Grovetown Seafood Market and Restaurant

The catfish was fried to perfection I asked to fry crispy. I got the lunch special fried fish w/ham fried rice it was delicious and it comes with a medium sweet tea which good also. The food was freshly cooked and you see the steam when you open your plate. Definitely come here to eat lunch or dinner. There's a variety of food to order.

This was our first time ordering from this restaurant. We ordered a three-pound pan of Whiting. The fish was beautifully fried and tasted delicious. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu.

I went there with a fellow Soldier and we thought it was great. He had fried shrimp with beef fried rice and I had catfish with shrimp fried rice. There was no additional cost to add a protein to my fried rice. Unexpected but very pleasing. The portion size of my fish was great. I had plenty of rice as well. I was shocked by the price and my lunch plate came with a glass of sweet tea. What I love was the food was cooked fresh and hot..too hot for me to eat right away. Also it wasn't over breaded and it was seasoned just right I didn't even have to add hot sauce. Please keep up the good work... I will bring others!!

I usually don’t write reviews but this place is top notch. First time trying it out and I was throughly impressed . Portions are great and the food was excellent. My new favorite spot!

Food is always great and the gentleman that answers the phone is the nicest one I've ever had out of any other restaurants when placing an order!

I love the fact that they aren't stingy with food but they don't have smaller options for people that's not sharing or single people who don't like leftover food. It's a waste for me because I don't want it on the 2nd day, so I don't go often.

The guy that takes the orders has to notch customer service. The food comes out within 15 to 20 min hot. Large portions makes it even better, ( YOU GET YOUR MONEY WORTH)

This place was so good and you get a big portion for a really decent price!!! Got 12 hush puppies for little over $2 and a lb of crab legs close to $30. It was SO yummy. The chicken fried rice was delicious and even better with soy sauce. Highly recommend this place.

My husband and I tried the fried catfish and shrimp fried rice plate from the lunch menu yesterday and it was great! The portions were more than enough and the meal was priced at a fair price. We will be going back for sure!

You can't go wrong by eating from here. They are not open for inside dining yet but they offer take out and delivery. They have some great tasting food, especially the shrimp and the prices are cheap. I can buy a pound of medium fried shrimp and a side order of hushpuppy for a reasonable price compared to the local WifeSaver where it would cost double for a small bite size shrimp dinner, in which you get about 8 to 10 shrimp if you are lucky. If you have never tried the Grovetown Seafood Market, I suggest you should. You will not be disappointed

We moved here from Savannah and have often said the Augusta area has horrible food, but I can truly say this is one of the few to go restersunts that pleased our taste buds. If you like fried seafood and Chinese fried rices then you won’t be disappointed. Extra huge portions and tasty food. Friendly staff and excellent customer service. Definitely a hidden jewel in Columbia County.

The food is always hot and fresh because it’s cooked to order! The portions are huge and the prices are beyond reasonable. We eat here several times per month! Flounder and shrimp fried rice are our favs!

Their seafood is great, especially the fried shrimp! The owner is so nice on the phone & in person.
