Blue Marble Books

Stopped in here for the first time today with my four year old daughter because we always passed it and kept forgetting to check it out! (My daughter loves books) the customer service is the BEST, the employees were so welcoming. The store is inviting and adorably decorated. We went up the the “Big Green Room” that was decorated exactly like the book, “Goodnight Moon”, it was neat! the lady at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure my daughter had a pleasant first experience. Please support this small business! We will certainly be back!!

Took my daughter to find two more books in a series. The displays were all rearranged, but the clerk knew exactly where to find the books we wanted. Every employee of this store is knowledgeable and friendly every time we go.

On this visit, it was too cold for the Secret Garden out back, but we did go upstairs to visit the Great Green Room (from "Goodnight, Moon"). My daughter had fun pointing out the telephone and the kittens and mittens and comb and brush and bowl full of mush and everything else the book mentions. Always a wonderful experience at The Blue Marble.

So cute! I didn't have my daughters with me, but I plan to take them next time we're in the area. They have books and things for older readers too, but the Green Room as they call it (an exact replica from the book Goodnight Moon) is a must-see highlight. Very fun, energetic staff, they're just so passionate about books and reading and kids, it's really inspiring to go there.

My family and I have been customers here for years. Staff is always helpful and polite. They consistently go out of their way to help finding options that conform to often very abstract criteria.

I cannot recommend them more. Is there a 6-stars option? Can I give an 8/5 star rating?

Our little girl (and my wife) loves this place! The owner is very kind, they have a wide range of options available, and the Goodnight Moon room upstairs is a treat. We need more places like this to take children.

My visit here today was wonderful! There are several rooms filled with book options for anyone of any age, well organized and easy to peruse. I especially enjoyed the sections dedicated to local authors and illustrators, including autographed work, and the numerous pieces of art throughout the store by visiting illustrators. The owner was very kind and walked me through the store's history and offerings. He even showed me the darling reading room they have, decorated to match the bedroom from Goodnight Moon! Adorable! I found a great book for a gift for my daughter's teacher and then, as a cherry on top, was the winner of an anniversary contest they were having and now have a gift certificate to use there on my next visit! I will definitely be coming here for any future book needs. It was a very positive experience!

This is a wonderful little shop with nooks for reading and neat little surprises around every corner. The Good Night Moon room is a must see, and the people were very helpful. It has an incredible selection of books for kids of all ages (infants to teens) and a small selection of books for adults. It would be a great place to buy a gift. Can't wait to go back!

This place is a hidden gem. Every time we take our 4 year old son they are so nice and accommodating. We are trying to make this a monthly routine. If you didn't know, the Goodnight Moon Room is awesome.

This whole building made us smile. The real life version of Goodnight, Moon is a treasure. Books for kids and teens and adults. Our whole family loved shopping here.

The selection is wild, the layout is charming, and the employees all truly, truly care and are excited to help you make a selection. They have a room set up exactly like the room from "goodnight moon", which is fun for younger kids. It's also one of the few places that still sells wooden train sets, if you're into that kind of thing.

The cutest bookstore I've ever seen in my life. Very nice people and good service included. Vast book selection. I think there's something for everyone. My friend and I went home with a lot more than we bargained for! No regrets!

This place! Fantastic. Staff was helpful and went above and beyond in helping pick a book that was not too heavy and not too light. Go local. Bring your kid and pop a spot on the couch and let them shop.

Very cool children’s bookstore. They have a great selection and they have their books categorized very well. So it’s easy to find the kind of book you’re looking for. The owner was really nice and gave us a tour of the upstairs Goodnight Moon room. I would definitely recommend this place.

A lovely little mom-&-pop bookshop with a large, family-friendly selection and a friendly, helpful staff. Very sweet people who will order something for you if they don't have it. They often have author signings and fun events.

Blue Marble is an excellent bookstore. They have a large YA section. They will order any book you're looking for,even if it's not a kids book. They also have a rewards program and homeschool discount. They're always really friendly.

It was an amazing children bookstore. Very unique and the staff was very outstanding and nice. I would definitely take my kids there one day.
