Somerset Preparatory Academy Charter School at North Lauderdale

Today I would like to recognize the guidance counselor, Ms. Jackson. I shared with her some of my concerns in regards to mental health, I was not worried, just wanted to bring it to her attention. Not only did she handle the concern I had, after speaking with my child, she made him feel as if she was concerned and allowed him to trust her enough to come if he needed her at anytime. This is what I call having an open door policy. She is remarkable and proved to me that especially during times like these, we need to make sure our village is readily available for our children today. Kudos go out to you Ms. Jackson and I respect you wholeheartedly for acting upon my concern in a timely manner. Keep up the great work and remember, it takes a village to raise our children and I am excited you are part of it.

I have attended Somerset North Lauderdale for 8 years and I absolutely loved it. The teachers care about their students and the lunch is now delicious!

I have 2 children who currently attend Somerset Prep and 2 more who will attend in the Fall. I love the Kinder-12th grade layout. All 4 of my children are in one location which makes for easy mornings! The children love knowing that a brother or sister is nearby. One of my children is Special Needs. It is great that he will have the same ESE Specialist and Counselor for his whole school experience, instead of having to adapt to new people at the change from elem to middle and middle to high. The Administration is very parent and child friendly and supportive.

Hi I go to the school sometimes we have a lot of fights in the schooland we always have code black code blue code red and all the stuff we go to recess at 12:30 and we have lunch at 10 some kindergarten have lunch at 10:30 even first-graders 2 and 3rd graders have looked at 10:40 and yeah I hope you guys love my school cuz it's fun something we have to be quiet in the cafeteria when we eat our breakfastso please give it five stars it is a good school now it changed so much

It is really good my kid loves the school on Sunday she can’t wait to go tomorrow I’m like you can wait another 24 hours she like no I need to go now
