I really like the VAMC Biloxi. Everyone there I have dealt with has been professional, while still being friendly and courteous. My PCP Dr Declouet is super and has gotten my meds on track, even changing one that an outside Dr prescribed to a better, non-controlled alternative. The service I have received there has been on time and as scheduled. The only negative is that it is located a little far from our home and I wish there was a closer branch clinic, but the travel is worth it for the good care I receive from my Dr and all the others there.

VA Biloxi is a great example of comprehensive veteran care. The nurses and doctors are great, friendly, professional and show true "southern hospitality" ...However, the administrative/front office people need to be re-trained in customer service (phone answering and response time) and record accuracy.

Giving this a 3 star because I was just now assigned a primary care. I am transferring from another VAMC. I hope the medical service is more knowledgeable than the people who answer the phone. It took 4 calls intro the operator to finally get to the right person. The operation just does a blind transfer to whatever department, sit on hold only to find out it is the wrong department. The 4th call to the operator I asked to speak with the supervisor. She was no more knowledgeable than the operator. She tried to send me to the community care department. Good grief, what idiots that run the main line.
Hopefully the patient care will be better.

My theory is that Medical Professionals that are ineligible to work anywhere else all come to the VA to practice. I could be wrong....

Womens health never answers the phone, I was on hold today for 4 hours and still haven’t reached anyone.

Any veteran suffering from PTSD and is thinking about doing the PTSD inpatient program and think that the psychiatrists and psychologists will actually care about you, think twice. Remember to they are there for a paycheck not your well-being.

If you are struggling with mental health concerns, steer clear of any in or outpatient services. They overmedicated me (twice) to the point of giving me suicidal ideation and admitting myself. Request med management and therapy sessions through community care. (I recommend Banyan Treatment Centers) If you do have to go inpatient, make sure you aren't assigned to Alvin, the social worker. And good luck trying to get a hold of a patient advocate. I called 3 and not one of them returned my call. (See my detailed letter to Congressman Ezell on TikTok @ tinagreenlee988)

I just wrote a very long and detailed reason about all of the VA 's HUGE ERRORS, INCOMPENTCIES RIGHT HERE ON THIS SITE ONCE I BEGAN LISTING ALL OF THE MANY, MANY PEOPLE I WOULD BE MAKING AWARE OF ALL OF THE PROBLEMS WITHIN THE VA MY PHONE WAS HACKED AND RIGHT BEFORE MY EYES IT BEGAN ERASING EVERYTHING. I KNOW THAT SOUNDS CRAZY AND CONSPIRATORIAL BUT IT HAPPENED AND I WILL BE FOLLOWING THROUGH TO INCLUDE THE HACKING AND ERASING OF EMBARRASSING FACTS REGARDING THE VA. As I watched my review being erased I attempted to quickly add to home screen and it is not there . IDK who did this but I will be including what happened in my many, many letters to everyone I mentioned in it. Shame on you. It's here somewhere.

The absolute worst care for veterans, if I could give 0 stars I would. Washington just needs to fire everyone working here and start hiring new people who actually care about veterans and not just getting a paycheck. The nurse practitioners they have hired for the women's clinic are so incompetent it's ridiculous

The V.A. is and always was garbage. Hope you don't have any mental health problems because you will end up loaded with meds prescribed by the VA's lowest bid. I would rather rot then succumb to these fool's demands also. Do they think they are still dealing with active duty military personel? Get ready for The VA way or the highway. I guess it's the highway for me.

This place is garbage. I moved here from KY where the VA was top notch and to come here where you sit on hold for 40 mins to make an appointment just to get hung up on so you can start all over!

Voc rehab and occupational therapy should bough be gutted and rebuilt because the employees are ignorant and unworthy of working with veterans
