Shiners on the Levee

Went for brunch to watch the Bengals on big TVs while sitting on comfy couches. Enjoyed brioche stuffed French toast. Jameson chaser.

My friends liked the Shiners breakfast sandwich and sides. We got cheap pitchers of beer and good cocktails.

DJ Vinny was awesome. Also, great bartenders and servers.

Great food and the live music was. We had a very large party and they handled it great. Thanks to the servers.

Had a lovely dinner last week. Large portions & sides easily shareable. Huge menu. Wines reasonably priced. Looking forward to making this a regular stop. Can’t wait to try weekend brunch!

Came on Monday wing night! 75 cent wings are amazing. Get the "who dewy" sauce. Ranch is delicious! Smoked and unique !

Nashville meets Northern Kentucky. Incredible selection of BBQ and unique accompaniments. Highly recommend their fried halloumi cheese sticks and candied pork belly - seriously the best.

Great spot for industry night specials and late night food, plus 75 cent wings on Mondays. Other nights they have karaoke and trivia, and live bands on the weekends.

The shiner sandwich was outstanding and their sweet potato fries are made fresh and delicious. Catfish seasoning is delectable and broccoli crowns are definitely worth a try.

The smokehouse chili loaded was very flavorful and filling. Not spicy like other joints. Will definitely order again. Molly was very attentive and great personality.

I teach the line dancing every week and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! The owner Kevin and all the staff have been incredibly nice and SO welcoming. Not the mention the atmosphere is awesome and the food is amazing! Also they have live music every weekend! Definitely a must if you haven’t checked out this place yet :)

We came to this place about an hour before our movie to grab a quick early dinner and it did not disappoint! The menu had a large variety of bbq options all smoked in house. We had the Brisket Dip and the Shiners Shorty (grilled cheese and pork) sandwiches. They were so good but the dip was a little small but tasted amazing. They have several housemade BBQ sauces and hot vinegar which we tried and loved. The vinegar was perfect on the fries and the traditional bbq had a sweet pineapple tange. There are so many special events throughout the week including trivia, wing specials, and live music. WILL BE BACK!

Great atmosphere! If you’re in Newport, and you’re looking for bbq pulled pork for a good price, this is the place for you!

I played a gig here and it was my first time. The environment is very modern, kinda country western. There is plenty of family/communal seating along with a full bar area, and a lounge area.

The stage is beautiful there for the artist. Mega screen for games is right behind the stage.
Food was delicious as well. I really Iiked the preparation of the salad!

Food was great, live music was great and our server Josie was beyond fantastic!

We parked in the parking garage and walked through and outside to the restaurant. We tried to eat dinner there on Saturday night about 8pm but the wait was nearly two hours…and the kitchen closes at 10pm. The music sounded good but i was starving so didn’t stay. We went back the next morning and got there just as they opened at 11am. The server greeted us and served water immediately. Everything on the menu looked amazing. I had the Shiners Shorty which was basically the ultimate grilled cheese with pulled pork and pickled onions with cheddar cheese inside of brioche bread and the outside had a crusty, crispy layer of Muenster cheese. The pulled pork was fabulous and the gooey cheese inside and crispy cheese outside was perfection!
Hubs had the brisket dip with white KY sauce-the hint of horseradish is what did it for me. The brisket was tender and flavorful, the bread toasty on the outside and soft on the inside and the Demi glaze au jus was a thick and rich delight!
The sauces were made in house. The bourbon sauce was vinegary and a hint of mustard. Which was my fave. I’m so glad we went back for the food because it was well worth it!!
The restaurant was beautiful laid out and decorated. I’m a wedding planner and couldn’t help but think what an absolute perfect venue for a reception!! It appears that it’s a restaurant by day/evening and a super cool bar and dance floor by night.
If there had been a Sunday brunch with a band and mimosa/Bloody Mary specials, and maybe even corn hole on the patio (with heaters) I may have never left!!! (Hint hint to the ownership!)

I would give 10 stars if I could! Loved it.

Imagine a thunderstorm'd Monday evening after a Reds delayed game tied 2's in the 7th. Took the suggestion of a Shiner's Shorty - pulled pork on cheddar/Swiss-laden Texas grilled toast, w/sweet onions! Fantastic flavor.
Service was equally phenomenal.
Cleanliness was also stellar.

My family and I had a great time for our first time here for the weekend. Our server name was Chris and he was sweet and friendly. Food was delicious however the baked bean hummus was interesting lol. Will be coming back again.

Had good food and good service. The atmosphere was great. Had food playing games out on the patio after we ate.

We were lucky enough to stop by yesterday and be greeted and served by a bartender named Rocky. Not only was he amazing in his service but also wanted to go above and beyond in terms of quality and satisfaction. For example I really wanted a Moscow mule but unfortunately they were out of Ginger Beer and Rocky assured me he could make something similar if not better. Wow was it even better then I imagined I ended up asking him and now will be requesting that as the regular. His professionalism demeanor and overall joy to serve us during our short stay in Cincy will make the next time we come here Shiners being a required stop. Thanks so much Rocky best of luck!

We got there on the last warm day of the year on their soft opening. We ordered some beers and bread pickles appetizers. Very good. The bbq selection was patiently explained but i forgot again , it needs labels but tastes great. I had the pull pork and wife had the sandwich. Very good but no line dancing yet. Was confused about the restrooms. The girlsroom sign is visible but the mensroom sign is down the hall and the shared sink makes it look like you could accidentally go the wrong way.

Wow. What a deal and look at the size of these 75 cent wings on Mondays from 4-10. Homemade ranch, celery and carrots too! Wings are smoked and dry rubbed. Can come dry or with yummy sauces. The Bengal Strip one is yummy.
