Country Oaks Veterinary Clinic

This vet always takes such great care of my best friend. It’s not often you see a veterinarian office give your buddy the same concern and compassion as they would their own pet. Our best friend/baby is doing very well thanks to Country Oaks!

Kind, compassionate and knowledgeable team (Dr. Geschke, Jenna, front office staff) from who I have met and what I’ve experienced so far. They stay on top of everything and I feel comfortable bringing my little guy here. Highly recommend.

The most wonderful Vet I think I've ever met. The entire staff was kind and caring. I just rescued Tova my new pup the day before. He was a long term shelter dog.
Dr. Bishop and his nurse were so caring, thorough and knowledgeable .
When meeting Tova both Dr. Bishop and his nurse sat on the floor with him. You could see and feel the compassion they both had. Dr. Bishop examined Tova from head to toe and took his time, answering all my questions. Dr. Bishop also asked me questions and cared about what I had to say. He offered me great advice on home cooked dog food on which I prefer to do. I wish I had taken my sweet gentle giant that just passed to Dr. Bishop. I can guarantee the experience itself would have been completely different and my pup might still be here with me today.

They are great! Took my cat boy Devil Anse today to establish as a new patient and Dr. Laura Geschke is phenomenal she educated us and took great care of my baby, in fact all of the staff are so kind and welcoming compared to our last vet clinic. Definitely recommend. Dr. Laura Geschke listened to every concern myself and my husband had and explained everything! Jenna was so sweet as well and so kind to my Devil Anse and efficient.

The best veterinarians, as well as, the wonderful technicians, front desk specialists and scheduling customer service professionals. Always there to help with scheduling appointments especially in an emergency. Friendly staff and all at COVC truly care for your fur family member(s) providing excellent care conventional and holistic. Have been a client for my fur-family for over 7+ years and would not entrust my fur-family to anyone else. :-)

Our first visit to Country Oaks was to have our beloved Stella put down. From the beginning the staff was immensely compassionate, attentive and caring. They had a room ready immediately soothing music, informed us 100% on the process and gave us all the time we needed with our girl. The staff was beyond amazing!! We are so grateful to them.

Everyone is always extremely caring, proffesioanal and pleasant. Also, I had an emergency situation on a Friday afternoon. I called and within 30 minutes Dr. Bishop was taking care of my Norton. Love this place!

My husband & I are new to the area, as well as snowbirds. After being here for 6 weeks our beautiful Shih Tzu, Dante, who had Leukemia started suffering seizures.

Sadly, our vet up north said it was only going to get worse and to find someone here who would examine him and help us with next steps.

We searched online and found wonderful reviews on Country Oaks Veterinary. Every staff member at Country Oaks from the 1st phone call we made was extremely kind, compassionate, and respectful.

Dr. Bishop & Logan met with us and were wonderful with our Dante as if he'd been a long standing patient. Not at any point were we treated like outsiders, fly by patients, or an inconvenience taking time away from established patients.

Our decision to let Dante cross over the rainbow bridge was excruciating. But somehow at the same time, with Dr. Bishop & Logan by our sides, we felt comforted, respected, and grateful.

Although, our hearts are broken we know Dante is resting peacefully.

Thank you Country Oaks for taking such good care of us. Should we ever adopt a new fur baby we will be back to see you and will recommend your clinic wholeheartedly.

My dog is an 80 lb American Staffordshire. He has an intimidating look,however, he is super gentle. This was a new patient appointment with Dr. Laura Geschke. She was wonderful. From laying on the floor for his exam so he felt comfortable to her answering every question given. We would recommend this vet for anyone looking for knowledgeable, loving, gentle care. I am looking forward to our newfound relationship with the family dog doc.

They accommodated me for emergency visit. I didn't wait long in parking lot. My concerns about Tommy ( 4yr. old cavalier) were addressed by Dr. Fritz and Holly. Medication given me. Very nice employees. Country Oaks has been a great vet under Dr. RAMIREZ leadership for 8 yrs. for us. All the employees Super!. I highly recommend them.

Their staff are very caring, explaining in detail as needed and very understanding of us pet parents. I think they love our Devons ❤

Lilu loves Country Oaks Veterinary Clinic. She is treated like a queen.

They saved my dog’s life. He was having heart problems that I thought was just a cough. They stabilized him and directed us to the Ocala UF emergency vet clinic that opened at 5pm. UF had all of our info when we arrived and took Toby back. Immediately. By the next morning he was almost himself again. Thank you Country Oaks.

Easy online pre-check in. Was given an option of video chat (waiting in the car) or front porch exam (chose this one) due to COVID. Arrived and called to let them know we were there and were greeted by the tech in less than 10 minutes - she was super nice and explained everything thoroughly as we were a new patient. Took the dog inside for weighing, blood work, etc. Went to the front porch and in less than 10 minutes the tech and the vet were outside for the exam and vaccinations. Limited time with the vet but she was personable, good with the dog and answered all our questions. Was very pleased with the steps they took for COVID safety.

We visited Dr. Ramirez and liked her enough to go back and appoint her as our vet.

We moved here in 2019 permanently. We had a fabulous vet where we lived before. He wanted us to find the best care for our dog. We searched 9 vets. You were it hands down. As our Lab aged he had some major issues. Every vet in your practice saw him. Every staff member we dealt with as well as the Vets Top NOTCH! We were so blessed to have found you.

When our dog needed orthopedics and most people would have said put him to sleep we got an extra year with him. It was worth it!

We are so grateful for everything you did for O! He loved your office and all of you! Thank you! We now have his ashes and he will be at rest with us when that time comes.

Thank you for the care, kindness and compassion. As much as I would love another dog, O was perfection and no other dog will ever fill those four paws.

Called to have our 16 year old cat checked since he stopped eating or drinking, for four days he was hiding under furniture not being his normal loving self. The staff worked us in without an appointment and the Vet checked him out and recommended test needed to ascertain his situation. X-Ray revealed lots of fluid accumulation on the peritoneal cavity which was putting pressure on his organs . Our baby was put to sleep under very caring conditions, as sad as it was for us to go thru with the decision, the staff eased and comfort us all the way. Highly recommended this establishment. Amazing experience.
