Bahama Bob's

First time visiting this restaurant. Very impressed with the service and the food. The crab legs bucket was the best I have had in a very long time. Juicy...tender...and perfectly seasoned. We also ordered a steak dinner with very good quality/cut of steak. Bob, the owner, was at the restaurant and was very friendly and attentive to our needs as well as our server. We will definitely be back again to try other items on the menu.

The shrimp and crab dip (not on the menu) was really good. Lots of shrimp and crab in it as well as very cheesy. We also had the jambalaya pasta was super yummy. It had shrimp, chicken and sausage over pasta. It had a little kick which we really liked. Service was quick and friendly. The beer was ice cold. They have pool tables and darts (which we played) making for a fun outing. Definitely a good place for seafood dishes, cold beer and mixed drinks.

The service was great!! The vibe inside is welcoming but a little out dated on the decor. Being from MD we like our seafood seasoned well with old Bay!! But you definitely get your money's worth!! And those oysters omg!! Huge!! Definitely gonna stop in again when I'm in the area!!

We've lived in Pooler for years and never eaten here. It was great! The fried seafood was delicious, great oyster po boy. The fried shrimp were just ok and the deviled crab is more like a crab cake. Friends got the burger and grilled fish and said it was delicious. Solid choice! The place is a bit loud, especially the televisions, but it is a bar so that is not unexpected.

The service was excellent, and the seafood was delicious! That atmosphere was nice, but it just needs a little updating. Very comfortable and enjoyable experience!

Due to the labor shortage only two waitresses were available and you had to wait outside for a bit before getting seated.

However once seated the orders were placed and food came out quickly. This is obviously the place for the locals and repeat travelers.

Food portions are nice. The chicken wings were large, meaty, and delicious.

The peel and eat shrimp was almost 20 pieces. It's not deveined but do the work and it's worth it. The cocktail sauce and drawn butter was soooo good.

The calamari was delicious with actual squid instead of just the rings.

We also got fries, sausage, fried shrimp platter (battered very well and large shrimp) & sweet tea.

I hope we can return before we leave. Melissa was very sweet and it's truly a gem.

This place was so cool! Immediately accommodated our familial party of 17! The waitresses were outstanding and had just the right touch for our hungry celebratory birthday party!!! The portions were large and we will be returning soon I'm sure because the menu was spot on. The seafood chowder was spicy and distinct while the crab stew was cheese and smooth with lots of meat and diced bell peppers and onions. Buckets of seafood were on the table and the smiles of my family were flowing! And the smooth spiciness of the Spicy Crab dip hit the spot for our appetizer. We shall return soon!!!!

I can give this a 4.7. The food and service are amazing but the place needs a cleaning.

This place was amazing! If you pull into parking and think to change your mind ... DON'T. The food is amazing! The service is outstanding. The portions are HUGE so beware ordering too many appetizers! 10 out of 5!

Ate with a group of coworkers. Several different dishes were ordered. Everyone pretty much enjoyed it. I got the fried seafood platter, it was excellent.

Omg...we had a shrimp platter and the Bob seafood combo; it was more than enough and very good.The environment was good with great music of all genre. The wait time wasn't bad and the staff was overly pleasant.I will go there again...

Steak was amazing, one of the best ribeyes I have ever eaten, along with chagrined oysters and seafood chowder. All was excellent!

I love the quality and quantity of the food. Our server Bella was great. I highly recommend this place for an outting with adults and kids..

I've have been here twice now and the service has been great as well as the food. Portions are well worth the money. Highly recommend this place. I really like the atmosphere here its very coastal.

Delicious! This place has to be the hidden jewel of Pooler. If you are in the mood for good seafood, a good steak with good service this is your place.

Casual seafood fresh. Great portions. Ordered low country boil which had plenty of snow crab legs, nice size peel and eat Shrimp. Also Smoked sausage. My wife had the salad with a generous portions of seared Tuna & salad. Both meals were very tasty.

Alana was so sweet but the head lady was rude. She kept coming to our table and kept asking if we need anything. We told her what we needed two different times and we never received it. I told her that the food was nasty and it did not have any seasoning and the lady walked off and ignored me. My group will never come to this plate again. This was the nastiest seafood that I ever ate. I did not say it. I left majority of the food. I could not eat it. Update: I updated it from a 1 to a 5 only because of the manager. She really made us feel better about the situation.

Wonderful service and delicious food. Our 11 year olds had fun throwing darts.
