The Shores Resort & Spa

If I could rate this resort more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! The staff was beyond accommodating to both my wife and I for our entire trip. The hotel itself was gorgeous and super clean, our room was PHENOMENAL, and the food and service were exceptional. We also got to enjoy the spa which I HIGHLY recommend! The spa itself is incredibly beautiful, but the massages and pedicures we got were so amazing! Kara and Michelle did a great job on my wife and my massages and Cindy did great on our nails. Will DEFINITELY be returning!

Great property in this area. Staff are all amazing and helpful which is rare. Dog friendly, so some rooms have an " odor". Ask for a cabana room on the first floor for a real treat.
Food was top quality as well. A good find.

What a wonderful hotel. I can't say enough good things about the staff first and foremost. Everyone was incredibly helpful whether it was a bartender or server, someone at the front desk, housekeeping, etc - they were all friendly and willing to find an answer even if they didn't have it. The food was delicious - definitely get the pizza or the giant hot dog. The sweet potato fries had a sprinkling of sugar on top that made them the best I've ever had. The location is perfect, you can walk right off of the beautiful patio (definitely sit by the fire pits at night) onto the beach. This is the ideal spot for a Daytona getaway.

Everything was 5/5 about this resort! If I could give it a 10/5 I would! That’s how incredible the resort is! From the rooms to the staff, I have a list of good things I could say about my stay! My overall experience was amazing! From the moment I arrived the staff was unbelievably kind and welcoming! The front desk greeted us with a smile The hotel is beautiful with its ocean front views. 😍 The lobby is so cozy with its multiple places to work spaces and the dining options are perfect! The hotel has everything you need and more all in one place! I loved it!

It may not boast opulent luxury, it offers a truly enjoyable experience that exceeded my expectations. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful throughout my stay. I particularly appreciated the comfort of the beds and the spaciousness of the rooms. For fitness enthusiasts, the gym facility is more than sufficient. Dining at the hotel’s restaurant was a treat, and having a room with an ocean view provided the perfect backdrop for breathtaking sunrises. An added bonus is the direct beach access from the pool area. The ambiance is serene, ensuring minimal disturbances from other guests. My only critique would be the overly active air conditioning, which made the rooms quite chilly. Regardless, I’d highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay.

This is the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The people are amazing and while I didn't have a ocean view I could still see and hear the water from my balcony. Absolutely love it!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Shores Resort and Spa for a work event and it was nothing short of a five-star experience. The amenities at The Shores Resort and Spa are truly exceptional, making my stay unforgettable. The breathtaking oceanfront location is just the beginning of the resort's charm. The spacious and tastefully decorated rooms offered panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. There is no better way to start your day than waking up to the sound of waves. The conference and catering team executed our event flawlessly. The food was delicious, and service was outstanding. A shout out to Clinton the bartender, even when the bar was busy, he was calm and efficient and always made sure everyone had a drink in their hand. The entire staff was so friendly. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a place to stay in Daytona Beach! I hope to return soon.

Loved everything about this resort. Super nice people working there who are genuine, but the fake nice that you're used to seeing. Absolutely beautiful room down to the details. It's nice to see a good place like this isn't a big chain.

Just had an outstanding first-time experience at Daytona Beach, staying at The Shores! Even with less-than-perfect weather, the property’s excellence truly stood out. Attended a work conference, and the staff went above and beyond, treating us like VIPs. The culinary experience was top-notch, from delightful bar lunches to daily breakfasts and mouthwatering banquet fare. A heartfelt thank you to the incredibly welcoming staff for their assistance – from the small things like a forgotten brush to my unexpected need for nail polish remover. You made our stay truly exceptional!

Attended a work conference at The Shores this past week and had an incredible experience across the board. From the service to the food to the accommodations and amenities, The Shores has everything you could want in a destination- whether for work or play.

Each meal was absolutely delicious and the balconies and ocean views in each room were to die for!

What stood out to me the most was the service. Each person I encountered- from housekeeping to the front desk to the F&B team- was friendly and accommodating and fully exemplified what it means to work in hospitality.

I cannot wait to come back soon but for pleasure this time so I can enjoy the complimentary morning yoga and s'mores with my family!

