Highly recommend this brewery! First time stopping by and couldn't be more impressed. Been to well over 20 breweries in the Cincinnati and surrounding areas. This is the most modern functioning we've been to. Self services taps and food, employees there to help you if needed tough. Staff is very friendly and we got the back story of how the brewery came to be. Such a awesome experience!

So far my absolutely hands down favorite brewery in Cincinnati!!!! Build your own pizza was awesome the beers are awesome! I do wish they had shirts with the design of their beer logos!!! The patio in the summer I’m sure is awesome as they have a stage!!! I really wish I could give it more than 5 stars!!!!

We celebrated our daughter’s 30th birthday at Big Ash. We reserved the party room and the staff made the planning so easy. The food was great. The staff was friendly and super responsive and everyone had a great time. We will definitely be back to celebrate more family events at Big Ash!

If you haven’t tried Big Ash Brewing on the east side I’d highly recommend it. I’ve been there a couple times now and have always had great experiences. The food is solid, a lot of good options. Everything is fresh and flavorful. Their pizzas are personal flatbread types and a really tasty. They have several crust options. Lots of good bar food type offerings. Even good salads. It’s a brewery so there is beer! They have some solid offerings. And best of all is the pour system. You get a card and then pour your own beer. You’re charged by the oz, so if you want to try all of them you can do small glasses.

I recently hosted a surprise 30th birthday party for my fiancé on the patio and it was the perfect space! We were lucky it was a sunny November day and the space provided tons of light & warmth. We catered pizza and salad which everyone enjoyed! Everyone also loved the serve yourself style tap room and all the different alcohol options. They allowed us to bring decorations and music and were kind enough to help us get set up & make sure we had everything we needed! The staff was truly so kind, accommodating, and helpful. I highly recommend hosting an event here!

Stopped in over the weekend because I really wanted pizza and my boyfriend wanted a good beer. I was blown away by how good the sauce was! I could have drank it! My boyfriend loved the pizza and he's really picky. We loved the beer tap self serve. It was really cool to try and amount you wanted. We tried a dessert waffle and ended up taking one Togo! Can't wait to come back and try the strawberry one!!

I cannot speak highly enough of Big Ash Brewing - it is a must-visit! Our first visit left us thoroughly impressed. Having explored numerous breweries in the Cincinnati and its vicinity, we were pleasantly surprised by the modern and efficient operation here. Their self-service taps and food options are convenient, and the staff is always there to lend a helping hand if required. The employees are not only helpful but incredibly friendly; they provided board games and live music. It truly was an amazing and memorable experience!

Nice atmosphere for a brewery. Dogs allowed and food is served. The self-pour setup is interesting and when I am literally watch my tab rise as I pour, I had much less desire to have more.

I had a salad and my friend had a pizza, both were delicious. They have a full bar, sodas, beer, wine, sodas, and dog treats; what more do you need?!

There was plenty of parking and the staff was very friendly. I plan to go back for sure.

Covid friendly! This might be my new favorite beer spot. Pay by the ounce beer on tap with over 20 flavors to choose from. Flight paradise. The food was mostly pizza with some tasty appetizers like chicken and cauliflower to spice things up. Great place to explore new flavors or make great memories

Nice brewery with a large outdoor patio area with a stage. They have a beer tap wall where you pour your own beers and are charged per ounce. It's nice because you can get small samplings to find what you like without paying a lot to do it. They also have food available for a reasonable price. Large parking lot with lots of free parking.

I love the tap region and the big screen. The outdoor patio is huge looks like it would be a fun place in the summer. Picked up another growler to add to the collection.

Scott, simply said, is awesome. Took us out of towners and treated us with kindness and gave us a tour. Enjoyed banter and talk of great beer, being a brewer myself I yearn for these conversations. Scott made this good experience and exceptional one. Beer was on point, tables set up is great (you can see the game from all points of view) and just an overall homey experience with great company. Highly recommend and again, Scott you’re the best!

