Bud & Cheryl's Ice Cream Shoppe

Fun place seemingly in the middle of nowhere- but makes for a nice weekend drive. The ice cream is tasty and the shakes are really nice as well. I got the mint chocolate and the family went for chocolate. The “small” was more than enough as mine was two large scoops!

This place is an amazing hidden gem! We all had the burgers, so good, way better than any chain restaurant. We also had tater tots and fried mushrooms, also great and cooked with perfect crispness. The ranch sauce is AMAZING, actually told them they should bottle and sell it! Last but not least SO many ice cream options to choose from and all of ours were creamy and fantastic!!

this is like an old timey place - they way ice cream stands used to be. Super nice kids working there - the ice cream is top shelf and the prices are reasonable. Love this place.
Oh, and they gave our old dog a pup cup - with dog cookie sprinkles. very sweet.

Wonderful find! The burgers are the hand made patties type that all sorts of mom and pops places used to have. Very good burger, and the ice cream was phenomenal! Exhausted parent for me and my wife which was a great mix of bourbon, coffee, and chocolate. My son got Cotton Candy and it was spot on. Great place to go so once this winter is over we will be back. They are seasonal so they are closed during the fall, winter, and early spring.

The ice cream was delicious. They had so many different flavors and mixes to choose from. My husband went with Superman and I went with a peanut butter and caramel swirl. It was scrumptious. You get that Mom and Pop feeling from being there. There were many things to choose from on the grill but we decided not to eat. We had eaten before coming. The food that people were eating looked delicious. If you're looking for a quick treat or some desserts then head on down to Bud and Cheryl's Ice Cream Shop. It's the place to go.

Okay this place is awesome disappointed to see any bad review. I generally take my kids to Culver’s in Nicholasville for a good burger &ice cream experience, so thankful for passing through and seeing this hidden gem. It is a takeout/take home type of place but it is worth it. My son and I ate our food in the parking lot. Who needs to focus on dine in when the food is so good? The burgers were DELICIOUS and my son loved his banana split-real fruit toppings. Prices are all around $4. Let’s just say we will be making this our regular and Culver’s our distant cousin. WE LOVE THIS PLACE.

Great food very budget friendly prices. A little bit of a wait on food but everything is prepared to order so it's worth it. Huge variety of ice cream choices but definitely give the full menu a try!!

Amazing ice cream! Amazing people! If you go once, you’ll go back!!!! The American style grill food is delicious too. If you want a great burger or chili dog, Bud & Cheryl’s is the place to get it.

First time going here and we loved it. The icecream we got was good. It felt to us that this place was a mix of The Big Dipper from back home and Baskin-Robbins.

This the ice cream shop and grill that you remember from simpler times. Family operated. Everything made or grilled to order. Friendly and clean. A complete and authentic throw back with a darn good bacon double cheese burger.

Locally owned and operated! Burgers are made fresh and the ice cream was delicious. I had the raspberry sorbet and my,husband had the ultimate Oreo. Don't forget to order the cheese fries!

Great burgers & ice cream. The onion rings are awesome! There's not a place to eat inside but there is a covered area in the back though.

Its a tad expensive but I tell you what, its was absolutely fantastic! Great food and especially great Ice Cream. Worth every Penny.

They have the best foot and ice-cream. You really need to try them out.

Order more ice cream. Kitty kitty bang bang does not disappoint!
Seating is outside by the road. A little exciting, but the ice cream is worth it!
