Delta Hotels by Marriott Daytona Beach Oceanfront

My wife and I stayed here for a few days at Easter time. The hotel is the perfect size. Not too big, not too small. Clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Great food. Two nice bars, one by the pool. Interesting mix of guests. Easy access to the beach. Reminds me of a European hotel.

The most wonderful staff at check-in, restaurant, etc work at this hotel. Rooms were comfortable and sparkling clean. Air quality in the entire hotel was pleasantly fragrant. Restaurant food including the continental breakfast was yummy. My husband was treated as the Marriott elite member which he has been for over a year. Other Marriott hotels have mostly ignored this fact. I hope that Marriott executive recognize how special this hotel staff is and rewards them.

Simone was amazing when checking me into the hotel for my birthday in March. I was suppose to have a standard room and when she found it was my birthday she asked her manager if I could be moved to the only ocean front room available that day and it was approved. That made my day even 10x better! Then on top of that gave me 500 points as well. It was a birthday to remember and the interaction was so heartfelt and I will always remember. The room was amazing and the pool and beach areas were stunning!

Just enjoyed a stay on a girls trip. Hotel is lovely, newly renovated. Clean and modern. However, we did have a few smallish issues- clogged toilet, minor housekeeping issue. There was a lot going on at the hotel this weekend including a very large fraternity group. But the young men were well behaved, largely in part to strict enforcement from hotel staff, to make sure that all guests had a pleasant stay. The problems that came up would have brought this rating down. But the mark of a good business with strong management is how they handle problems. The staff and manager went above and beyond to remedy and make things right. That’s a well earned 5 star review!

Came from Orlando to celebrate my sister’s birthday, who came in from Chicago! First impression was exquisite! Simone at the front desk went above and beyond to,not only accommodate us, but also have her room decorated with some goodies and balloons! Thank you Simone! Thank you Delta staff who work so hard on keeping everything so clean for guests! This hotel rocks! Location rocks! All around 5 star!

The staff was very kind and welcoming during our stay. The room was very clean and the views were amazing. We didn't eat dinner at the bar but did have breakfast. I would suggest somewhere else if you want a hearty vacation like breakfast. But good for something small and simple.

We had a great time. The rooms were super clean and modern, and the pool+beach access were awesome. The ladies at the front desk (and restaurant) were super friendly and helpful. The hotel is about ten minutes away from downtown Daytona, so the beach is pretty quiet. Only complaint was no complementary breakfast, but that's ok.

Just a wonderful stay the past 6 days. Hotel is top notch with cleanliness, amenities, and service. Great news is also the new pool and hot tub opened this past weekend along with beach access. Definitely would stay here again. Please try there breakfast croissant with egg, cheese and bacon. Yummy.

Outstanding stay at a terrific property. The Delta hotel Daytona Beach oceanfront is a very nice property. The beach and the pool are very nice and well-maintained. There is a restaurant and bar that are great places for a snack and drink while you’re at the hotel.

We were in town for an event and had three rooms. All of the rooms were impeccably clean, updated, and had great views of the ocean. Customer service was outstanding. From check-in to food and beverage service to housekeeping, everybody was friendly and helpful.

Especially noteworthy was Shian who went above and beyond. A couple months before our stay, she took us on a tour of the hotel because we had stayed in other “highly rated” hotels in Daytona Beach that were subpar. Shian was super friendly, amazingly helpful, and since I am an elite member she made a personal note in her own calendar to check for upgrades just prior to my check-in. To my great satisfaction, Shian was able to get us upgraded oceanfront rooms without having to ask and without any fanfare. She proactively made it happen without seeking credit.

I highly recommend the Delta Daytona Beach Oceanfront hotel. Beside being a great property, they have old-fashioned, friendly customer service. So nice to experience that again!

Love staying at the Delta Daytona Beach- this was my 10th time here in the past five years and it was a great trip this past month. The front desk staff was outstanding. I forget the particular associates name, but she knew my name the moment I walked in the door before I even checked in! She remembered me from last time- which I've never had happen before at a hotel! Paige in the bar was so sweet per usual and made a fantastic Pina Colada. So happy to see the pool and beach access back open after the rebuild! Looking forward to coming back!

I was in the area for work and had to make a very last minute decision to stay here due to an issue with a Hilton property.

Though, I didn’t not come for the beach, if you are looking for an oceanfront property this hotel is ideal.

The rooms are nice. I had a queen room with a standing shower, but a shower/tub combo is available as well. The beds are soft and the mattresses have covers. The sheets are good as well. If I ever came back to Daytona for leisure, I would stay again.

I highly recommend staying here for Daytona Beach and I will stay here again on my next trip through.
Everyone on staff were friendly, helpful, and prompt with their service.
The rooms were clean and put together. The bed was also very comfortable.
Understandably, the beach access was still closed from the 2022 hurricane and it might still be a while before it opens. They provided how to easily access the beach by foot or by vehicle that was within a few minutes from the hotel.

I stayed here for two days during a home renovation, being a local, I was impressed. For Daytona, the people that work together to make this an inviting place are just awesome. The staff are all very professional and welcoming. The food is great for Daytona, the cheeseburger is the bomb! I was really lucky during my stay because the tourists snubbed the hotel as they had to walk a few minutes to the beach. Their loss. I had the entire beachfront beautiful lanai all to myself for several hours. It was a rare moment. I will stop in for lunch and happy hour next week.

I only stayed one night but the customer service and room service was nice and acted quickly on requests. There was no beach access that’s why I gave location 4 stars, but the ocean view rooms with private balconies are amazing! The ocean views make the trip with every penny.

Great location for Daytona Beach. Pool right on the beach and great views if you can get a ocean view room.

Very nice hotel. Clean and beautiful. I had a problem with the chip in my credit card. Thankfully it was a local bank. I was concerned about losing my room. The desk clerk, Tamara, was absolutely wonderful! She reassured me that she would hold the room until I could get back. I am so grateful for her wonderful and kind spirit!

Although the pool was closed and there was no beach access, this place was still amazing. I would rated 5 stars , but my only advice would be to have more people at the restaurant area during breakfast and dinner time.

At dinner time, I had to go and get the menus from the waitress because we (my girlfriend and I) were waiting for more than 30 minutes for them. The waitress was extremely busy and couldn't even do it by herself.

Overall, we had a great time.

We booked the Delta Daytona because it was halfway between Charleston and Naples. We had no idea the hotel had been impacted by the recent hurricanes. The recent reviews didn’t seem all that great following the hurricanes so as we were driving on our way, we called to check and were reassured that the hotel was safe and accepting guests. our check in was amazing and quick and concierge was reassuring and very helpful. One elevator was out of service but there was a second elevator that served us well. Our room was on the fourth floor, there were dehumidifiers in the hall but there was no smell and no humidity. Our room was spectacular and very very comfortable. It was raining when we arrived so we decided to have dinner in the lobby. I had the salmon and my husband had the grouper. Dinner was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic. we will use this hotel and we will look for this brand next time we need to book a hotel. Very impressed!

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Great location on the beach, we spent a lot of time at the bar just inside near the outdoor pool. The bartenders were like old friends after about 10 mins🤣😂🤣. We’re already planning to return for spring break 2025

Very nice and clean also quiet. Could use more lighting and security surveillance but great stay overall.