Big Ash Brewery provides a unique self service model to the brewing industry!

When entering the location, you are prompted to check in and provide your payment option to the employee. They link your credit card to a card you will use for beer, drinks, and food at the facility. The spot provides an outdoor patio, bar section, and an open cafeteria style seating space. There is plenty of space to hold meetings, events, etc with WiFi available. There is a large projection screen and multiple TVs for sports. The seats are a little tough being that they are blocks of wood and not very comfortable but doesn’t hurt the experience.

After checking in, you use your card to order. There are two self servicing food stations where you order food. Great concept but these tended to get very crowded upon observation. I would recommend getting more devices (not as practical) or spreading them a little apart. It appeared groups would stand together and decide what to eat so it became overcrowded. For the ones not drinking, they have soda options. The designated driver (DD) option have drinks for free which is a cool concept! It is very kid friendly but there are limited juice options visibly available. If there are options maybe put them on a sign to ask the bar. In addition, there were a lot of people confused on how to use the devices. Maybe put simple instructions to help guide the customers.

We ordered two pizzas. We had the Vampire slayer on cauliflower crust and the Za-Preme pizza. The Cauliflower crust was amazing and a great gluten free option. The mix of garlic with cheese provides a palate pleaser. The Za-Preme pizza combo provided a good mix. The crust was doughy and tasty. Can’t wait to try more food there!

Tons of beer options! All the beers I had were excellent. Pour as much as you want! You pay for it by the ounce! It gives you the option to try a variety of beers.

Overall, it’s a great concept! The atmosphere was awesome. The food was delicious! Every Big Ash beer I had I loved! Check this place out!

Really enjoyed the atmosphere here. Very easy to self-serve beer and self-order food such as Servatii's pretzels / beer cheese and Zablong Pizza! Highly recommend checking this place out.

What a great local place to support!! 👏 They have such a variety to match any taste, meal, or mood you might be experiencing. Now they've added canned options in addition to the Growlers & Howlers. And cocktails to go! They provided fast & friendly curbside service: if you have health concerns, or if you are just exhausted at the end of a long day of work is and prefer to drink in your PJs. It's a win any way you slice it! My favorite pick is Dreaming Cows. 💚💚💚. Seriously. Try it!

Arrived right at opening with my father this past Saturday. The staff was warm, welcoming, and super helpful. The staff showed us around the self serving beer and food ordering. The self serving beer was neat because one could try before going for a full glass. They change up some of their food monthly, one is the pizza. I got the pickle/ranch monthly pizza and it was amazing, super yummy. My father got the Italian sub which was just as yummy. Great place to hang by yourself, with friends, or even bring up the family and kids! Cheers!

We hadn't been in a while, but gave it another try and it was such a pleasant experience! We showed up early for trivia to eat and ordered a large salad to share, and the small Cuban pizza and pickle pie pizza. The salad was huge and very fresh plenty to share. The Cuban had tons of meat it was very flavorful literally a Cuban sandwich on pizza crust. The pickle pie pizza was so unique. All I can say is if you like pickles and ranch dressing this is for you! Absolutely delicious! We went outside for trivia ... so fun! It was a beautiful evening ! You should stop in for sure! Oh, and the Mexican lime lager and honey vanilla ale were delicious, also! Both very refreshing.

My wife and I absolutely love Big Ash. They always have an incredible variety of beers available and they're all amazing. There's something for everyone. I personally love the self serve system they have with the beers so I can I try several different ones each visit. My favorite is the Backbeat coffee blonde; it won Cincy's favorite beer a few years back. We also love their salads and pizzas and there's always events of some sort they're hosting. Big Ash is a definite must visit if you've not been before.

A much needed addition to the Mount Washington and Anderson area.

Occasionally the east side of town is overlooked due to the attractions in Rookwood, Kenwood, Downtown and OTR, but this brings that brewery feeling and great food without having to travel downtown.

Awesome food and unique business style. It will only continue to grow in popularity with the additions of luxury apartments in the area.
