Gourmet Chili

Great food, great prices, and great service! I had 2 cheese coneys with a cheese fry. My husband had Steve's double cheeseburger. Our food was EXCELLENT!! Everything was hot and flavorful. My husband said it was one of the best burgers he's ever had.
All of the staff was very welcoming and friendly. And the prices are so reasonable! We found a new favorite place!

My all time favorite is their liver and onion .. it will melt in your mouth... friendly service..always a smile.. wonderful chefs, have never had anything that wasn't good.. we live about a hour away , and visit at least once a month... a must to visit !! Treat your belly 😋

Gourmet Chili has been staring me in the face every time I drive down Monmouth St. It has the disservice of being too close to Dixie Chili, but I decided that it needed a fair shake. After all, it's gourmet.
I stopped in for carry-out, and I needed to give their chili a try. I went with plain chili with some cheese...

People... hear me out. Maybe we've been doing this wrong. We have these ideas in our heads of what the good chili places should be. Skyline, Camp Washington, Dixie, etc.

I'm here to tell you that Gourmet Chili lives up to its name. The chili itself was excellent! It was very meaty, with enough flavor and spice to tease the senses, but not overwhelm. I didn't get the flood of onion flavor that's so pervasive with Gold Star or Dixie. This is now my favorite chili, on par with Camp Washington. I'll definitely be back, and will try some of the other dishes that others seem to love.

Everything was excellent. Great food, excellent service and awesome coffee. i can't believe I have lived here for several years and that this is less then 3 miles from us and we have never been here.. crazy. Crazy good as everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly.

We started with a single cinnamon, powdered sugar pancake and it was amazing. He and I split it and everything about it was right. Add a touch of syrup combined with a the cinnamon and powdered sugar and that it was perfectly cooked and it was just so dang good!! The only problem is that is was very filling and I ordered a full breakfast. lol

I got the "special".. eggs, potatoes, bacon and toast ....the eggs were cooked exactly as I asked- and seasoned perfectly. The same with the potatoes and with the bacon they asked how I wanted it cooked. I love crispy bacon and I look forward to using the leftovers for a sandwich/BLT

Due to the pancake, I took more then half of the meal home and I am looking forward to it for later...

He got the vegetarian omelet and rye toast. He felt just as I did and everything was perfect! Exactly as he would have wanted.

Thankfully the coffee was really, really good as well... literally everything went smoothly...

I asked the cook on the way in what he suggested, and he was happy to answer.. our server was wonderful- as it turns out, both of them are part of the family that owns the restaurant. Really nice people and you can read their story on the menu :)

We took home a couple of cookies- a lemon blueberry one that is so good! It's a bit like a muffin but as a cookie. We both enjoyed this cookie... the chocolate chip one is for our kiddo but it looks really good!

Due to a move we have been eating out a bit more then typical for breakfast and this is by far, one of the more reasonably priced restaurants we have visited recently---for what you get...

Ok- this one really made us glad to have undertaken the Coney Trail. We found a great spot close to home we didn’t know about!

Gourmet Chili meets its name (in taste) and then some with an authentic atmosphere. I mean, when the staff speak Greek to one another, it’s authentic.

The chili has the most unique flavor than any we’ve tried. It’s really tasty! The posted City Beat plaque says it all. It’s a must visit for Cincinnati chili fans.

They are open for breakfast, so we lingered and tried the coffee. It was good! I’ll be back to try breakfast and also for lunch or supper to try the other Greek or American dishes.

One of the best breakfasts I've had in the Cincinnati area. Every time I go, it's consistently solid. Also, the hot sauces at the table are very good. I've been here for dinner a few times, and tried the gyro and 3-way. It was a very large portion for both, and definitely among the best for both that I've had in town. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Everyone is always nice and the food is cook to order very fast and delicious food. They still only take cash but I was perpared

I been going here for years. They have a lot of good food and an awesome Gyro. Always polite and good service. I recommend this place any time and it's also affordable!

It is by far my favorite place.

Gourmet is great every time! I had a pancake and biscuits and gravy. They were both wonderful.

It's a lil hole in the wall, BUT the food was fantastic and the staff was loveable!

Always a great meal for the price, even though the daily special breakfast has increased. Good service with friendly staff. So happy this place is non-smoking, took too long to switch over.
