Harbor Shack

This Harbor Shack was packed! Our first time visiting and we truly understand why we had to wait a half hour. The food is phenomenal, the atmosphere is lively, the view is beautiful and the staff friendly. The steamed Shrimp was cooked perfectly. The cream of crab soup had lots of back fin in it. Our salads were fresh and cold. The Chicken Chesapeake was delicious and the Shrimp and crab mac & cheese was super creamy with a ton of shrimp in it.

The prices are spot on and the portions just right. You can sit inside, outside or at one of the two bars. The staff is amazing they really bust their tails. Don't forget to check out the gift shop.

Great location and food was excellent. Can't wait to go back again. Totally worth the drive from NJ. Had crab fries, oysters, and not pictured crab cake sandwiches that were outstanding!

The Harbor Shack is one of the best places on the Bay. The quality off the food consistently exceeds the price. Management has hired excellent professional bartenders, servers, and helpers to keep things moving. On top of that, it’s just a fun place. You have a dining room, a bar, and a covered outdoor area that’s dog friendly. If you’re driving expect asphalt, gravel, and lawn parking. If you’re boating, it’s got a nice marina alongside. The menu is large, varied and fresh. Expect a crowd and a wait if you’re visiting during peak hours. The wait is bearable because there’s a lot of seating, and you can order from the bar. Expect a crowd of locals and boat folks. Be prepared to enjoy yourself. READ THE DISCLAIMER ON THE 1st PAGE OF THE MENU from management. My only complaint is that it isn’t open year round. I believe they could turn a solid profit in the offseason, too. Enjoy yourself, and don’t be an a$$hole.

Stopped in for dinner. Atmosphere is amazing. Right on the water with patio seating options. Staff was wonderful!! Very helpful, polite, funny and inviting.
Food was ok... the cream of crab soup tasted like flour. Period.
The ribeye was flavorful and asparagus cooked to perfection.
Would recommend.

Service was excellent! They always make sure they reserve us a table! Usually there's 12 or more of us!

First time in Rock Hall and we tried one restraint and they were all over the place the right hand didn’t know what the left was doing . We stumbled across your restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. However one thing you should have 2 bar tenders at the large bar just my opinion., the young lady that was tending did a great job but was running like crazy ! I ordered a club sandwich and my wife ordered the crab cake again pleasantly surprised the food was awesome . My club was perfect and the crab cake was a bit spicy but excellent none the less . The hostess was awesome very polite and helpful our servers were great !! We will definitely return . Thank you to everyone!!

service was good. food was plenty. Music was good atmosphere nice. Took a chance with the "seafood nachos" kinda weird combo.. not my favorite.BUT it was better the next day.. Cold! 😁. The stuffed Cod was delish and my friend fell in love with the hush puppies and Onion Rings!

Excellent service and delicious food. Hubby had Chicken Chesapeake and I did the fish and chips. BEST homemade fresh mozzarella sticks I've had in ages!!

The food here is good, and the service is very good. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. They have dock facilities for those who want to boat in. It's a popular place during late spring to early fall. So don't be surprised if it's a little crowded and noisy. We usually dine here when we're in the area.

Cute little dock bar with great views! Good food and service. Prices comparable. Dinner reservations recommended but you can order and eat at the bar.

You can't go wrong.. The Shack is the go to place for lunch/dinner or light fare in Rockhall. THE BEST SEASONAL PLACE IN KENT COUNTY BY FAR!!!
You can eat inside or out as well as seating at the bar..
Staff is super friendly and they has tasty cocktails!
On certain occasion there is entertainment (live bands).. It's just an all around good time to mingle with friends or meet new people! 🎉

Beautiful view of the harbor and absolutely delicious Maryland crab soup and crab cake sandwich. Only slightly negative aspect was the amount of flies buzzing around, but that's to be expected in this environment.

Crab Cakes and Maryland Crab Soup among the best I've ever enjoyed.
My companion enjoyed the supurb shrimp bisque, steamed clams in a delicious white wine/clam juice broth, and the nicely spicy Louisiana shrimp and sausage.

8 of us ate here and we enjoyed the variety of seafood on the menu! First for me was the oysters with cheddar cheese and bacon!I would do that again

Great place to eat. Very laid back and right on the water! The drinks were strong so watch out. Family friendly and super great hangout vibe after the sun goes down.

Great menu and service. Right on the water with fantastic view. Top local dining when in Rock Hall. Lots of friendly people. Great seafood selections and sandwiches. Always busy but plenty of parking.

We had a really nice time here. The food was great. Good menu and a very good drink selection. The view is one of the best in town. Parking is sometimes a challenge. But be patient.

It was so nice to feel normal during these COVID19 times. They had things set up so everyone felt comfortable and safe. The staff was amazing and our food was delicious as always. Best crab dip! Looking forward to more visits this summer!

My favorite place to go in Rock Hall! Great Bar atmosphere on the water! Family oriented! Great food with very reasonable prices! Best staff around!