Absolutely LOVE this place!! We come almost every year around the same time with my husband's company Ferguson waterworks. Between cleanliness, courtesy, customer service, and atmosphere, all of it is perfect!! Especially their breakfast!! ( I know this will sound weird, but i LOVE LOVE LOVE the smell of this place!!) Definitely family friendly! which is a big deal for me, I have more than one child (4) & hubby... can't wait to come back!! Keep up the great work guys!!

We had a lovely terrace room opening to the pool. Michael at the front desk was charming and very personable. The spa is incredible, note they include a gratuity. They were doing repairs on the hot tub due to storm damage. Shower was really hot which my wife loved - although the control to cold wasn't great. Although not brand new the room was clean and well appointed.

I recently had the pleasure of attending a conference at The Shores Resort, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff demonstrated a level of hospitality that set the tone for the entire stay. The facilities were not only well-maintained but also exuded a sense of luxury and comfort.

The conference spaces were well-equipped, providing a conducive environment for learning and collaboration. The attention to detail in the setup and organization was evident, making the event seamless and enjoyable.

First time visitor to the Shores! Blown away by the hotel and importantly, the staff. Special call out to Diana at the front desk. She was at the end of her shift when we arrived and yet, was incredibly patient with the curveballs we sent her way ( I am not proud of creating complex situations myself).

From people at the restaurant, the spa, the valet, I am happy to see such a spirited bunch of people working at this hotel.

The location is PERFECT! The hotel is well maintained. Not opulently luxurious but very respectable. The terrace rooms are MAGICAL. Be sure to get one towards the right end of the hotel. Sunrise from your bed, won’t have to tilt your head to see it! 🙂🙂

One suggestion, hope you get a few non-Tesla EV chargers soon.

I had a fantastic time during my stay at The Shores. Not only do you get a great view of the beach from your room, but it’s hard to beat the special accommodations that come with your stay. Additionally, it’s so affordable for all they offer. I would absolutely recommend The Shores and stay here every time I visit Daytona Beach!

My boyfriend and I just stayed for our first time at The Shores Resort & Spa for a weekend getaway trip and we will 1000% be back for more very soon! I cannot rave enough about this resort; everything was perfect! The team members all around the resort; from front desk, dining staff (servers, bartenders, seaters), valet, housekeeping, to the event/catering services; that work at the resort are knowledgeable, helpful, kind, welcoming, and go above and beyond daily to make their guests feel like family! Our room was beautiful and one of my favorite resort rooms I’ve ever stayed in; we booked a costal view and could view both the Atlantic Ocean and the intercoastal waterway and it was an incredible view! Hope to see you again really soon Shores Resort & Spa, thanks for the wonderful memories!

Lovely place to get away!
Upon walking in to check- in, we were greeted by a charismatic woman. She helped us get checked- in and even though she had to let us down by not having a balcony room available, she still made us feel like we were getting a beautiful view. (She wasn't wrong.) Then we were given drink vouchers, and a voucher for a smores kit.
After unpacking we went out back and the pool area was beautiful. There are fire pits, pool and hot tub, are all surrounded by cabanas and lounge chairs. They had a bar available with food, (I imagine) but it was closed when we got outside.
We did grab some food inside and everything was great from the service to the food and beverages. We did get to go down to the ocean which was beautiful beyond words.
All around it was a very pleasant experience!

Recently visited The Shores for a work conference, and it was incredible. Unbeatable view, welcoming staff (special shout out to Christian who went above and beyond), and the food is simply a culinary delight. Can’t wait to come back and stay at this resort with my family and friends!

Perfect weekend getaway. The desk attendants were amazing. The rooms spacious and the beach is just outside the very clean pool. There nightly firepit and outside bar as well as seating along a long fire bar. Perfect way to stay warm if the winds pick up. The beach is immaculate and the life guards set up really close to the hotel. There is a restaurant for breakfast and dinner and complementary smores kit given upon request. The only thing I'd suggest is bring your own drinks since after the restaurant closes there is no way to get anything but water to drink without leaving the hotel and there is nothing close by to run into if drinks and snacks are desired. Had an excellent time here and the cost was more than reasonable even on a budget. Pass up all the cheaper places on the way because for the same cost you can stay here. I highly recommend this place and will be staying here anytime we return to the area.
