Love this place. On a day that every restaurant within 3 counties was either out of power or so busy you couldn't get in the parking lot, we managed to get a spot here. The ladies kept the breakfast buffet full and the coffee coming. I was afraid they would have you packed in like sardines but there was plenty of wiggle room after you were seated. The food was delicious, and after spending almost two hours searching for a place where power was still out to half the area, a well stocked buffet was exactly what we needed. The employees were all friendly and helpful, even with my grumpy 10 year old. We will definitely be back even if it is a bit of a drive.

When ever we are in town we always stop in.
It is as close to home cooking you can have. Only thing missing is Grandma and your kitchen table.
These are real genuine people. They do a great job. And they are your neighbors. No big chain restaurant here. So go support them!
It is very popular, so parking can be tight.
But no worries, more parking is available next door.

We will definitely dine there again. The breakfast bar was absolutely delicious. The service was great and the waitresses were as well.

The staff is great. Food is really great. Home cooked meals. It's not a fast food restaurant. They cook everything to order.

Great diner atmosphere with a good selection of traditional diner fare and special menu items. I was there for breakfast. My order was simple but it was cooked to order and delicious!
I had a cheddar cheese omelette, hash browns, and toast.
The server, Jessica, was great.

Went to Red Rooster for lunch with family and the waitress was so friendly and sweet. I don't remember her name, but she said she used to live in Key West. Food was great and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We will be back!

The staff was friendly. I didn't have to wait long to be seated. The food was hot and fresh. I ordered a breakfast plate that consisted of two eggs over easy, two pieces of sausage, hash browns, gravy, and one of the fluffiest biscuits I have ever had the pleasure of putting in my mouth. If you're ever in the Danville area, this place is worth a visit. I can't wait to try their lunch menu.

I used to go here a lot and it was always pretty good. It's been several years since I went there last. I just went back after not being in town and I'm happy to say it's even better than it used to be. Food is excellent and staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. If you like homemade dinner type restaurants I highly recommend this restaurant.

Perfect option for a easy walk next door's Hampton Inn. Great menu, nice server, really good prices, draft beer, dessert for only $3?. Had a great time.

We had 4 people eat there. 2 had breakfast and 2 had lunch. It was all delicious. I had salmon patties, home fries and pinto beans. Delicious. Highly recommend!! Very nice staff too. All sweet ladies.

Food was phenomenal! We had the chicken and dumplings, fried okra, potato salad, fries, corn fritters, and the deep fried Chili dog. Absolutely delicious! Staff was very kind and welcoming. Highly recommend! Tons of delicious food for a very reasonable price!

Very friendly and courteous staff. I had the onion burger it was the best I had for a long time . The wife had the breakfast platter the eggs was perfectly cooked and the best coffee in town the price is really really good too they only open till 3:00 you need to get there early because the line is out the door sometimes

I have been eating there for over a year now. I take my elderly dad every Tuesday morning, he loves it! Serving staff is what you would expect in a small town diner, second to none awesome!!! Feels like home and plenty to see on all the walls. The food is always hot and tastes like home cooking. See you all next Tuesday!!!!

Wonderful home type cooking. Fresh, hot coffee. The buffet has many choices along with the salad bar. Hamburgers are real beef not premade. Owner and staff are great. If have allergies very conscientious about providing what you can have. Will be returning.

The breakfast buffet was awesome and offered a generous variety and the cost was very reasonable. The server wasn't very friendly but she did provide a good service. The whole place felt like being in grandma's kitchen.
