So glad I visited here during my trip to Biloxi! Not only does this Museum house amazing buildings to learn about history, but the exhibits within those buildings are truly wonderful! They have classes for students and adults, and even a café to enjoy coffee or food while you're on the premises. Definitely worth a visit!!!

Stunning architecture by none other than Frank Gehry and a collection of local and regional artworks in several galleries. Located right on the Mississippi coast, the Ohr-O'Keefe Museum is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

The Kids Pottery class was amazing. I’m glad my daughter had the opportunity to try something different. The instructor was very patient and informative with the class. The class size was small which allowed room for personal encouragement for the kids. Tickets were purchased online via website. Aprons and tools provided. Such a great experience.

Very nice museum. Has lots of local art. The pottery exhibit is amazing. I sat and watched the video in one of the galleries about the world famous potter Mr. Ohr. Its a great bit of history, and a wonderful story. A must see if you have the opportunity.

Museum masterpieces of art here, both inside and outside!
Having been an architectural fan, I was already familiar with the sculptural work of Frank Gehry, designer of the Guggenheim Bilbao in Spain and the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.
I was also friends with descendants of the featured artists, who were proud of the reputation for their unique style of art.
As if knowing and hearing about it isn’t good enough, here seeing is believing!
To think years ago I had lived and danced amongst the trees here. Now the buildings are dancing with them!

We made a trip to Biloxi and the museum was on our list of destinations. The buildings were beautifully designed and we really enjoyed the works of George Ohr. Staff was very polite and helpful and the cost for the museum is reasonable! Amazing experience to see in person if you are ever in the area. Highly recommend!

Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art is beautiful and amazing! The art is on the inside exhibits and the architectural design of each building. The entire museum is expression of the creative mind. The Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art is a place of peace and relaxation. If you want to express your artistic abilities, the is a room where you can sign up to make pottery and another location of K12 painting workshops. Stop by for a time you will never forget. If you found this review helpful, like and share the review. Thanks and have a wonderful day!

This was a great adventure date for my boyfriend and I. Lots of amazing Installion art, as well as awe inspiring pottery (my words) being able to freely roam through each building was nice. The historical sites were awesome as well.

One of my favorite places in the area! The exhibitions are always good with great works of art. Dean Mitchell's paintings are incredibly beautiful and I consider myself lucky to been able to see the this time. There is always something new to appreciate here.

The staff are friendly and informative, the Moran, Miller and Ohr exhibits were stunning, and the architecture is so fun. Unfortunately, not all of the buildings are finished, but we'd love to come back when they are. Really great place and right on the beach!!!

My husband and I absolutely loved this little museum. We spent 2 hours here. Don't get in a hurry. Talk to the artists, instructors, and docents. Make sure you visit the gift store. Lots of local art work for sale. Remember, buy art from artist who are living, the dead ones don't need the money!😊

Well worth the drive from New Orleans for both the famed potter and the architectural marvel.

We visited OOMA yesterday and had a wonderful experience. The exhibits were beautiful and inspiring. I've been following the museum's progress for decades, ever since I first learned about Ohr. The museum's inclusion of additional material related to Gulf coast art and history was welcome and interesting and we loved the exhibit on African-American artists. Staff and volunteers were friendly, very knowledgeable, and courteous. The buildings and setting were lovely, with views across the water. Last but not least, Joshua at OOMA's Trinity Cafe served us an amazing lunch of fresh, tasty, bountiful, attractive, and very affordable food. We had baked and smothered chicken, fresh grilled green beans, baked sweet potato, a fruit "cup" (actually a huge bowl), and lemon meringue pie. Thanks OOMA, we are looking forward to our next visit to this Biloxie jewel!

Great art museum and priced very well at $10 for adults. Less if you have qualified discounts (military, student, retired, etc.)

I ventured out here just hoping to see some different art. They ended up having some really interesting artist spotlights, and some very helpful staff. The cafe inside the main building has some nice treats. The architecture of the museum is fantastic. The gift shop spotlights local artists and has some really genuinely great work for sale. I stopped by just hoping to enjoy some art, but ended up chatting with staff and having a great time!

Great experience. You won't view pottery like this anywhere else. Each piece is a unique treasure. Was surprised at how many different mediums of art were displayed in several unusually shaped separate buildings . Enjoyed shopping in the gift shop. Found restored old house to be very interesting. Highly recommend that you check out this museum.
