Keesler Billeting, Tyer House, Bldg 470

It was great here. Having a kitchenette was great. Staff were friendly. Coffee dispenser available along with cocoa and hot water for tea is good.

Are you kidding me?!!! This is by far the best temporary lodging facility for all ranks in the history of the Armed Forces. I'm visiting my son who will attend school here for four months. His room is perfect... Not too big, but not small at all. The kitchen is full as is the refrigerator. The gym is across the street and his classroom is about a mile away - one way. The ladies at the front desk, the cleaning service, and the maintenance gentlemen are, to the person, respectful, helpful, and seem to be enjoying what they do. I'm already thinking of coming back to Keesler AFB because I know accommodations are how they should be: Service with honesty to our men and women in uniform. Bravo to the management and employees of Tyer House (yes, "Tyer" and not "Tyler"). That is all.

Really love the staff- very friendly! The rooms are great. Only downside being on base- feels like the SF folks are playing musical chairs with the gates. Open the gates! CLOSE THE GATES!! So confusing. Apparently only a handful remain open at all times. Other than that- would recommend the Tyre House.

From the reviews I was skeptical, but honestly it was a great stay. The room was large and comfortable. AC was cool and the room came with a dehumidifier. I had an enjoyable stay with no complaints. The AC went out one time after a thunderstorm but maintenance fixed it quickly.

This is a good Military Billeting place to stay. We had a an excellent experience here. The rooms were clean and large. We had 2 bedrooms. One room had 2 twin beds and the other had a queen bed with a TV in the room. We had a dining table and 4 chairs. We had a sofa,2 chairs, a coffee table and a large tv on a hutch The kitchen had a full size refrigerator and stove. Kitchen was stocked with everything you needed to cook and clean with. A coffee maker and a toaster. They also had a microwave. I recommend bringing a scrubber sponge for washing pots. They have a dishwasher with soap to put in it. We had a good 3 days there. We were next to the base hospital. The gas station was around the block and down the street. They have a Shopette and Popeyes chicken there.The Division Road gate was the gate we used the most. They have only have 2 gates getting on the base. Part of Division road is closed so pay close attention to the road signs. Free fresh brewed coffee in the lobby was great. They also had tea bags.They had some items for sale. Toiletries ,snacks and drinks. Great place for everyone. Staff does a great job of being helpful and professional at their jobs.

This review is for lodging at the Tyer House (there are other lodging locations at Keesler AFB). Overall great accomodations. Refrigerator/freezer/microwave in the room. The HVAC system actually works great! Room was nice and cool. WiFi is free for guests and works great. I was able to stream video using their WiFi and had zero issues. The laundry room in the basement is large and free for guests (pics posted below). Parking is plentiful and spacious enough for a 26ft U-Haul plus trailer. Highly recommend the Tyer House. Compared to other Air Force Inns/base lodging, this is probably the best I've stayed in.

Beautiful place to stay. My uncle was a retired marine and died so my aunt had our whole family stay on the base. It was so nice to all be together. Our room was like being in a small apartment. We had everything we needed and then some. Highly recommend it for anytime though.

I had such a great experience at the Tyer House during my 6 weeks stay on Keesler. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet. The staff was super friendly and helpful, too! I honestly expected the worst from what I heard and read regarding Keesler Air Force Inns but I 'am a happy guest. Literally no complaints here. Thank you for a great stay!

As an e-4 I paid $44 for a private room and a shared bathroom. I arrived after dark and the staff at the desk were very nice, giving me great directions to the building my room was in. Room included a mini fridge with freezer, microwave, iron etcetera. No complaints!

Stayed on the 3rd floor in one of the two bedroom suites with my father. The amenities were great and easy to access. Was impressed that the room I stayed in had it's own temperature controls and ceiling fan.

It's not a luxury hotel by any stretch of the imagination, but they are (usually) kind, and the rooms are good for me. The price was excellent, and I did not see any mold or mildew, as people may question it near the beach.

Very comfortable accommodations at TLF. Full kitchen, comfortable bed and pillows, and everything was clean. We had a very satisfying one night stay with our 2 animals.

Great place to stay, suite for 60$, dehumidifier and floor fan in the rooms, free laundry on site. Only negative was there wasn't an elevator in bldg 2003 but that's not worth knocking off a star. Best value on the buloxi beach.

There are several locations on base that fall under the Inn Keesler. I stayed at Simmons and it was better than hoped for. Clean, and looked newly furnished. Small room with built in mini kitchen (mini fridge, sink, cabinets, microwave.) Small bathroom as well but everything you need. Came with desk, drawers, big TV, and wifi. Laundry room within the complex and near the Bx.

Always a pleasure staying here. Checking in is simple and quick and the rooms are nice and roomy. Snacks can be purchased at the front desk(drinks, chips, candy, beer, etc.). Handicap parking is very limited in front of the Inn so is you need that access it may not be available.

Tyre Lodging on Keesler AFB was the best nights sleep after attending a local event. We were there Space-A, & I could not have asked for a better room, or nicer Staff. They had complete meals downstairs for the convenience of guests, including salads. It was a great experience and I appreciated the trip because this part was handled so we'll. Thank you!

Staff was extremely professional, room were kinda small, but I am pleased with everything. Hotel is within walking distance from everything. 5 stars from me!

The Inns of Keesler was an amazing place to stay. The staff was very friendly, the rooms super clean and I felt very welcomed while I was there. I would definitely recommend you stay here!! Also Angelica at the front desk was fantastic, very personable and outgoing. Thank you!

The room that I'm staying in is very nice, private bathroom, clean, and if I ever need anything, I can always get ahold of someone at the front desk. The staff are really nice, and housekeeping is always on point.
