Under the Oak Cafe

Seeing the super cute decor at Under the Oak Cafe while we were visiting the Casino, we had to give it a try. Jorge was so friendly and helpful with what to choose from the menu and took great care of us!

I had the Hamburger Steak with Onion and Mushroom gravy with Mashed Potatoes and it was very good! My husband had the Gumbo, which he loved, and the Grilled Shrimp which was very good, too. We will be back next time!

Our experience was memorable! We received excellent customer service. Our food was delicious and looked very good. I would definitely find here again!

My girlfriend and I were there this past Friday and the Friday beforehand. Last Friday we ate at Under The Oak. I ordered a slab of ribs and she ordered the fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken. I come for the ribs. The ribs are usually on the spot. This time the ribs were tough which wasn't a big deal. This does happen, you do get sometimes a badd apple in the batch. John, the new manager who is transitioning over from the orchid room walked by and I stopped him and explained to him what was going on with my ribs. He was very courteous and willing to help. He took the ribs into the kitchen and came out and said the chef even said they were tough. Eventually a new order came out and they were spot on. John was very professional. Took the time to talk to us and actually concerned about our needs. It was nice to have someone professional like him addressing our order. Then. I think her name is Jen, our waitress. Oh she was great. She was right on it. She was ahead of herself. Couldn't have asked for a better server. First server ever and I mean ever who they are to give give us hand wipes for the ribs. I appreciate the professionalism and the concern that they expressed over our experience. Five stars was well deserved for both of these people.

We were passing through and stopped at the Scarlet Pearl to check it out and decided to eat at the restaurant.. well it was beyond our expectations the staff was super friendly and the food was incredible !! Best salmon I have had and the portions were spot on . If you come through Biloxi I would highly recommend Under the Oak restaurant. Nice casual atmosphere , and light and bright feeling throughout the facility . We came back and I had the chopped steak and just as expected … superb.

Gem inside Scarlet Pearl Casino. Good variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner entrees.

Chicken Francaise is popular and delicious. Italian beef is nice, too.

Give it a try before or after Lava Links or your choice of entertainment fun.

It is always a pleasure to share my wife's and myself experience at a restaurant. It goes without mention that my wife and myself are habitual and loyal customer's. The menu is expansive, reasonably priced, and very satisfying. The chiefs and staff are extremely experienced, well trained, and very competent. Also, substitutions are provided to accommodate your diet. Altogether, bravo! Job well done.

The food was amazing! It is just the cutest resturant definitely Alice in Wonderland vibes.

After a 10 minute wait, we got a text letting us know our table was ready. The food was excellent, and our server Melissa was very attentive and delightful. Going back for dinner!

I've ate here a few times and the food is delicious. I had the chopped steaks with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts and it was flavorful. The portion size is great. I'm always get full when I eat here and never leave hungry. The service and atmosphere is wonderful.

Absolutely love the new look of Under the Oak Cafe. Our server was Renee and she took very good care of us. Great service, great food and Renee had a wonderfully pleasant personality.

Always delicious!! We had the chicken salad, bang bang shrimp, gumbo, pork chops and more. So good!

I would like to inform the few people who leave 1 or 2 stars has a devastating effect on the business that you are reviewing. Just remember that the wait people cooks ect are only human and a times may have a off day.
If your going to leave a negative review then do so in the comments telling the issue. The star rating really does not effect you or change your experience but can put a restaurants out of business. When clearly they are way more 5 stars. Reviews showing that it is a good place to eat.
I love this place food is always good and prices are reasonable and staff are very nice and you can get breakfast all day. **So be kind***

So, I eat here every time I'm in the are which is at least 4 times each year. The food is phenomenal as is the service. A manager checks on us every visit. I truly believe a lot of the negative reviews are people trying to get something for nothing. So, while I am a fan of Under The Oak, I am not a fan of negative people trying to take advantage of restaurants, hotels, etc...

There arnt enough words to describe. Food was amazing best breakfast I had ever.

We are always taken care of by Kris. He always greats us with a smile. He is the best server out of all the restaurants at the casino. He goes above and beyond to make us happy. He makes sure our food comes out timely and always has the best personality!

*Kayla was the best I've ever had as a server. Polite, on point throughout our entire experience at the Oak. We had to request to speak to the management and share her greatness.

Kyree has to be a newer employee but he was the difference maker in providing the greatest service I've seen here in the 6+ years that I've been coming here to eat at Under The Oak. Thank you!!!

All of it was great. The decoration was awesome, food was really good and our waiter Zach was super friendly.

Awesome food and nice staff. Waitress Asia was very sweet and fast. We will be going back again.
