Actually ended up having a great time and this was a very last minute quick google search. We needed to be close to the Delaware east stop. BE WARNED: They only accept cash! People who owned the spot and worked there are friendly. We had a beautiful time at the beach. It’s clean, bathrooms were cleaned and smelled good (surprising). I noticed they just let people be. A few people were playing music just mildly loud but not loud enough to be obnoxious and they didn’t bother them. I appreciated that a lot. Let me people just have a good time with family. Overall, I think I’m going back again.

This place is nice and clean. Bathrooms and changing rooms plus a air compressor to blow up tubes. Parking is tight but well worth it 5 for 3 years and up free for 1-2 years old. Water is just right and not many rocks. Bring your own grill and no animals allowed.

If you love spending the evening by water, this is the right place to visit. The wharf welcomes you to have a walk. You can sit and enjoy the gentle breeze. There are some picnic benches so you can come with a group with a packed lunch or snacks. The town beside it is also very cozy and beautiful.

Very clean and a friendly family environment. Water is nice not rough. Many picnic benches and even a covered Pavillion. Clean rest rooms and changing rooms. Best of all its inexpensive by today's standards. Will definitely recommend to friends and we will be back!

Nice small beach. Water is low enough for you to wade pretty far out. The sand is groomed and is a lot better then other beaches in the area, not a lot of rocks in the water either. Air compressor to fill large tubes and such. Changing rooms, shower, bathroom, grills, tables, snack shack. Its $5 per person parking is limited so get there early.

Great place!! When we went they were actually closed because of the weather. We didn't know and were there about an hour when a man came and told us. But he let us pay and stay as long as we didn't mind the "dirty beach". It was clean to us, even the restrooms are nice. Snack bar was closed so I can't comment but it's definitely a place I will go back to

Nice place, small, clean, with fast food services. Only the water is a bit cold. And you must leave at 5:00 pm.

Had an amazing time! My wife and I were both off work for Juneteenth, had found out about this beach via social media and were not disappointed. $5 entrance fee, very clean beach. We got there early and gotta good spot. It did start to pick up around 11am. Met the owner and her mother in the food shack, they were very nice. Only thing is they only accept cash so be prepared for that. Other than that, would highly reccomend!

My husband and I love coming here. We love the white sand that is shipped in. It’s so close to our home we can come for a couple hours and be home by noon. Just like when we live in Jersey. When we would be on the beach in the early AM and home by 1. Before the “bennys” showed up.

The beach is great for little ones. Not deep can walk out a good distance. The personnel are so friendly and cater to your needs.

Their snack shack is great and the facilities are clean and roomy.

An all around enjoyable experience.

Very nice gem of a beach. I love all the signage and cute things around the grounds. Place is clean - great place for young children, not expensive and very close to my home. Beach is clean, bathrooms, changing rooms, snack shack. They do a very good job there. This is my go to beach after 10 years of not going to the beach. Great beach and I wish I could go every day.

(Review Update) Upon our most recent visit, I can definitely say the prior bad experience was a random one time issue. The owners remembered us from the prior season and were extremely friendly from the second we arrived. The review did get brought up, but there were no hard feelings towards either party. I knew it wasn't their fault and CMBC really makes a great effort making sure their patrons enjoy the time they spend while visiting. My faith has been restored and will continue to enjoy this hidden gem.

Usually this place is great, especially for my two year old son, but today is absolutely ridiculous. My family and a few other families are constantly having to walk around and get our toys back. I understand kids play and kids share, but you don't just take and you make sure to put stuff back when finished. Several people have already left and we're contemplating leaving ourselves. Hopefully this is just random, but no way in hell will I keep my composure if this were to happen again.

I do want to emphasize the bad experience had nothing to do with management/ownership, but the result of a group/party with a large amount of kids and not nearly enough parental supervision.
