I have business meetings over coffee. After a terrible experience at a coffee shop on Monmouth, Trailhead became an option. What a great place. Sure there’s the sidewalk window, it’s the cozy indoor seats that make it perfect for business
The great coffee and friendly folks means it’s a staple.

I got a bacon,egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and a 16oz iced Carmel macchiato. The 16oz is their large witch for me was great and the breakfast sandwich was on a sesame seed croissant and it was very delicious, they also have a window where you can sit and eat, order food and your drinks and just chill. I enjoyed the big window the most. Trailhead is apart of the bike shop and if you ride your bike up to the window and order like a drive-thru they will give you 25% off your order. Trailhead is on the side of the building so if you're looking for it go down 7th Street and right after the light you will see the window. Enjoy!!!!!!

This Coffee shop may be the best kept secret in Cincinnati. We walked up from the river to enjoy a cup of coffee here . It’s situated on a quaint little street that makes the atmosphere very comfortable. The Barista knew her way around one of the highest end coffee machines I have ever seen . The price was lower than the franchise coffee places. Come enjoy a cup here and see for yourself Trailhead Coffee is a great experience.

Trailhead is a fun place to grab coffee (inside or outside!) w/ the ability to poke around at the attached bike shop while you wait for your drink. The two baristas, Jane & Elliot, are both great people and make excellent coffee. For snacks, Trailhead has baked goods from North South Baking Co ranging from cookies to croissants as well as serves Marty’s Waffles. The baked goods are on rotation but usually offer a vegetarian or vegan option. Additionally, some syrups + flavors for drinks are made in-house which adds to a unique experience. Trailhead has become my preferred spot for espresso, mochas, and matcha specifically.

Accommodations: Menus are available in English and in Spanish and Jane has knowledge of ASL. The coffee bar is wheelchair accesible inside and outside (whereas part of the bike shop portion has a couple of step-up/downs).

Milks offered: whole, half/half, oat, macadamia

Parking: parking is free on both sides of 7th street which trailhead is located. There is also a free city lot located off of 7th behind the bike/coffee shop.

You can also bring your furry friend!

One of the best lattes I've ever had! The croissants were amazing, and they were super patient with my two-year-old who was not so patient waiting for that croissant!

Was walking the city with my dog Kali and came across this gem! The coffee is amazing and more importantly the staff was so welcoming and Kali even got a treat of her own. Now everytime we walk Newport she darts toward it lol. Highly recommend!

The attention to detail by the barista to the equipment and to the quality of the coffee being made makes this an amazing stop if you're looking for a good coffee.

That fact that it's at Northern Kentucky's premier bicycle outfitter is like beautiful latte art.

Trailhead has become a treat that I offer myself when I want a consistently excellent experience with a coffee beverage.

Great coffee, and the blueberry jam cruffin I got was delicious. They have a few small patio tables in the front for outdoor seating as well.

What a gem!

Quaint coffee bar inside a bike shop

When I'm working at my boutique across the street I always stop in Trailhead for a quick latte and sometimes yummy danish. The Baristas are excellent and kind! They welcome doges with a cup of whipped cream. Nice to have a one of a kind neighborhood coffeehouse. And the bikes...

Loved everything about this place!! The service was friendly and helpful, the environment eclectic and fun and the coffee was delicious!!! I loved that I had the option to have a latte with oat milk! And it was super yummy! Cannot wait to go back.

I love Trailhead Coffee. The baristas are all super friendly and you’ll see a lot of regulars during the morning. In the summer they have tables outside and it is very quaint and relaxing. The brewed coffee and specialty drinks themselves are delicious, and they carry pastries from North South Baking in Covington. What’s not to love?

Trailhead was such a great find on a wonderful trip! The barista was so friendly and helpful, and the coffee was delicious. The wildflower latte was unique and so tasty! Such a gem!

Awesome little walk up coffee window! I got an iced vanilla latte and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Go for the larger size or regret it like I did lol. Very nice staff as well!

The coffee and tea are excellent and the pastries are amazing - you'll love anything you get here! Wonderful service too. This is definitely my favorite coffee spot in Newport!

This place is super cute. It's tucked in the back of a bike shop in Newport and the barista really took pride in what she was doing and made a quality cup of coffee. There is a little seating around and some fun snacks/treats if you're hungry! The scones looked so delicious. I'll have to try one next time I'm there.

This coffee shop is perfect simplicity. No frills and a small menu lead to a pretty perfect cup of coffee. Located in the back of Reser bicycle it can be easy to miss, keep your eyes peeled they have their own entrance down a side street.

No need to learn any fancy names for coffee sizes here...they only come in one size! Let me recommend the grizzley. This place uses local made caramel and it adds just the right amount of sweetness. As a gal who doesn't love overly sweet coffee this was perfect for me!

This is the only place in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky that offers Wood Burl Coffee and let me tell you, you've got to try it- in the coffee game, it's kind of amazing. It's roasted locally in Dayton, Ohio and the flavors change seasonally...it's that good!
