AMC Newport On The Levee 20

AMC at Newport on the Levee in Newport, KY is an excellent movie theater. It is quite big and has an IMAX screen for an immersive experience and several other screens that support 3D viewing. I recently went there to watch Transformers: Rise of the Beasts movie in IMAX and had a great time!

The theater is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with spacious seating and top-notch picture and sound quality. The friendly staff provides great service. They have a wide selection of movies and reasonably priced concessions. Convenient parking is available. Highly recommended for a fantastic movie experience!

Limb & Leaf and Lavender Trail are 2 of our favorite stores. We drive 90 minutes for thrse stores!!!

Great place! Clean and modern. Comfy lounge reclining chairs, amazing screens, sound and accommodations. Very accessible with elevator access, handicap seating, bathrooms and well lit paths as well. At the movie theater, the customer service staff will validate your parking in the garage for a big discount on your parking expense with your movie ticket stub.

Being disabled in a wheelchair, my friend recommended we see a movie one day. I agreed with uncertainty out of ignorance of how I would walk to the seats. Our movie experience turned out absolutely wonderful with convenient areas in the theater to park your wheelchair and enjoy the screen.

The theatre was very nice, unlike the mall, which has no retail left. Almost none.
The theatre was clean, modern, and had electric reclining leather seats. Sound system and picture resolution was awesome. It cost $5.00 to park for three hours. The concession stand was a bit anemic, but reasonable priced for a typical movie theatre.

Two adults & Two Kids we all dressed up as Barbie when we saw The Barbie. We Loved The Movie and Had Fun! We Went To Cold Stone Also And Had Barbie Ice Cream!

Clean. Staff is friendly. Very good for a movie theater. My kids love the escalator too, which is funny.

When it comes to space, and sheer wow-factor, the AMC in Newport, on the Levee, as they call it, is a great spot to catch a movie.

Almost made for big groups of friends or even a company outing, the concourse is open and has access to great restaurants and bars through the building.

Like most theaters now, they are filled with big red comfy recliners. Including IMAX, the theater I sat in wasn't too steep, and was not over-crowded with seats. There are several theaters located in the main building. Now that there is a bar, and better food options, you can really make the most of discount Tues when movies are only 5$.

Nothing quite beats movie near the river.

Fancy and amazing building, the food is well done. I even gotten a migration cup when I went to see migration in 3d the day the movie came out it was amazing

Let me just give a shoutout to Jacob! Such an awesome manager. Although we had many disruptions during our movie, he was very very professional and handled our concerns well.

This may be our new go to Movie Theater. They allow you to get most of the concessions and unlike Cinemark they give free refills on large drinks and popcorn. A major bonus! We saw Raya: The Last Dragon and highly recommend it! We will be back in a few weeks to see Nobody!

OLIVIA was so kind. She had amazing energy, was super helpful, and made absolutely positive that we got where we needed to be. I can not give her kindness enough praise, and I hope that AMC will recognize her and let her excel even more : or in my opinion, give her a major pay raise.

Really decent place to hang out at and quite at night

Very good river view. Good place to hang out with friends . There are lot of food and drink options. Only drawback is no free parking other than that its a wonderful place to go n chill.

This was the busiest weekend in years, with Barbie and Oppenheimer playing. The parking garage was quite busy, but still worked well, as did the emailed tickets. Arriving early didn't hurt. Some complain that the seats don't recline. Are they supposed to with IMax?

I went to see Cocaine Bear, which was in one of the smaller theatre rooms. The seats are very nice comfortable pleather recliners.

You can preorder tickets through the app, but there are additional fees so I didn't bother. But if you like convenience, you can even order food & drinks in the app delivered to your seat for a small convenience fee. One thing I will mention is that their wine & liquor seems to close in the early evening, it's not open all night, so just take note of that!

The in-person ticket buying process is now fully automated by large touchscreens machines and is pretty smooth.

On Tuesdays, tickets are half-price (all day), which is a great deal if you are flexible about when you want to go.

Overall, it's a great theatre because all of the amenities are there if you want them, but you can also go for a basic no-frills experience on a budget, and it's still going to be a great time.

I love this theater. Absolutely hate getting to it and constantly having to pay for parking, but the theater is nice. Super big, comfy, leather recliner chairs seal the deal, and you can put the armrest up in the middle of 2 seats to make it feel more like a couch, which I love lol

Going to the movies always seems to to be a little challenging these days but,
Jasmine was incredible helpful on the phone and made the evening much nicer. I fact everyone working Sunday April 16 were very friendly and helpful

Amazing movie selection as well as ways to see them. Staff has always been super helpful. Food is hot and drinks cold. Does have a bar. Popcorn has never been stale and candy never melted. Would give them more stars but max is 5.
