Black Bear Diner

First time @ Black Bear Diner & we were very pleased with our visit. The server, Julia, was exceptional & had a perfect balance of attentiveness. The food was delightfully prepared & was delivered to the table hot & fresh. We had the tri-tip dip & the chicken bacon ranch wrap. Both were well prepared & very tasty. The fries were seasoned perfectly & some of the better fries we've had in a diner. The atmosphere is cute, woodsy, kinda kitschy & fun, but don't let that detract from the spectacular comfort style food that is super delicious & well portioned. We will definitely be going back to try the breakfast (served all day) & some of the other delectable looking menu items. Well done, Black Bear Diner...well done! 🐻

We went there for breakfast (my wife and I). I had the Shasta Scramble and a Waffle. My wife ordered a waffle and bacon. All was cooked to absolute perfection. I wanted the set of their hot sauce so I asked our waitress (Julia) who went out of her way to check on this for me. They were out and will order for me. Julia is one of the best servers I have ever had. Very attentive and she makes sure the customer's order is exactly right! She deserves a raise!

This is my favorite restaurant! I love the food and service.(FYI: What I spent includes a 25% tip on the grand total)

I've eaten here a few times and it's been a fantastic experience each time.

Houston was our server, who was very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend requesting him for someone that shows passion for his work.

The food is delicious of course. You wanna go back in time when home cooking restaurants were actually good? I've tried their tri-tip steak and country fried steak. Both were big in portions and cooked to perfection. Their redskin mashed potatoes are homemade and fantastic. My wife tried their open face turkey sandwich smothered in Turkey gravy, and it made me a little jealous that I didn't order that instead. 😂

Atmosphere is modern rustic cabin style. Very homey and wholesome.

Will be a regular, for sure. Glad to see they finally put a restaurant in this location worth it's salt.

I love the bear decor, the food is amazing, and the service is awesome. Tried the biscuits and gravy. Wow! So big! Also got a coconut pie to go that was absolutely amazing.

Dined here twice in the last 2 weeks. Breakfasts, burger, salad, salmon... It has all been fantastic. Servers have been great also. Months of driving by it, thinking I'd like to try it. Only regret is not stopping sooner.

Lucas was an awesome server, the food was great, cooked to perfection, quick service and quick greeting as we walked in. The portions are huge and the food is good. Prices are decent. Good job black bear diner.

I had the best experience at Black Bear with my family! Our server, Maggie, was exceptional! She was so kind and took our orders in a timely manner. Along with her great service, the food is amazing! The wait staff is exceptional and so is the food. The prices are in line with other restaurants but a better value at this establishment. If you’re looking for a great place to eat, try Black Bear Diner, you won't be disappointed.

Amazing atmosphere, came in on a busy Saturday morning and had a minimal wait. Our server was Maggie, she was extremely charismatic and attentive. The restaurant had a home style vibe and made all my troubles go away. I enjoyed some of the best waffles I’ve ever come across. 10/10 will be coming back to this establishment.

The food was hot and fresh! Despite this being an old Applebees, this establishment was fun and just what we were looking for on a Sunday morning breakfast date. Ethan was our server and he was AMAZING! They were able to make accommodations to our meals due to food allergies without any pushback and that made us enjoy the experience even more. Portions were “bear sized” (loved this phrase that Ethan used!) and well worth it for the price. Can’t wait to come back!

I should have taken a picture of our omelette before we devoured it. Joe’s Hobo omelette was perfect and the strip hash browns unlike any we’ve had: some crispy, some soft. All delicious.

I love coming to Black Bear Diner! The food was very good and the atmosphere was very comfortable. The most impressive thing about my visit was the service! My server Maggie was absolutely amazing and I would go back just so she could be my server again!! Great worker and amazing girl.

It's nice to see how much this place has improved! The service here is excellent, I've had various servers in the many times I've visited this establishment - a very noteworthy one being Blanca, I've had her a few times and she always seems to go above and beyond for not just me but all of her tables that I've seen. Another one I've had in the past was Anai who seemed to serve the bar area all the while kicking butt in the window, she got food out for her own guests and every other guest in the restaurant.

The food here is hot and delicious with proportions way bigger than your stomach, that a to-go box might just be a must. Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and desert, this place is bound to have something you'll enjoy. Additionally, the atmosphere is too adorable with all the bear-themed décor and gift shop items from the softest plushies to the warmest hoodies and the cutest little stickers and accessories.

We had a hearty breakfast, perfectly cooked. It was delicious! Our server, Jamie, was very friendly, attentive, and paid attention to details. Our overall experience was great...highly recommend the Diner.

Just passing through from our trip to Minnesota. So happy my husband found this place. Loved the food... Huge servings... All good no complaints. Wishing we had a black bear diner in Texas.

I went tonight to just get out of the house, have a good burger and do some writing. My burger was the best I’ve had in a long time. Possibly the best I’ve ever had. I have to give credit for that to my server, Lucas, who was very attentive and helpful. And was a tremendous help to me being indecisive on what I wanted to eat. He also was able to read the room. It was night, so he didn’t come in with a ton of energy, but a lot more lax and chill which was appropriate for the time. And I appreciated that.
Great service and great food, no complaints. Black Bear has always been a favorite, but I felt like it had gone a little down this past year. I’m glad to see things back on track for them and to have such a kind team of servers, including the lady who checked me out. Happy to know I’ll be getting to visit one of my favorite restaurants in Fayetteville a lot more. Thank you guys for such a wonderful experience, keep up the great work!

10/10 experience!! I am not one to leave reviews but simply had to after eating at Black Bear Diner. The food was delicious and the service was phenomenal. Our server (Maggie) was awesome! So kind and attentive. Definitely will be returning!!!!!
