Thrifty Gypsy

I have been to the thrift store one time. I enjoyed it and definitely got some good deals. I have tried to go to the store multiple times but but she is always closed. I have met other people in the area also trying to go and they say that it's always like that it is very rare to see this thrift shop open. If I'm in the area I don't mind trying. But I certainly wish the hours were consistent in any way shape or form.

The shop owners were simply lovely people, willing to help with everything and talk through prices. They offered very good prices, too, and were willing to make deals for large purchases. The shop is brimming with merchandise all over the place, but it was more cozy and kitschy than chaotic and everything was pretty organized. They were great conversationalists, too. One noticed I was sorting through DVDs, and then brought me a bunch more to sort through - many of which I ended up buying! Great deals, great people, very cool items that you don't find just anywhere. We were visiting from out of town, but I definitely plan to return here when I can!

Lots of junk/treasures to dig through. Decent prices and a friendly proprietor. You just might find something that's been in the back of your mind.

Find what you want, repurpose items, new and old. Don't find it ask they'll call you with in a week with what you wanted.

Came by the store during business hours (2:20 pm on a Friday) and she opened the door and explained that they weren’t open right now because she was babysitting. She also had a dog inside with her that ran outside and she had to get it back inside. Who the hell runs a business like this?!

CUSTOMERS BEWARE! I went to this thrift store recently as they had reopened it after it was closed for 2-3 months and I was inside looking at some stuff behind the counter and the woman who owned the place was showing me those items. Her husband came in from outside and asked if I could help him with something outside and I was thinking he needed help loading something in a car and was glad to help. I was wrong, once we went outside he told me he had video survalience from several months ago of me stealing an item and putting it in my pocket and walking out to my truck (I don't even own a truck) and taking the item out of my pocket and putting it in the "truck" and then leaving the property. This guy is so delusional and wrong on so many levels. He wrongly accused an honest paying customer. He said if I didn't leave his property he was going to call 911 and also said that I was banned from his store. I told him that he had the wrong guy and that I bought stuff from them before and one of those deals that we made involved him selling the item to me. I thought it wasnt worth arguing over as this guy wasn't beleiving a word I said anyway and just told him that I didn't want any trouble and left their property. I have never been treated in this way ever at any other place like this and guess what they just lost a PAYING CUSTOMER and to the people that have read this do yourself a favor and please do the same unless you want to be ridiculed and treated like this too. I would give this place 0 stars if I could!
