Enjoyed a birthday celebration here...and, it was just perfect! Food was delicious, and exquisite service. Very upscale dining. Really appreciated the Chef was able to accommodate our vegan guest. They made a wonderful vegan dish as a special request. Looking forward to another visit!

Out of all the Jeff Ruby restaurants, The Precinct is hands down my favorite of the bunch. From the cozy atmosphere, to the history of the building, to the great location. This place truly has it all. I recommend the Caesar salad, the Delmonico (16 Oz boneless ribeye) as well as the maple smoked old fashioned. A must visit if you are in Cincinnati.

We celebrated Valentine's Day at the Precint and had a wonderful, private and romantic experience. Nice low red lighting in a beautiful old vine covered building that used to be the police precint. We started with Blue Crab Bisque, and the Merry Mint Colada cocktail which I reccomend for any colada fans. My entre was the barrel cut filet with "Collinsworth" topping. My lovely Selina had the Lobster Gnocchi which is heavy and tasty but very bacon forward. I loved the Collinsworth style which is Red King Crab meat badically oscar style but also a nice brown sauce under the meat. We will be back and I will try the creole sauce. Our dessert was the table side flambeed Baked Alaska. Attaching some photos. We valet parked right at the building for just $5. Lovely experience and service.

Really enjoyed my time there on New Year’s Eve to New Year’s. We had an awesome server, I believe his name was Matt. The food was good as usual, and they even provided champagne at midnight.

Very good food and service. It was our 1st time here. Steaks were amazing and well cooked. We also got the Mac and Cheese..very good. We will be back.

Anyone from the Cincinnati area probably knows about Jeff Ruby's. Its one of the best steakhouses in the country. The Precinct has special character being a former Police station and a super cool vibe. The restaurant is very good, service is always spot on and the food is ridiculous. Its not for the budget minded dinner but its very worth it. I've been going to Jeff Ruby's for around 15 years and I've never once been disappointed. Enjoy

We went to the precinct this Sunday with 17 people for my birthday& anniversary! Everything was perfect and a great way to spend our day with the people we love! It was a first time for most of the people who dined with us & they all loved it! Thank you to our server anthony who has served me on multiple occasions, we will always come back and request him for his great service!

My first visit yesterday with my love. I was blown away by the service, the food, and the experience. Brandon was our server and he was absolutely amazing. He made me feel like a princess. We had the steak Collinsworth which was so tender, it could be cut with a butter knife. I cannot wait to go back again.

I held a work meeting in the "Owner's Room" on Monday night, and all of my out of town guests were impressed with the food and service. In fact, several said that The Precinct served them the best steaks that they'd every had! As always, the service was top notch. Paul did an excellent job leading the service team, Jen was great to work with in regards to reserving the space, and Jordan Taylor is the best! Even the valet guys are super professional! We came for my dad's 80th birthday. Eileen did a great job explaining the menu and helping us decide on drinks. We ordered the a5 filet cut into 8 for our whole party to try. AMAZING! All of our steaks came out perfectly. The Mac n cheese was second to none. Eileen brought out an amazing birthday cake slice for my Dad and we all shared and loved it. Overall, the Precinct is an 11 out of 10! Can't wait to come back!!

We had such a lovely evening here. Angelo provided top notch service to us and was extremely attentive. We appreciated his genuine recommendations and kind personality. We were celebrating an occasion and he went out of his way to make our guests of honor feel special. The food was phenomenal as always, but service always makes the experience memorable. The food was beyond excellent in both temperature and flavor. The service in everything from the Valet to the Host/Hostess to the table Captain to Servers was magnificent. Everyone with whom we engaged was friendly, courteous and helpful. Our entire party of seven had a very enjoyable experience.

Cincinnati's gourmet steak place!
Located in a historic Hannaford building with beautiful stained glass. This Jeff Ruby location has been open since 1981. While you wait to be seated be sure to look at the framed pictures on the wall.

Food, service and wine list is top notch. Don't forget to visit the restroom.

The Steak Collinsworth was so delicious. The Lobster Mac was another favorite but it's not always available.

For starters, I love the nods to local sports at all of the Jeff Ruby's locations. They name menu items after sports greats; I came on game day and there was lots of Bengals pride on display too. They have an excellent cocktail menu, making it hard to decide! I loved the espresso martini I settled on -- darker than average with a nice punch of citrus, unique from others I've had. The next thing I love is that sides are included with all entrees, which most fine steakhouses don't do. The wedge salad was amazing and enough to fill me up by itself if I didn't take some to-go. You get a thick, smoky cut of bacon and some great blue cheese dressing. On to the steak: Steak Burrow had a super flavorful crust. If I'm nitpicking, it was a smidge less tender than I'd like, but the delicious crawfish juices it was swimming in made up for it. You can tell thought and effort goes into everything they serve here. Nothing is wasted.. even the bread and spreads were excellent and memorable. Service was good and it's a cool date night vibe with super comfortable seating. I'd say Jeff Ruby's is worthy of all the local fame it gets!

Came here for my anniversary with my husband, loved the service, and loved the food. DEFINITELY worth the price.

Jeff Ruby restaurants are an experience in food, service and atmosphere like no other. They set the bar on striving to achieve excellence and because we are all human and mistakes happen they do everything in their power to not only correct the error but to make every part of the experience that much better.

Every one of Jeff Ruby's locations you can expect nothing short of a 6 star restaurant on a 5 star scale but to be fair it is worth visiting each location. Every location has it's own subtle character that is worth experiencing.

Very accommodating staff, delicious food and pleasant experience. The venue is historical and vintage. Service was excellent and we were even given a dessert on the house. I see now why we had to make reservations in advance.

Twelve of us celebrated my Mother's 80th birthday at the Precinct, her favorite restaurant. As always, food was incredible and the wait staff didn't miss a beat. We could not have a had a better experience. Thank you. It was absolutely perfect.
