Henry's Restaurant in Pooler

It is a clean , fast, diner with low prices. The service was great, waited on right away, food came out quick. I wanted a grilled cheese and fries, came out nice and crisp for only $6.50.

My husband and I have now made this a weekend thing. They had a nice sized buffet. It is not huge and is just what you need for breakfast (and some banana pudding too). If you order off the menu it is just as good. The staff are friendly and you feel like you are on a small town diner where everyone talks to everyone. The prices are good too.

Been twice now driving by on road trips. The first time was on the weekend for the buffet. Solid buffet with fresh food for a great price. Second time was during the week. At first we were sad there was no buffet but then we got our food...... Best fried catfish and fried pork chop ever. Well seasoned, hot, crunchy but not overly breaded. Delicious! And the French toast and rye toast were on point.

We ventured to this place on a whim. It was a fantastic find and will return when in town again. Food was quick, hot and delicious. Service was equally as good and my drink cup never was empty.
Burger was great- handpatted and thick. Grits were fantastic, even better than Metro Diners. Pancakes were devoured quickly. Philly cheese omelet was awesome.

Really friendly staff. Good prices. Everything we had was fresh and tasty. The shrimp and grits are a very good portion. Good coffee. The rye bread is really good. The restaurant and bathrooms are well kept.

I had the meat omelette, added green peppers & onions… it was very good, I was kind of scared to try the grits, because everyone grits don’t come out the same, but it tasted just like I like it!! There was no need to add salt and pepper, everything was seasoned just right!! Will be going back!!!🥰

Stopped in for breakfast after doctors appointment. Seating capacity is greater than available parking. Building is new and restaurant clean. Staff is friendly and accommodating, service fast. The food was outstanding! I had the cheesesteak omelet with hash browns and coffee. The coffee is very good. My bride had the eggs Benedict and hash browns. I tasted the eggs Benedict and will be having that my next visit.

Scattered hash browns are good but I asked to add cheese, was willing to pay more but they were skimpy with the cheese. I asked for more cheese and still could had more. Other than that the place was clean and server was attentive.

French toast is extremely mouthwatering! Loved every bite! Also had a veggie omelette which had beautiful pieces of vegetables in it! Very accommodating to special requests, super sweet workers and a laid back atmosphere.

We've been looking for a mom&pop style neiborhood diner since we moved in the area. I am so happy we tried Henry's. Everytime we dined in the restaurant, we were greeted promptly and served with good food. Every staff we encountered were friendly and attentive.

Ellen our waitress is awesome, she remembered what we ordered the 1st time we went in, always has our drinks ready upon us walking in plus she puts my ketchup on table so I don't have to ask. Ellen is a very sweet, caring and smart person ❤

My Grandson has worked there for several years. We usually go on Sunday afternoon after church to eat and visit with him. The food is good and of course the service is great. If you go ask to sit in Tristen's section.

Perfect portions, the fluffiest pancakes, super crispy bacon; what more could you want? Fast seating? ✅ Friendly wait staff? ✅ Prompt service? ✅ Expansive menu (with both breakfast AND lunch options)? ✅✅ Good, simple, homestyle food.

The food was kept full on the buffet. It also was tasty. Will go back in the future

Everything was delicious. Our waitress was personable and did a great job. Although I'm a dog lover, I didn't like a dog that clearly wasn't a support/service dog being under the table next to us. I will return.

Henry’s is a pleasant and welcoming place for all families. The food, service and atmosphere is beyond words! My family and I will definitely be visiting again soon.

The shrimp & grits was incredible and the biscuit was SO soft. Really affordable too.

I love henrys. I go ever so often after work with my friends. My waittese has been at henrys since 2017 and she really makes an effort to remember use. Great customer service!!!
