Big Tex BBQ

Great food & great waitress. The restaurant is so cute and has a train car that you can eat in as well. They serve a lot of food, so go hungry. The barbecue was good and so fresh. Even fresh cut fries. We had Chicken, Beef and pork. The sides are all fresh and good. If you like cold beer they have drafts and bottles.
We enjoyed everything. A+++

Just found this restaurant and read the reviews decided to try it, we ordered the 5 meat’s combo with 3 sides, a huge sweet ice tea, and beer, add a salad in the bar.

The food is big for two as we just like to try it we didn’t finished all.

Sausage is juicy, pulled pork is great and the ribs, the chicken wasn’t that juicy and more reddish inside.

Mac and cheese is fine, upgrade the other side in the premium sides like sweet potatoes and onions rings which is great.

The lady served us was nice I didn’t take her name.

Place is not that busy on Saturday around 6:00pm

Bathroom was clean and nice

Parking we need to park at main road side street as most car in parking is huge.

Amazing place!!! The atmosphere and decor are awesome, I ate in the section that is a converted train car. So cool! The food portions are huge, I barely could eat half of it, so I have exciting leftovers. I got the combo with two big ribs and 4 huge slices of brisket. The pinto beans are the best I’ve had and the coleslaw is vinegar based, which I loved. Service was fantastic. The waitress talked me into getting two cookies and even warmed one up for me in the microwave for the road. Even the Texas-shaped sinks in the bathroom were part of the cool experience. I make a road trip through Willcox every month, I think I just found a spot to return to!

Went there for a late lunch. Was not disappointed! Greeted warmly by Felicia. Service was fantastic, prompt and accurate. We had a large group of 8 with zero complaints anywhere. Iced Teas were very large, beers came in 2 sizes 16 or 22. Menu was pretty diverse for a BBQ restaurant. Lots of options and sides. Brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, and Ribeye steak were all tried in the group. Not a miss anywhere. French Fries needed a little spicing up (little bland) but not bad by any means. Get the Mac and Cheese and Onion Rings for sides! Restaurant wasn’t busy when we went, food came out quick, place was clean and orderly. Bathrooms were clean and fun with Texas shaped sinks :)

My husband and I shared a one meat platter. The brisket was perfectly done, tasty without sauce. Our sides were pinto beans and fried okra. The beans were good, but even better with bbq sauce added. Fried okra was also good, and served with a dill sauce that improved them even more. Our waitress was excellent, but we didn't get the young woman's name. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, and the food came quicker than we expected. And the fact that we were in a repurchased railroad car made it cooler. And check out the bathroom sinks.

A very good, comfortable, and relaxing place to stop and eat during a long trip along Hwy 10 East, I loved all the rustic details of the restaurant, the delicious food, and excellent service

Great place to go and eat. We only get the chance to stop by here a few times a year, but we always look forward to stopping in. We were looking forward to having their famous BBQ Ribs, but unfortunately, we got there late 😫 on Saturday that they have running a special on the Ribs and were temporarily out of them for a few hours. We will definitely be back again!

We stop here to eat in Willcox TX. It’s a restaurant in a train car and they had a great selection of food. From BBQ ribs to salad bar.

What a fun place to stop! The food was good, but the Brisket was pretty average and a little on the dry side. Slicing it so thin I think made it dryer.
The best part was the waitress who gave us very specific directions on how to find the Sandhill Cranes! The crazy thing was they were out in a cornfield around 10 mils out of town and her directions were spot on! We never would have found them without her guidance! Much appreciated!

Excellent barbecue and service! We had the beef brisket, mac & cheese and sweet potato fries. The salad bar was fresh and had good options.
Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals. Good variety of food on the menu. Saw a pizza go by and it looked yummy!

Our 1st time here, food was aging. We had the 5 meat platter, and ribs were nice and tender as well as the brisket and pork. Hubby liked the sausage. Chicken was good also. We finished it with the apple pie ....The BEST we ever had. Go to this little place, you will not be disappointed !!

Very clean and a laid back atmosphere.
The food was great with good portions, and we had leftovers. About $15 per plate for large burger & a side. The TX shaped bathroom sinks were pretty cool! 😎

Original themed restaurant! Staff and server were friendly, quick and professional service! Decor is cool! It’s clean inside and out with plenty of parking! Easy to find! Burgers are good! Hot apple pie with ice cream hit the spot! Good food at a good price!

Absolutely hands down the best restaurant in Willcox, AZ!! The service is phenomenal!! The food is to die for!! And the prices are totally reasonalble!! The portion size is definitely more than you would expect for the price!! Was in Willcox for 4 days and we ate there 3 times. I am addicted! I would make a sole trip to Willcox (an hour and a half drive) just to eat there. It is an amazing place! The restaurant is super clean and just above all my expectations! We will be back!!

Loved the food, as this was some great BBQ at a great price. Very clean and “woody” ambiance. They seemed to have 88oz beers on the menu … if you dare! Great service as well. This is THE place to eat before you hit the town for wine tasting! Also, check out the crazy Texas sinks in the bathroom!

Great place to stop in when passing through town with both indoor and outdoor seating right in old town. Service and food was good. Ordered the half slab of baby back ribs and although they weren’t fall off the bone still pretty good. Pecan pie kind of left me a little disappointed though. I will be back the next time we pass through.

All I can say is delicious delicious delicious 😋 I was not expecting this level quality of BBQ in Willcox AZ. It was suuuuuper good. Mac n Cheese was on point, and the beef brisket had a nice bark ring that was packed full of flavors, and the inside melted 🫠 in your mouth. The service was excellent, the waitresses were super nice and the food was delivered quickly. I highly recommend stopping in and grabbing a bite to eat here. Try the fried pickles also!

Absolutely wonderful food, service and setting!!! So glad that Google suggested getting off the freeway for this superb restaurant. I'll be back!!!

The ribs were smoked to perfection! The sides were amazing, and the service was excellent.

I wanted BBQ, I wanted wings....
my wants were met in a satisfying manner. The fried creamy corn nuggets, a 1/2 order was still substantial, was just an added extra. And then I grabbed an itty bitty cheescake as I walked out the door.
