7-Eleven

We came in at 2AM 5/25/20. Mike was the gentleman working. There are few and far between the types of men that Mike is.

I picked up some wings from the cooler and my girlfriend picked out an Italian Wrap. I proceeded to ask Mike where the microwave was and he told me, then said: “Do you want it heated in the oven instead?” He ended up heating up our food and even pressed one of the wraps for us.

Anyway to the point. Mike offered to help me further than he needed, or was required to. Not just because he took pride in his work, and not because he felt that he needed to as a duty of work, but because he’s acts as a genuine human being.

People take jobs like his for granted much to often. They assume that a worker in a gas station, retail store, service departments etc. are more than happy at all times to do more and more and more for people. And if the customers aren’t treated like kings and queens they throw a fit.

Mike gave us an excellent experience given the late hour, and he deserves more. I wish companies found it in their heart to pay someone in a position like Mikes more than they believe they are worth. The mental toll working in the service industry, no matter how simple the tasks, is immense. And I believe they should be compensated as such.

( .I told her I would leave a review) whoever the blonde young lady is there KEEP HER she has AMAZING customer service and she always helps me when I come in with my son trying to grab a thousand and one things while holding him ….. we are staying across the street and she double bags the items that might burst while walking and is ALWAYS super nice from what I’ve seen

I don't know about other 7/11 but this one has some interesting products. Organic beverages, non-dairy ice cream and a variety of cold pressed organic vegetable juices

Gas station and convenience store. Fresh donuts, ice cream, small grocery selection. Friendly staff.

I've last visited 2yrs. ago pre-covid and this hopefully is still the best for 7-Eleven Orange Juice, Big Gulps and Scratch Offs.

Very friendly clerk. Excellent coffee.
