Hog Snappers (Tequesta)

We love Hogsnappers. It is our go to happy hour but tonight we had diner. Our favorite meal in Florida. Crab encrusted snapper on a bed of lobster mash potato’s over asparagus in a light cream sauce. It is phenomenal. This meal and it’s not cheap but so good is not to be missed. We also had the Sophie salad with shrimp on top another huge winner. The wait staff is great and the gm always comes by to check on your meal. Nice funky atmosphere but fantastic food. Forget 5 stars I would give it 10

Hog Snappers provided an excellent late dinner to us travelers recently. The menu and atmosphere are totally unique. The service is friendly and efficient.

This was my first time coming here but I'll definitely be coming back. Amy was my server and did an amazing job. She is very polite and continuously checked on me to see if I needed anything. I had the Sangria, ceviche and fried whole hogfish. All of which were amazing! Hogfish is my favorite fish but it's so hard to find. This is my new favorite spot in this area. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

Very much Caribbean flared restaurant with Latin fusion dishes! Such nice vibes ! Great radio station always playing - reggae mixed with top 40s(it seems ).
Happy hour is sweet - and I love their red sangrias! Absolutely love their spicy poke bowl! Fresh fish !

It was our first time here. We had the sashimi appetizer, then crunchy salmon and Kat spicy roll. The best sushi I've had in the jupiter and Tequesta area. We had 'zert dessert after. So good. Will be back.

Veronica and I, along with our trusted mascot 🐊Swampy, set out on a Friday for an adventure to Hog Snappers on U.S. Highway 1 in Tequesta, Florida. We started with some signature cocktails from their menu, which were very good and refreshing after a hot day in the Florida sun.

We had the Ceviche (Hog's Signature), which was bursting with flavor, featuring fresh seafood and greens—a true delight. The Crab Cake has to be one of the best, if not the best, we've ever had. Vic's dad is from Maryland, so that kind of compliment from him is saying a lot. The Crab Cake, served on a bed of coleslaw topped with corn, bacon, and other delightful seasonings, was out of this world. If you're looking for a great seafood place that is casual yet classy, Hog Snappers is the place to be. 🐊Swampy gives it 5 stars, and he will be back for more!

Hog Snappers was a great experience, I have been here a few times before. The location is unassuming, as it sits in the middle of a strip mall. The white lights they hung on the outside did a nice job of dressing it up and setting the mood for an evening meal, although we went for a late Sunday lunch the day of the AFC/NFC Championship games (NFL). When we arrived, they might have been at half occupancy, so we didn't have a wait (which was nice) but it quickly filled up. There was good diversity between the patrons as well. The service overall was great. We asked a lot of our waitress and she delivered. For starters (this rarely happens), we had to swap out a sweet tea (subpar flavor) and a coke (flat). We subbed those 2 out for a strawberry lemonade which was absolutely fantastic (5 out of 5). For our appetizers, we ordered the Crab Cake and the Lobster Bisque. While tasty, the primary meat in the Lobster Bisque was fish, however - the lobster was tough to find in it. For entrees, we had the Snapper Sandwich (asked to swap the cole slaw for lettuce), the Chef's Choice roll, and the Hogfish roll. The Snapper Sandwich was exceptionally dry, as they forgot to add the tartar sauce, and the spicy remoulade. Last, but not least, for dessert we ordered and devoured the Zert Roll (5 out of 5). It was unlike any other dessert we've ever had - I highly recommend you try it!

Literally one of my all time fav spots! I’ve always left here so happy and satisfied, their sushi and food is amazing! Their service is great, every staff members is happy to help and always has a smile on their face. Their restaurant and bathrooms are always clean, I’ve never had a bad dining experience here and I’ve been here a lot. It’s a true local hidden gem 😍 Do yourself a favor and make sure to dine here!

Took our out of town family to dinner at Hog Snapper which is one of our favorites. Being in South Fla during season , wait times are sometimes challenging . With the ability to be on a waitlist while enroute is a game changer as we were seated at the estimated time. The service was very good and the food fantastic . Shared some sushi rolls and most of our guests went with the fresh fish selections. Everyone enjoyed and had a wonderful evening . Hog Snapper is our go to restaurant !

Enjoyable laid back restaurant. Lucky we decided to try out, from the outside you wouldn’t know how good the food and service would be. The appetizer “U gotta try this” was very good for 5 of us very tasty and the Seared Black Pepper Ahi Tuna was nice. The ahi tuna and crunch roll entree was a large serving and flavorful. We will definitely be back when in town.

We are on vacation and this was our first night out to dinner, we enjoyed our experience.. Based on the storefront you wouldn’t expect what’s on the inside. It’s a bit of a tiki hut feel inside. The tuna and lobster tartare was excellent, and filled me up! My bf ordered the filet mignon which was very good, the wasabi potato was a nice touch. I ordered the strawberry margarita they have on the menu, I was not a fan because of the Smokey flavor, the bartender was very nice about it and made me something else. We ordered the sushi dessert to go which was amazing!! We Would go again.

This restaurant is well managed. The atmosphere was great.The people were wonderful. The food was delicious! We had a steam bucket. The flavor was to die for, but it was just a little overcooked. I'm a disabled veteran with a service animal. They handled it by the book. (ADA was practiced) I would definitely go back again.

What a place for fresh fish and sushi. Hog snappers brings you a wonderful experience inside of an unassuming exterior. A mixture of traditional fish, sushi, and some latin-food influence as well. We ended up ordering 7 different sushi rolls, and they decided to bring it out to us on the boat! It was all very good and we would definitely order again.

Great happy hour! Everything you see here and more was $50 during happy hour! Check out their menu item “you gotta try this.” (Second photo) Super tasty and it’s a fun environment. Staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was laid back. If you’re in the Jupiter/Tequesta area, I would definitely recommend.

My husband and I love this restaurant. We are here at least once a week. The food is always great. Most of the waitstaff are good servers. There is one manager by the name of Chris, who is an excellent hard worker. He is always helping out the wait staff and checking on the customers. He does a great job for this busy restaurant. They try to seat you in a timely manner, but sometimes that is out of their control. That is the price you pay for eating at a popular restaurant as Hog Snapper in Tequesta. Most of the service staff are friendly and attentive. It has wheel chair accessible. There is plenty of parking. The main is pretty big. It has something for just about anyone's food preferences but mostly seafood. They have two bars for those who just want a few cold alcoholic beverages. It is as well family oriented. It is casual attire. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who just likes great food

Not gourmet fine dining but very good seafood and sushi. Great HH. Mostly a friendly local crowd. Can be busy but it's worth the wait. I enjoy the Shack Shack, all fresh fried seafood, no fries or sides. Enough to feed two.

Wow! Looked up the menu and popped in during a mini- vacation to Jupiter. Staff was very attentive and kind. Food was creative and flavorful. Will be returning, soon. Pleasantly surprised. Glad we went early, happy hour menu is great. Can't wait to try more entrees. Bring a big appetite!

We were starving after walking a few miles along the beach and found this place along the way home. Menu looked great, but the food blew us away! Absolutely hands down the best fish tacos I've ever had anywhere, which is pretty amazing. Their homemade pies are DIVINE and the desert sushi is a MUST TRY. We are bookmarking this as a favorite and we eat out a lot, so definitely give them a try. Outstanding cocktails as well... if you love seafood, you're in for a treat. 😋

One of my favorite places. Not cheap but amazing quality. One of my favorites is the summer berry sushi bowl. So many good things here. Highly recommend
