Hampton Inn Daytona Shores-Oceanfront

We stayed at Hampton Inn for two nights. It was very nice. I have to say the staff was so friendly the day and night shift. The rooms were nice. Although, you can tell it's a pet friendly hotel. The room attendant provided some needed items right away and was also very nice. The walls are a little thin. You can hear the people if nothing's on. However, you can not beat The View! We had an oceanfront room, and it was worth it to be on the top floor and keep the door open, and hear the waves quite relaxing. I always say the staff makes a big difference, and I would definitely stay there again just because of them. Breakfast was good, and the two girls working during breakfast we're very attentive to resupplying as needed. The kids who were also staying at the hotel seemed to really enjoy the pool and the beach.

Vanessa was extremely kind and helpful. I appreciated the amazing customer service and am blessed by my stay. The rooms are nice and have beautiful views. Great location too to see the beach views. Thankful for God's beauty displayed throughout.

Everything about this hotel was perfect for us! The bedding smelled fresh & clean and it was a very comfortable nights sleep! Rooms had everything a person needs, clean & comfortable & ocean front! We loved it! Breakfast was good too! Sorry we only needed to stay one night.

Excellent experience overall! This hotel has beach access and it's a very comfortable stay. Layne at the front desk was very helpful with getting us a room after another nearby hotel left us very disappointed, so I would absolutely come back here for a stay. The free breakfast is great too!

Great stay. Stayed at this hotel with my significant other for 8 days at the end of September.
-Staff was super accommodating and helpful when we had folks coming and going, as we had not seen family and friends for several years. Kudos to the all the desk crew, they were always so chill and personable, and I know they deal with a lot everyday.
-Beachfront room had a fantastic view. Housekeeping was also great when I had them come by. They also helped me out when I accidentally forgot my key card once.
-Breakfast was always very stocked and hot, the morning crew was lovely.
-Appears to be one of the few hotels with beach access, huge plus!

Biggest downside was the $16.50 per day parking fee. I feel like this system should be adjusted to a parking pass handed to you at check in, but not a fee. Perhaps charge if the pass is not returned, but I think per day is a little steep when you're already paying $X/per night for a room on the beach.

Overall I would definitely come back here, I enjoyed my stay here very much. Thank you for your hospitality!

Laney and the front desk staff were amazing! Laney has a warm welcoming smile that puts an amazing topping on your beach vacation. A true rockstar!

Unfortunately very windy during our stay; therefore, unwise to go out on the beach.

Our stay at the Hampton was perfect. The room was so clean it looked brand new. The beds were comfy and the complimentary breakfast was very good. The staff were all so friendly and dressed nice with clean appearances. It rained on us most of the weekend so having a nice clean room to hang out in and listen to the waves from the beach was so relaxing.

This hotel was very clean, very friendly, and had stylish modern amenities. I would have pretty have a mini table on the balcony to set my drink on when out there enjoying the sights but that’s just a preference. The beds were comfortable and refreshing. The chairs on the balcony and the pool deck were in great shape and comfortable. I would have preferred there to be a keurig in the room instead of a single serve coffee maker that uses the bag coffee. I brought my own coffee pods and creamer because I’m a bit picky about my coffee. Also there were no flavored coffee creamer offered in the lobby or at breakfast which was kind of disappointing. And there was no complimentary water in the lobby either which would have been nice given that it was 100 degrees. And as I understand that it’s no fault of Hampton, I was quite disappointed that the waffle makers had broken and there were no waffles or anything else to compensate for it. Over all this was a great hotel and I will definitely return.

This is our second stay at this motel. Very clean and good price to think that it's beachfront! They serve a very large selection of Breakfast foods.

This is a little gem right on the ocean proves looks can be deceiving. The staff are incredibly kind, polite and accommodating. The hot breakfast is excellently, prepared and very organized and clean. This old hotel belies the cleanliness and comfort of its updated rooms. I will be returning to this property and telling others to to stay there as well.

This was a quick weekend getaway, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We have stayed in this hotel a few times in the past. Why? because of location. This time, our room was located on the 9th floor with a balcony and a great view of the Atlantic Ocean. Fantastic, it felt like we were in heaven ❤. The room was clean and well maintained. One of the great amenities of staying here is the free daily breakfast and the great customer service of their employees. Fantastic. Furthermore, the pool is right by the beach ⛱ shores, making easy go and swim in the Atlantic Ocean too. 😀. I want to thank GOD for giving us another opportunity to experience his creation, thank God. Sincerely, Debi and Tony.

Everyone I encountered was amazingly kind and helpful! Rooms are Clean… Clean! View is Amazing especially when u have that balcony to sit in to watch the sunrise or set! Check in/out was a breeze and with a kind smile! Parking is alittle tight but who cares when u have a view like that even from the parking lot lol. And The ladies at the breakfast bar are exceptional! They really made my work-cation a pleasurable experience! Thank you to them both!!!

We spent 6 days here and absolutely loved the property. The proximity to everything was perfect for our family!! HUGE shoutout to Brandy on the 3-11shift…. She is absolute gold for your property, and should be kept at all costs!!!!!!! We can’t wait to come back next year!

Great location, great rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast. Awesome ocean side. One hiccup is parking.

This was one of the nicest hotels we've ever had a chance to stay at and will definitely be returning. The whole hotel was very clean, the beds were comfy and the breakfast was hot and delicious. The staff all go above and beyond even when confronted by an upset customer (not sure why "Karen" was angry, this place is great)! The pool area was very clean and had plenty of lounge chairs to accommodate everyone comfortably though it never had more than a handful of guests as we went on a very breezy October weekend. But hey you didn't have to use the pool as it was right next to the hot tub which did not disappoint. I would recommend this hotel if you have a little more to splurge it's well worth it.

Listen my wife and I got married Saturday 4/22/23 … our wedding was in green cove springs and we live in Broward county so we wanted to get a nice room on the way back… my cousin lives in Daytona so I asked her what hotel she recommends and she told us the Hilton … definitely didn’t disappoint!!! At first I asked for ocean view all the way at the top and the lady Jessica got us an amazing room at the top but as soon as I stepped on the balcony I freaked out (scared of heights) lol… went downstairs and told her and she moved us to the 5th floor, same exact view and it’s amazing… breakfast this morning was so good!!!! Pool and jacuzzi was amazing!!! I love this place!!!

Great Hampton Inn right on the beach. Great service and above average complimental breakfast. Yes, parking late at night is a little challenging but they are almost done with repairs on the parking lot facing the beach. The beach access is now available.
