McKenna's Place-Port Orange

Aron is such an amazing person that enjoys his job and making people smile. I ate everything he suggested and it was delicious! Asked for dessert and it was before me in snap! WOW!!! This place is AWESOME. Wish I lived closer to hang out here more often. From the moment I walked in, I felt invited, attended to, like I was the only one in this packed place. The football on the screen made it feel like home, the service made me feel like they w re happy to see me.

The place you wish was in your neighborhood! From the minute we were greeted everyone was so friendly and nice, the food was great, it just made you remember how good of an experience going out can still be!
Gluten free menu had great options, they go out of their way to make sure you understand the steps they take for those guests.
Kids menu was standard fare, but the option of a side was great as ours was happy to get a side cesar salad!
Great beer selection too, we'll be back next time we're in Port Orange!

I wish I would have taken a picture of my plate. The food is outstanding and the service is super fast and friendly. We’ve been to Maine and had seafood and my husband said these were the best fried oysters he’s ever had I would highly recommend. Try it out.

We chose to sit in the bar area, our server came over to get our drinks quickly. Our server answered all of our many questions without the appearance of being annoyed. Very friendly and super helpful. Ordered the spinach artichoke dip and it tasted freshly made and had great flavor. Ordered the grilled blackened chicken with the Irish potato cake. The seasoning was on point and the chicken was not dry. The Irish potato cake was very flavorful. I ordered the crab cakes with the Irish potato cake. The remoulade sauce was absolutely fantastic and the crab cakes were cooked perfectly and had tiny pieces of carrot, celery and onion that gave it a nice crunch without being overwhelming and taking over. Probably one of the best crab cakes I've had. If I lived in town I would make this a definite stop frequently. Highly recommend!

This is a well run establishment. Had the steak and raw oysters. Services excellent the people are courteous. The food is delicious Kris the owner of this establishment is extremely professional. I believe he told me his run this business here over 11 years I was in with a party of 30 and I couldn’t find my card, my Visa card to pay for my bill I was extremely embarrassed, when I told him he said, what are you worried about? I should be the one worried but I’m not so go have a good time come back tomorrow sometime and you can pay the bill then so I did I went back the next day had a dozen noises and Kris came over and sat down with me. What a cool guy this is, he took time from his busy day and this is a busy establishment to talk to one of his customers. It was like I was his new best friend the waitress and I forgot her name just was very attentive. They have TVs here it’s a wide open space this is my new go to bar. I can’t believe how nice they areand I can’t believe how great the food is. Give them a try. You won’t be dissatisfied.

Found this place while driving around looking for a new place to try for lunch and man was it a treat. The menu had a great selection of a combination of seafood and other classics, like Ruben's, burgers, steaks so even for my friend who doesn't enjoy seafood there were plenty of options. Most of the food was reasonably priced. I had the lobster roll which was a little pricer but I'd never had one before and wanted to try it. It was delicious, I had it as the hot with butter option, though I do wish I had tried the cold one. My friend had a Ruben which looked awesome and well sized. Surprisingly the star of the show was our appetizer, the spinach and artichoke dip. Absolutely the best dip I've ever had. The food was only one upped by the service which was awesome, our server was so friendly and helpful. Honestly one of the best lunches out I've had in years, couldn't recommend the place enough and can't wait to get a chance to return!

What an amazing place! We had a large group tonight and had the best waiter, Alex. I've never seen anyone so happy, all the time. He was fantastic, very professional and was a great server!!! The food was delicious. I had the fish tacos. They came out hot and was so much more than I expected. The bang bang sauce really made the dish. Thanks for a wonderful evening Alex!

Visiting from Ohio and we were recommended to come here by the neighbors and I am so glad we did. I ordered the sirloin steak and Brussels sprouts and the steak was definitely the best steak I have ever had, it melted in my mouth and was cooked perfectly. Melissa our server was so nice and made sure everything was good and she was very knowledgeable about the menu and suggested what she liked because we couldn't decide what we wanted as everything on the menu sounded amazing. I highly recommend coming here if you are new to the area.

I have been coming to Mckenna's for years now. Great food and service. Kudos to Chris and his team. I even brought close to 40 people in last night from my Singles Group and his team handled us all effortlessly. We all enjoyed the food, drinks and Michael Leone who hosted Karoke! Definitely will be back again. Keep up the great work all and everyone should support this fabulous locals restaurant!!

Tried McKenna's for the first time tonight. We had Alex M. as our server. He was absolutely amazing! He made our experience so enjoyable. The food was excellent. Will definitely be back.

A locally owned restaurant in port Orange. Tired their lobster roll. It was good. The staff and service was good.

My family and I come in for dinner quite frequently and have done so for at least 6 years now. The food remains of the best quality and while many of our favorite servers have come and gone (shout out Gerald, we miss you!!), the service is ALWAYS stellar. We especially love Aaron as well but every server we have ever had has been great. Special shout out also goes to the manager, who is alwayssss there. Not only is the manager always there but he is doing it all; bussing tables, bringing food, seating people. I have worked in food service and he is the most hands on and helpful manager I have ever seen.

And they always give me olives from the bar because they are my favorite. Dining here is like an extension of our own home because it is such a welcoming environment. We look forward to coming and are never disappointed.

My husband and I love McKenna's. We split their order of fish which is absolutely delicious and we each get our own sides. If you like fish this is your go-to place

Outstanding burger! Cooked perfectly, decent size, bacon was crispy and the bun wasn’t too overwhelming. Fries were fresh! Great service, easy parking, wonderful location. Fair prices. Would be a terrific place to watch any kind of sports! Recommended!

First time here and had Alex M and thoroughly enjoyed his cheerful presence. Everyone was so kind and food was delicious! Great prices and great drinks. Thank you for a great experience!

The owner/ manager is in the right line of work. First time in there and he treated us like family. I only got the pretzel sticks but they were delish. The smoked gouda dip was wonderful.

CELIAC FRIENDLY!!! It’s rare to find a restaurant that is so contientous of my gluten allergy. McKennas goes out of their way to make sure my meal is not only safe but also delicious! They have a dedicated fryer so I can actually eat fries! And their gluten free buns taste surprisingly good. To top it off, the staff is always incredibly friendly. Every time we visit we feel like family. Alex was our server tonight. He was the happiest person with tons of energy! Our favorite place to eat in port orange!

This has become a regular place for us when we visit Daytona. Food is always fresh, hot and tasty. I had the Reuben this time and omg it was so delicious. A sister had the grilled cheese and the other had the McKenna's burger which were all still great. Service is always friendly and fun which makes this place very likeable. A couple folks in our party had the philly cheesesteak which were also good.

Hands down the best Fish Tacos around Daytona Beach! Be sure to ask for Gina!
