen it and wanted to go, like me. I would highly recommend it
