The new patient visit my husband and I experienced at the Centreville office of Soistman Dentistry far exceeded our expectations. The competence and level of professionalism, along with a warm welcome by the entire staff, confirmed our choice of an excellent practice that will meet all our future dental needs. We are quite impressed and happy we found them!

From the time you enter the door, Courtney makes you feel at home with her friendly greeting. This was my first cleaning with your practice. I was very impressed with Stephanie, Dental Hygienist. She was very friendly and gave me an exceptional cleaning, gentle & thorough. Additionally, Dr Gorin, I can’t say enough kind words about him. So knowledgeable & personable! I’m so fortunate to have found the Soistman Family Dental practice & blessed that Dr Gorin is my dentist.

Excellent dental practice! Dr. Soistman is the best! He also has a part-time Dentist, which I briefly met, whom also knowledgeable as well as friendly. The dental staff are excellent , kind & knowledgeable. Office staff again is helpful, kind and really tries to accommodate a patient when unexpected events occur. This is my 2nd time taking my toddler here and she loves it. The staff is so kind, they really make sure she is comfortable by explaining everything in a fun way. She absolutely loves coming here and gets so excited for her visits. Best dentist around hands down!!

I was beyond happy with my experience with Soistman Family Dentistry. I just moved to Centreville and most of the dentists were booked around 6 a month wait time. I called Soistman dentistry and to my surprise they saw me the same day. Everyone (dentist, receptionist, hygienist) there was extremely pleasant and made me feel very comfortable. Anna was my hygienist. She is very personable and I could tell she loved her job. Plus, I was her last customer on a Friday, and she did not hurry in the least. Lastly, there is enough parking spaces. Might not be important to some folks, but it was to me. :)

This was the best dental experience I have ever had. The moment I walked in the door I was greeted with a warm welcome. Melanie immediately introduce herself and her associate Toni. Both were so welcoming and kind. The waiting room was comfy and smelled like a feild of wild flowers. Anna was my hygienist. She apologized right away for my wait as she called my name which was only 5 mins past my appointment time which is no wait at all to me. Anna gave me a tour of the whole place before taking me to the exam room. She made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. During my cleaning she explained everything that she was doing. This made me feel really confident in what was to come. She checked in on me often making sure I was comfortable and not in pain. After my cleaning Dr. Kaur came in, she was so friendly and listened to my concerns as odd as they seemed. She gave me a quick check up and said she would check in to my concerns and check back soon. She left welcoming me to the family. I left feeling great with a bueatiful white smile! Thank you all so much. I am excited for my next visit!

I have extreme dental anxiety. When i went in to get my crown taken off, i had kelly as my dental assistant and she truly was amazing. I have never felt so safe and secure with having her there. She comforted me and made me feel comfortable. And of course i had dr. kaur who was also extremely comforting and amazing as well. I was so thankful

I always have hated going to the dentist. Not anymore. This is the best dentist I've ever been to. Very pleasant and professional. Everything they did was explained thoroughly. Highly highly recommend. 👍👍👍

68 years old and the best dental practice I have ever been to! Everyone there is great, they cover all your dental needs and the facility is neat and well equipped.

When I walked in to Dr Soistman’s office for my appointment I was extremely terrified, because of past dental experience going wrong and very painful. I was greeted and welcomed by Alyssa who by the was is outstanding!!!!! Alyssa showed me around the office let me know what was going to be going on before it happened and never once left my side. DrKaur wow she is also outstanding, and kind very gentle and soooo patient!!! Needless to say I will be going back there and makeing this my permanent dental practice. Alyssa let me hold her hand she talked me all the way through my whole procedure as well as Dr kaur. If you are looking for a dental professional that is very kind and caring especially if you are or I should say we’re terrified of the dentist then this practice is your place!!! Thank you ladies so much!!!!!! 🌼

Soistman Family Dentistry exceeded my expectations as they offered and performed services that were both never offered to me at a dentist’s office prior and very valuable tools to have in my preventative care toolbox. Heather is one of those very resources, a fount of knowledge and skills to behoove my oral health! She set me at ease and took into account my comfort and discomfort levels with various parts of my visit and cleaning procedure. Sensitive teeth means metal, cold, hot, even wet, are difficult and at the edge of painful when contacting my tooth surfaces. She took that all into account, checking in with me repeatedly and adjusting her method accordingly.
Illness for years led to me worrying about its effects on my enamel and gingival health, but again, Heather set my mind at ease, informing me with a smile under that mask that I had good teeth and almost good gums except for a small area of inflammation at the neck of a premolar.
I honestly reported I don’t floss almost ever, and she reviewed why I should try again and again to make it part of my preventative oral health routine. She also introduced me to the idea of a water flossing tool and how to adjust my angle of brushing to best behoove my gum line.

