Grato Italian Grill & Pizzeria

Wednesday night was busy which shows how good this place is. The food was delicious. Best Italian food I’ve had in a long time. Their garlic knots were out of this world. Highly recommend this place for a great meal and atmosphere.

My gf & I were blown away by how amazing everything was. When traveling we saw the pictures online of their pizzas & gave it a shot. The service was top notch. The food, while we didn't try anything super traditional, we got the meatloaves stromboli, the baked ziti, fried ravioli with vodka sauce & garlic knots. Everything was to die for. I wish we had been on vacation longer just to go back and eat more of their food. The atmosphere was wonderful with a very chic styling and old style music like Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and other more jazzy big band tunes playing. If you are within 25 miles of this place, make the trip! You will not be disappointed.

This place is a gem. First off, best pizza in LKM. Dallis is now #2. Secondly, their food is really good. Huge portions, cool atmosphere, and best yet: it's not crowded in here yet! Eventually people are going to figure it out and this place will be on a permanent waiting list. We ordered all the parms. Check out the pics!

We went to this restaurant because a fellow foodie recommended this place becouse it just open up so I said let's check it out!

Got around 3pm early just a couple of clients and friendly staff that said we could choose any table already ready a good sign. We then got our menu, been and Italian restaurant I asked my self were are all the pizza in the menu so then I asked...we're are the pizza in this menu the server said... it's in another menu let me go and get it, just a heads up they have a dinner menu and casual menu, ask for both menu.

We finally managed to narrow it down to Caesar salad, cozze in paella, Vitello Sorentino, azzorted cheese with olive, Lassana and of course Limoncello that was made with Prosseco sparkling white wine very good, this bartender knows what's his doing! BTW the limoncello is not on the menu.

The starters, the soup and main course arrived quickly, full of flavor, hot and overall very nice to the eye.
I expecteded the garlick bread to be garlick bread...I had better.

The prices are reasonable for the quality of food and the atmosphere, the menu is outstanding and the staff are friendly and efficient, for a brand new place the front door it's all ready black and gives an impression of a unkeep place, but this place is awsome especially the terrece.

Great food and service 😊 everything was seasoned well and fresh!

The service and food were amazing at this location. We were a large group who didn’t show up until around 8 pm. Our server was Morgyn and she was so pleasant. She never made us feel rushed or that we were a bother. All of the staff at this location were so nice and helpful. I can not say enough about how incredible the service was. The food was also great. If you are looking for great Italian food and even better service you have to give them a try.

It was so large and delicious I took half of it home for lunch.

This was our first time here and we loved it! The ambiance, music, hostesses were amazing! Our waitress wasn’t terribly attentive but she was also bar tending. Based off of our observation this is well outside the norm so I can easily leave a 5 star. I ordered a chicken dish with substitutes and they easily accommodated. The husband got the pizza and loved every bite! NOTE: You have to specifically request the pizza menu!

We had an excellent Saturday night at Grato! Our waitress, Morgyn, was fabulous and the customer service from the whole staff was great. Our grandma had her walker and they were very accommodating. The food was the cherry on top to a nice family dinner. Definitely give the risotto a try!

The pizza at this place is absolutely delicious. My family and I usually go here at least twice a month. We usually order the pizza and garlic knots. One Friday, we went in there with the intentions on ordering pizza and the waiter convinced us to try a different dish. We had the pork chops. Initially we were skeptical because we like to stick to what we know. I must say that those pork chops were great recommendation. We returned the following week and had our usual pizza. However, this time had the lasagna as well. The lasagna was excellent. We would highly recommend this place.

First time eating there was yesterday. The place is very nice. The waiter was exceptional. We ordered the Gnocchi with Bolognese sauce as recommended by our server. It was by far, the best I've ever had. It was delicious. The Gnocchi were light and fluffy... the sauce, outstanding. We liked it so much, we just called in a dinner order for tonight. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

My husband and myself had a great time at Grato's Grill last Friday. We had their house salad, large pepperoni pizza and happy hour wine, The pizza was crispy and delicious! Salad was great and very fresh. We had a wonderful server and her name was "Taylor." We never had to hunt for her as she was there off and on all night checking on us, Definitely returning soon!!

Let me start off by saying, that I was watching and waiting for Grato to open, since the first time I saw a sign pop up in their window. Now that they are open, I can safely say, that this is the exact kind of business that communities should desire.
First and foremost, the service is impeccable. Everyone who works there is about as friendly and outgoing as can be, and they are always ready and willing to help.
The food is absolutely amazing. They clearly pride themselves on a high quality of food, which us patrons greatly appreciate. Their commitment to good food is so strong, that they actually get their cookies delivered all the way from New York, even though there are closer and cheaper alternatives. They are that committed to having the best quality foods in their restaurant, and it shows, in every bite you take!
I love the fact that between the display case / carryout counter and the 2 dinning sections, they have figured out a way of accommodating both "quick and cheap in-and-out lunch visits" as well as "Fine dining eat in visits".
Beyond all that, they are also very engaging in the community! My daughter was selling girl scout cookies, and she took them into their restaurant. Not only did they welcome her in without hesitation, but in the end, almost everyone who was on shift that day, ended up buying cookies from her, and they all thanked her for coming, even though, they just did her the favor!!! I really love to see successful businesses being active and engaging in the community.
All in all, this company is just a class act that is really hard to beat.
If you give them a try, I have a feeling you will end up being just as impressed as us!

I couple of weeks ago we stopped in to have a drink and ordered an entree at the bar. The drink and the food was delicious. The food tasted freshly made and the service was excellent. I do not always order dessert. I ordered a chocolate mousse dessert and it definitely was home made and delicious. The ambiance is really nice and the staff is very attentive. Definitely a place you want to try.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! We had a party of 10 and everything was delicious. Our courses from appetizers to desserts were spaced out perfectly giving us an opportunity to really enjoy our experience. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
We have told so many people about this gem and will be back!!!

The best addition to lake Mary in years. Where have you been!?! Authentic Italian food served with the freshest best ingredients! Friendly staff and courteous. Every entree came out fresh hot and delicious! No reason to go anywhere else. Best and closest pizza to NY. Don’t miss out on the amazing desserts too!!

Food is consistently very good. We love so many of the dishes, but our favorites are the Vodka Rigatoni, Veal Piccata and Chicken Parmesan . Atmosphere is also very appealing and always looks, smells and feels fresh and clean. Just always love this place. It’s one of our favorites in Lake Mary. We hear they are also opening a Park Ave. location in Winter Park!

Highly recommend Italian in Lake Mary!

2nd visit in two weeks! First time a tad slower than expected with the food coming out, however server was fantastic, energetic, and helpful. Second visit food came out quick and service was also exceptional! Food is authentic, flavorful, creative, and portions were filling.

Great atmosphere- kids had pizza and spaghetti and they split both and devoured it. Husb. Had chicken Sorrentino (frequent special) and couldn’t keep hands off his plate and I had eggplant lasagna for the second time!

Keep up the good work! Hostess greeted us well coming in and made an effort to say thanks for coming in when we left
