What a unique experience for a birthday girl and her friends who love horses.
The girls got a first hand experience on what running working horse stables entails. Riding, tacking up and grooming the horses were all included in the three hour block of time for the party. Natalie and Anna did a wonderful job showing the girls around and ensuring their safety while riding.
My daughter said she will never forget her birthday at Saddle Lake. If I could give the this rating 10 stars, I would in a heartbeat! Thank you, Missy Jo and Saddle Lake for w wonderful birthday party experience!

I rode here for a few months before changes in my personal life required me to stop. It was an amazing experience! This review is overdue , but Saddle Lake is a wonderful, professional, and fun barn. All of the staff are very knowledgeable and kind. I have been riding western for 20 years but wanted to learn English. Saddle Lake really helped me go from being a rider who knew how to barely post to being a rider who could go over a small fence. They are really involved in helping you grow as a rider. If you want to become a better rider and/or learn how to ride, this is a great place. If I wasn’t planning on relocating, I would hope to ride here again someday.

Saddle Lake Equestrian Center is truly one of the most beautiful barns we have come across and it’s run by kind and talented trainers. My 20 year-old daughter and I arrived for a brief tour and after spending 14 years immersed in the horse world we were blown away. The setting is gorgeous. The horses are so well kept and loved and the beautiful ponies were everywhere. Missy Jo was friendly, so informative but most importantly welcoming. Could not recommend this barn and the people there more. Dreamy...

I have been training on and off with Missy since I was 5 years old. I recently sent my horse to her for training and the difference they were able to make in 2 months was unbelievable. My daughter and I just got back into showing the bigger circuit and I wanted her to get the proper training. There is no doubt that Missy was the right choice. She takes her time and makes things fun for the kids while keeping safety first. Missy has been like a second mom to me for most of my life, as I’m sure most of kids that have trained with her will feel the same way. I love her, my daughter loves her and my horse loves her! Can’t wait to get him back in training for the upcoming show season!

Saddle lake equestrian center is a great riding facility full of lots of great people. Missy Jo is the best and devotes her whole life to the sport and to the UC equestrian team. She has been a huge mentor in my life, and taken me under her wing helping me move forward in my riding career. She is the most selfless person I know, and has always put her horses and clients/ students ahead of herself. She is simply the best!!!

We first came to Saddlelake Equestrian to purchase a pony for our daughter. After extensive searches across the northeast, we found our pony and Missy Jo Hollingsworth. She has integrity, knowledge and expertise unmatched in the horse world. We are now blessed to be able to join her team and absolutely love her entire group of riders, families and staff. Our daughter is thriving and learning so much with every lesson and show.

Missy was amazing today. Showed my kids around the complex and was very patient and kind. Such a great experience for my daughter's birthday. I would recommend this equestrian center to anyone willing to learn about horses and ponies.

I have been riding with Missy Jo since Jan and I have learned so much! I am a out of state client and she is always so welcoming and willing to accommodate me! She is truly the best! Highly recommend Saddlelake!!

I rode for the University of Cincinnati Equestrian Team and I had the pleasure of doing so for about 3 years with Missy Jo before graduation. Riding with the team was some of my favorite collegiate moments and gave me lifelong friendships. We always had a blast and Missy Jo pushed us to be the best riders we could be! We were comprised of ALL levels of riders and we all learned and grew together. These girls (and some guys) were my family through school. I was recently part of one of one teammate’s engagements and several of us get together monthly and go on trips together. I can honestly say being coached by Missy Jo made me a better rider. After I graduated I took the skills I learned and finished a horse myself and went down to PHBA Worlds and won a couple Reserve and multiple top 5 placings. I would recommend riding with the team to anyone!

My daughter took lessons at SaddleLake Loveland for almost a year. The only reason we left was bc we moved to SC. We have only great things to say. The whole team is excellent. We had a pony in training for a month, took lessons, and went to a few shows. Highly recommend Saddlelake!!!!

A fantastic facility! Missy Jo and the entire staff take what they do very seriously. They are extremely knowledgeable in all levels of horsemanship. Great training, staff and horses.