The front office is small, but clean and welcoming. The seating is comfortable, and get ready to use it because your wait might be 30 minutes even though you’re new to their practice and they need to make a good impression on you. It was the only disadvantage to my visit. The music was calming and the provided news and entertainment literature amusing and current.
The hygienist room was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Heather performed X-ray placement and capturing digitally, showing me my images immediately in real time on a large screen monitor across from my chair. She cleaned my teeth with individually sterilized instruments, and the very modern ultrasonic scaler which she used carefully knowing my sensitivity. I can have difficulty not swallowing and aspirating a little during wet parts of a cleaning and Heather pivoted, changing her MO to best benefit myself. No other hygienist has ever thought to suction more frequently and use less water at a time. No other has guided me to change how I brush my tee to and been so detailed and well communicated as to how I should mechanically remove plaque and bacteria from my tooth surfaces and gumline.

Heather gave me a goodie bag with my new toothbrush, toothpaste, a Soistman pen, lip balm, and travel mug! Very nice! Dr. Kahr fully examined my mouth and reviewed my digital X-rays, reporting I had good oral health despite my acute on chronic illness. She reassured me of all the dentists’ availability for surgical procedures, including extractions and root canals!, as well as last minute emergent appointments for oral pain or damaged teeth. I described a scare I had in July, and being referred to a periodontist just for diagnosis, let alone treatment. Dr. K would’ve taken care of my needs in house, without referral necessary for my pain and extreme sensitivity to cold, heat, or moisture.
Checkout was smooth sailing, as I invested in their preventative care plan aka service, of which the staff were knowledgeable and helpful clearly communicating what was covered by the plan. They were very friendly earlier as well, updating me about the schedule and waiting. They offered bottled water, too. Scheduling my next appointment was easy and modern, as well as Luddite for my printed sensibility and needs.
The building itself is very unassuming, a basic small brick structure with ample parking in the rear.

So I’m a new patient and I’ve had pretty traumatizing experiences at dentist offices, but the people at this office are beyond incredible and compassionate. Special shoutouts to Courtney, Anna, Kelly, Layla, and Dr Kaur (I’m missing one lol). You all made me feel so seen, hopeful, and cared for! After all these years, I’m so happy to have finally found my home dentist ❤

Hygienist was great. She listened to my concerns and did not irritate teeth that are still sensitive from previous work. Passed along info to Dentist so she did not cause nerve irritation. Did an outstanding job on my cleaning!

Came in to hygienist Denise today knowing 2 teeth needed attention. She was very thorough asking the right questions so I did not need root canals, catching this early. Dr. G, assisting today was very friendly and credited Denise in many ways and taught her more to assist him and she did to her credit and he went out of his way to tell her so, SO refreshing to see a man be so accommodating to a young lady in a great way to lift her up. Refreshing in our society these day and Kudos to all!
My 87 year old friend there at the same time to find out that Dr. G realized she was from Long Island, and even Nassau county after seeing her and she got such a quick kick out of it. Told her he did not peg me from Long Island and Suffolk County. Lol

Got an Appointment quickly for a cleaning. Found some more work that was needed and did it the same day. Very friendly and professional.

The staff was so helpful, polite and the Dr. explained everything that would happen during the procedure. It was pain free experience. The doctor treated me exceptionally and was very kind and gentle.

I had 2 teeth removed yesterday. I was very nervous. They were so kind,caring and professional. When I felt the slightest pain they were quick to stop and make sure that there wasn't any pain. I highly recommend them. So much so my husband now wants to get his teeth looked at.
