Country Pride

We almost didn't go because of the negative reviews, but this place is awesome. The food is delicious. The staff is friendly & helpful. The wait time for your food is not long.The biscuits & gravy are the best. It looks like the restaurant has been recently remodeled.

First time visiting and I absolutely would recommend it to anyone who stops by as a trucker or traveling family,etc. I know I went on a Sunday but service was very fast and the food was ON POINT!! I'm marking this down as a favorite so when I drive through again, I know where I van get an awesome meal.

The food here has so much flavor!! Best porkchop I've ever had!! Great customer service by Jina!! Will definitely be back!

This country Pride has renewed my faith in this restaurant! Yes they only have one cook and one waitress but Jennifer was the best server I have encountered in a long time! Friendly, polite, professional and informative of the menu. The cook has also done a fantastic job. We had the Goulash and Fried chicken. Very highly recommend. The garlic bread was the best I’ve had in a while!

I was met with a smile from Ms Tiffany and my server Ms Jennifer was very polite and professional.
Their customers seemed to know them and all I can say is there seems to be a joyful strike in the way they serve their customers and this sets the atmosphere to enjoy a good meal.
I had the ribeye dimmer medium rare and it was both fresh and cooked made to order.

Well on a normal day you normally get good service..However today 3 Sep 2019. I guess because of Hurricane Dorian we walked by the manager and a waitress. We sat at a table, waiting and waiting. The manager took a menu to a table and the waitress took a menu to a table. Waited a tad longer still not acknowledged. Walked pasted them on the way out still NO GREETING!!! 😥😫

Today 16 Sep 2019, We decided to give Country Pride another try. No Hurricane headed to Baldwin..Glad we did the ladies that are normally our servers where working. Kathleen & Mandy were working. They greeted us as soon as we walked in. Mandy working the counter and Kathleen the floor. Kathleen brought us our drink order and took our food order and in her cheerful manner told us to enjoy the salad bar. The soup and salad bar was fully stocked and all the food was great as normal. The manager even came by our table and spoke briefly. We will be back!!!😁😁

It's hard to believe that such good food can be found in a truck stop. The lasagna believe it or not is some of the best I've ever had. Sweet tea is always perfect. Manager has always gone out of his way to be kind and genuine about the service and food. Always happy to go there.

I am usually the first one to point out the negative things so this was a very positive experience instead.
The portions are smaller and the prices higher everywhere but it was plenty enough to be satisfied.
Hashbrowns with Philly-Omlette (added spinach and tomato) and 2 small pancakes with real butter and strawberry topping served by a very nice lady Jennifer. Keep it up😋😀

Country Pride, people, are top notch. Chris the cook came out and was asking each dinner how the food was and showed pride in his job.
Waitress was bouncing off the wall and was so darn friendly, yet I forgot to get her name (Sorry). She kept asking and obviously caring about our meals and you never had to ask for more drink.
She was equally friendly with each and every customer.
It's a very rare to see this in a business.
Note: The morning crew in the store could sure use the water that the Country Pride evening staff is drinking. ;-)

After being out of the dish that i wanted, i picked out something else from the menu. I was very limited to what i could eat because i had just broken three teeth the day before so i could only do soft foods and non-spicy that required very little chewing. The dish that i chose ended up being way too spicy. Both the manager and my waitress, Janet went above and beyond to make sure i was happy with what i ended up eating and then took my entire meal off the check. They had nothing but smiles and good attitude even though i felt like i was being a pain...... I have seen servers grumble about far-less. I love this little place and will continue to go back every time i drive through. They accommodated mysore broken mouth and for that they will have my business forever.

The waitress and other staff were excellent. They made you feel welcole and not a nuisance. It was a great experience

Nice, cenan, hot meal, fast service cheap..
I bought a lemon pepper grilled chicken,
It came with steamed broccoli and a toasted thick slice of bread..
Also, the right to get salad and soup from their clean salad bar.
People giving bad reviews here, why are you al so mad at life? Who have hurt you all like that?
No race issues.. I'm a dark, short, old Mexican and the waitress was cute, white, very nice, fast and polite..

Great food, great service, and great staff. The daily specials are excellent. We are repeat visitors and our favorite waitress always remembers my order.

Really good food worth stopping had the club sandwich and a santa fe salad to go and was worth the money more when you ate a truck driver and you are tired of junk food staff was really friendly

Mandy was our server and service was beyond our expectations .. Mandy knew the daily specials and what soup was the daily soup and it just made the overall ordering process great..our drinks came out fast she was just wonderful..also i donk know the guys name but he is a big guy..also very nice.. He checked on us and asked about the food..im sure hes a manager but also he was very nice to talk to...these people just whole Hartley seem like they really care and honestly want ro give the best they can...FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS ..THANK YOU

Stopped here for breakfast while traveling. The service was great and I paid $12 for so much delicious food that I ended up making 2 meals out of it.
