Schroeder Park

I love this park, it has something for everyone:
paved trails,
1 basketball court,
2 volleyball courts,
4 pickleball courts,
2 tennis courts,
2 baseball fields,
Enough space to play soccer,
A good size playground,
5 picnic shelters
And there's a big area with pools and slides open during the summer for a small fee.

Schroeder Park is a such a peaceful place to take a walk, or let the kids get some energy out on the nice playground. There is a disc golf course, a pool for swimming with the family, even amazing sand volleyball courts! So many activities to choose from!

We went to Tons of Trucks and then the playground. We really enjoyed it. Very nice playground that is still in the older style. Cool log cabin and picnic area. Plenty of room to run! Nicely kept and clean.

A group plays Mah Jongg in the park building most Mondays, fall-spring. The large room is light and airy and overlooks woods and the playground. Staff is very accommodating by setting up the space for our use.

I'm very grateful to the organizers of the e-waste recycling program. I had a long wait to drop off due to the huge turnout, but the folks running the flow are truly remarkable.

Schroeder Park hosted the Manchester Days Homecoming, September 2022.
Such a nice Park and great venue to host events for the community.

This is the best park in Manchester. They have a lot of open space in the park, a large playground, the aquatics center, and picnic space. They also have events that are fun to go to as well through the year.

Had a family gathering under the large pavilion and it was a wonderful evening, nice staff as well. Vitamin c entertainment dj service and event lighting.

Fun slides for the kids who were all running and playing together. The pavilions were nice and would be great for a party/gathering

This park has a lot of facilities for adults and kids. The adult can easily supervise their kids while walking in this park. The kid's play area has two swings, a Merry-Go-Round, one big and two small slides for toddlers, a small treadmill for kids, a dinosaur toy for kids, and picnic areas.
The restrooms are well-maintained at this park. Most importantly the play area is covered by tree shadows so the kids can play anytime.

Great relaxing park with fresh air and good green area.

18 holes disc golf. Hilly and nicely managed. No ponds or lakes

Great local park. Paths for walking, skating and riding bikes. Playground areas for all ages. Plenty of picnic tables and covered areas for a few...or large groups. Water park. Tennis courts. Historic buildings and features.

A good place for kids and family to get together.

4th of July music was great, but the fireworks were spectacular! Way to go Manchester, you did an outstanding event for 2021!!!

The swimming area is good for all ages and very large to accommodate even busy summer days. The playground is massive, well kept and has lot of interesting features.

Beautiful and well maintained park. Attended a Rockin Chair concert. Nice natural amphitheater.

This park has something for everyone to enjoy about it. There is a nice playground for the kids to enjoy. There is a water park for summertime enjoyment. There are multiple covered pavilions with lights and picnic tables, including one used for small concert events. There are tennis courts, basketball courts, and sand volleyball with lighting to allow use the entire time the park is open. In the back, there is a vary large flat field with a walking path around it for various group activities. There is plenty of parking spread out across the park to accommodate several activities at once and still have be relatively close. It is keep very clean. Make sure you put your reservations in early, as this place is used frequently. Also, keep a watch on the website for all the various activities that get hosted here like festivals, concerts, movies, craft shows, fireworks, and more.
